"Hello?"

Beomgyu sprang in surprised, the door that he used to eavesdrop suddenly opened.

He now saw a lady in a lab coat standing right before him. 'Shit...'

The same one that was having a conversation with another staff member and that was told to find Beomgyu then drug him.

The female didn't question his presence and instead stoke her index out, a signal that she'll be right back, and went in the room she was previously in.

She came back with a box "It's Beomgyu right? Are you enjoying your stay here?"

The boy tensed up and looked visibly nervous, he literally just heard that they're planning on drugging him for heaven's sake. 'Is it that time where I run? Nah.'

The people are apparently curious how Beomgyu made the younger's body warm when it was supposed to be cold like usual. They could just ask Beomgyu if he knows why that occurred. But they'll rather do things more.. physically.

He nodded "Yea... this place is really... white."

"Now..." The woman smiled and opened the box "Here. Have one. Our homemade cupcakes that we make for our guests"

'That trick won't work on me, they're definitely poisoned.'

He started walking backwards "Oh sorry I can't have one.. I'm on a diet and I really need to throw my wrapper away. If not.. oof you know?" His walking speed accelerated and he made playful finger guns at her with both of his hands "Gotta go!"

Her expression darkened but she didn't give up "Oh really...? We let our element ebysers do activities like cooking. Taehyun happened to have made these cup—"

In a matter of a second, Beomgyu was right in front of her again which made her slightly flinch at how speedily he ran back to her. He gazed at the cupcakes with sparkly eyes "Taehyun made these?! Gimme gimme gimme now!"

'It's that easy?!' She wondered stupefied "Yep. But I did add the finishing touches..." she grinned.

Without questioning anything, Beomgyu hastily grabbed one and brought it to his mouth.

« MY MIND IS BLOWN! YOU REALLY ARE THE WORLD'S MOST UNINTELLIGIBLE MORTAL..! »

Beomgyu gasped and instantly retracted himself from the cupcake. He ran off in the heat of the moment without taking the teddy who had secretly followed him.

The woman threw the box on the floor in anger then turned to the laboratory again "Guys plan B!"

« I hope that he will one day acquire the intelligence that he so rightfully doesn't deserve. »

While running, Beomgyu brought his phone out and started