Part 21 ✿

"Jeongin, check if anyone's there" Yeonjun proposed to the younger, before they exit this suffocating blue room, they need to make sure they're good. The boy did as he was told and opened the door to let his head pass.

And then he saw, a couple dozen of bulky men in suits. One cracked his knuckles and they were wearing sunglasses, indoors, probably to make themselves look intimidating. And it worked since the time controlling ebyser was petrified.

He slowly shut the door closed without a word and turned to the others "Umm.. looks like we have some visitors and I don't think they're here to play."

Soobin clicked his tongue, they now realised that they were too careless. The security cameras surely caught them while they were walking around the white rooms which is why those men are here..

He's the second oldest so he has to take responsibility and try to lead the group out of this situation "L-Look guys, I think we need to split into teams and try to sneak past them.."

Beomgyu nodded in agreement "Yea it's not like we can fight them without our ebyses." He snickered and looked beside him "And naturally, I'm going with Taehyu—"

The dark-haired flickered his eyes in the sudden realisation that the blonde wasn't there anymore. "Taehyun?!"

'If those guys think that I'm leaving this place without my siblings, well... they're wrong.' While Soobin was speaking his thing and that all the attention was on him. Taehyun had discreetly left the blue room. Of course the men that were guarding the door saw him but they let him go, since they were asked to leave him safe, plus he wasn't running towards the exit.

He then perceived the child and the young teenager sitting on the floor of the pink room. They were making water bubbles by putting their ebyses together.

The first thing Taehyun did when he joined them was pat Hikari's silverish hair "Guys I might need your help, Beomgyu and some of my friends are trapped in the blue room, with some armed guys guarding the door"

The European girl made puffy cheeks "Wait wait, I just realised... That pervert is Beomgyu? The one you always talk to us about? Sérieusement?"

"Pervert? Why—"

"I guess I respect him a bit more then" the younger male shrugged his shoulders and levitated off the floor "But what do you want us to do Taehyun-kun?"

Taehyun decided to spill out his thoughts to the two "You see those friends of mine are here because they want to help us get out of EFN. We need to somehow distract those men so they can leave the blue room then we all go to the red one. Since I just realised that that's where the actual exit is."

Maya hummed as she popped a water bubble that was made out of the air that her Japanese friend created "If they are guarding the blue room, it means they're staying in the white hall, which also means that our ebyses won't work there."

"Ah."

Meanwhile,

The men were about to force the door open, so the ebysers had to act quickly.

"Ok let's split into pairs and when they open the door we quickly run out in different directions, so they get confused"

Soobin suggested "Me and Yeonjun hyung, Huening and Minhee, Sunghoon and Jeongin, Beomgyu Nari and that living teddy."

"Anyone but that nuisance!!" the last mentioned ebysers complained at the same time while pointing at each other. « No not the unintelligent and the weird female! »

Minhee sensed the door on the verge of being forcibly opened "Okay guys.. 3 2 1.."

The door was then kicked open revealing ten men, some equipped with bats.

"GO!!"

"Taehyun!!"

The mentioned male glanced to the right

and from the corner of his eyes he saw four all too similar faces running towards them

"Beomgyu!!" He warmly welcomed the older who ran into his arms and he lifts him up.

"You've been separated for like 3 minutes, what's this?" Nari bitterly commented rolling her eyes.

Minhee blinked 'And you're telling me they aren't dating?'

Beomgyu pulled away solely to pinch the younger's cheeks, if it wasn't for that he'll have just stayed in the position forever "Yah why did you sneak off like that?~"

"Sorry but I had to get those two. But why is it just the five of you? (Jess too) Where are the others?" Taehyun asked, gripping the other's wrists and pulling them away from his cheeks.

"Well um... we actually came asking for help" Huening glanced at the white hallway then back at Taehyun "Me, Beomgyu hyung, Minhee and Nari were the only ones who were able to run past those suited men..."

"Wait what?!" Taehyun scurried towards the extreme of the pink room that they're in. That room is like an open space that is directly connected to one of the white hallways, specifically the one that contains the blue room.

So he easily perceived his friends being manhandled by those 10 guards in that hall.

He snapped his head to face his former schoolmates "Guys since we're in the pink space we can use our ebyses, let's help them!"

Beomgyu's eyes widened, after briefly checking the future "One of those men will leave the group to beat us up! He's coming in a few seconds"

They all hastily went to join Taehyun and the first thing they saw, was a big man dashing towards them with a raised fist.

"MINHEE!" Kai yelled "He's aiming for your head! Dodge him by moving to the right!"

Kai was able to predict the person's move by reading their mind. So as commanded Minhee quickly moved to the right with his super-speed and avoided being hit in the face.

The man lost his balance since he missed his target, Taehyun took this brief opportunity and gave him a fire kick in the crotch.

The pain the man felt at that moment was outrageous as he fell on the floor in absolute anguish.

After removing his glasses and thanks to Nari's doing, he started giving himself harsh punches in the face till he started bleeding.

Huening Kai evilly rubbed his palms together "Without even breaking a sweat we have one man down. Nine more to go"

Beomgyu spoke out alarmed "See our friends and those men that are at the end of the hallway? In 30 seconds, Those guys are going to start beating them with those bats! We gotta do something!"

'We'll be ebys-less if we actually go over there...' With a determined expression, Taehyun turned to the two youngest and pat Hikari's head "You're stronger now, so aim at those men and try to retain them against the white wall, so our friends can run off... As long as your feet are on the pink floor your ebys will work."

The younger slightly nodded, he was a bit unsure if he could do that. He faced the opened entrance of the hallway and stretched his arms before him. After scrunching his face trying to unleash his power, a sudden blast of air escaped his palms, so strong that it made him fall backward.

"Guys!!!" Minhee warned in a loud voice, he has inhumanly quick movements, same for his senses. So before the blast could hit its target he shouted at his friends to duck down.

With some difficulty but successfully, Yeonjun, Soobin, Jeongin and Sunghoon slightly crouched down as the blast of wind hit their attackers. The force of it made them stick to the wall like glue.

"My ebys can't retain them for long so quickly come towards us!" Hikari yelled at the males who were now free. As instructed they ran the white hallway to join the others in the pink space of EFN.

Soobin smiled "Thanks a real lot, now we need to—"

"They're right behind us!!!" Maya screamed while pointing at the suited men.

"Run!!" And with that, they all started running away with the guards chasing them. Except for Hikari who flew through the air, but not for long since they arrived in an ebys nullifying hallway, green.

'Wait...' Jeongin thought 'I should've stopped time when I could've'

"It's like we're playing tag!" Maya commented more cheerfully than she's supposed to be in a situation like this.

They had more stamina than the older men so they were a bit faster. The group of 11 then decided to go into a yellow room and hid behind a wall in a squatting position, to see if they can miss them.

The X-ray vision ebyser, Soobin looked behind to face the yellow wall "I can see them.. they're coming.." he whispered. They closed their eyes hoping for the best. The running footsteps were getting awfully loud ...

The door barged open "You brats!!"

But much to the suited men's surprise, the ebysers started smirking one by one.

A man looked down as his eyes widened, now realising what colour the room is.. 'Shit.'

The head of EFN, who actually needs to be in prison by now, was in her office while sipping her coffee. She was observing the life footage activities at EFN and sighed 'Do I pay those fools to lose against some little aliens? Of course they will be at a disadvantage since they're in the yellow room...'

'One down,... another one, and another one'

she counted while observing the men getting toyed and massacred by the young ebysers 'I see Hikari has gotten pretty strong... good for him.'

The really laidback lady sighed again with a shake of the head 'Looks like they're all unconscious or dead now, pathetic... I should call for reinforcements... I'm too lazy to go out there so if they escape so be it. We'll just need to abduct more powerful ebysers in the near future.

I know the police won't do shit if they complain to them. So I'm good.'

"Maya... you can stop now.. I think he's dead"

A boiling water sphere was englobing the head of the last man still standing, preventing him from breathing. The girl snapped her fingers, making it cease, and the red-faced man who's air deprived slumped on the yellow floor.

Nari started laughing "Non-ebysers are so weak!"

"Dark humour." Taehyun made a two-worded comment.

The shorthaired female continued "But honestly Sunghoon, it was so funny how you gave the men the illusion that they were fried chicken, they started biting each other..!" The tall male laughed along.

While they were doing that, Yeonjun and Kai slightly crouched in front of Hikari. "Wah you're a pretty boy!" Yeonjun exclaimed in disbelief. "And your ebys is cool!!"

"He'll get all the girls if he goes to school—" Hueningkai suddenly poked Yeonjun's arm and whispered. "Uh we're annoying him, he's cussing us out in his head."

Nari made a sly smirk and tiptoed towards a certain blonde-haired, then clung on to his arm "Taehyun-ah~ now that we got rid of those guys, do you want to elope together?"

The male made a grumpy expression and placed his index on her forehead, pushing her head away "No thanks."

Beomgyu gripped his free arm and pulled him away "Better luck next time girl, except there's no next time."

His expression softened as he looked at Taehyun "So do you know where the exit is?"

The blonde turned to the happy looking group and made a pained smile at them but they didn't notice that the smile was fake "It's in the red room, it's next to the one we're in..."

With that, they hastily made their way over there, Taehyun trudging behind.

"We're here!!!" Kai and Yeonjun yelled simultaneously in joy.

They were right in front of a huge door that was now opened, displaying a field, a hill and a road that led to a train station. You can hardly tell what time it is when you're in EFN but they could now see that it was almost nighttime.

Hikari and Maya ran out like they've not seen the outside world in years, which is actually a fact. Hikari levitated off the grass and flew towards the sky, he closed his eyes and took a deep nice breath. The little girl was also running around with her arms wide open.

Some of the group followed them out as well and they started celebrating their achievement.

Four of them actually stayed behind for a bit contemplating the sight "Taehyun now that we're free, let's ditch all these dimwits and get married!" Nari suggested to the male while tugging on his shirt.

Beomgyu deeply sighed, tired of the girl's nonsense. But he was glad that she wasn't using her ebys on Taehyun that much anymore.

He looked at his teddy that he was holding in his arms "Heh Jess I told you I'd make it!! Who's dumb now?!"

But there was no response.

"Jess?"

"For the last time, you can't marry him!" Minhee was pulling Nari away from the blonde who had a dead expression on his face.

"Wahhh!!" She cried "No I'll force him to marry me, he won't have a choice and we'll make tons of babies"

"Minhee." By the utter of that one word, the mentioned male knew exactly what the blonde wanted him to do.

So he grabbed the girl's wrist and ran out of the open door at a speed that can rival lighting.

"Taehyun.." the blonde's attention was instantly brought to the dark-haired as he turned around to face him "I think Jessica is gone.."

"Maybe she's just sleeping?"

"She told me she doesn't sleep.."

'She could have at least said goodbye... Who's gonna call me unintelligent now?'

Beomgyu tried to reassure himself with a smile "You know, she has always been by my side on my journey to get you back.. From start till now.

As if it was her... purpose the whole time. Maybe this is a sign that.. we won't be separated anymore."

Taehyun's expression slowly became blank and serious, he looked downwards in deep thoughts. He had actually made this certain decision some time ago... And it was time to tell the older.

But meanwhile, Beomgyu was genuinely so happy thinking that this nightmare is over. That he can finally be with Taehyun, his soulmate.

He didn't question the boy's silence and took a step forward towards the door, staring at the view of his friends on the field, he was really so thankful for them, if they didn't show up, the chances of him and the other being dead right now are quite high.

While still backing the expressionless blonde, Beomgyu spoke up "There are a lot of things that I've been meaning to tell and give you... After all this, my heart finally feels ready" he chuckled "But we need to step out of this place first"

He turned his head to Taehyun as he reached his arm out to him "Do you wanna—"

"Beomgyu." Taehyun snapped in a quiet tone.

"Hm?" The dark-haired originally turned to him with a smile, but that smile disappeared after taking note of the younger's cold tone.

The blonde let a light glower set on his face as he looked up at the older and declared bluntly

"I'm not going with you. I'm staying here."
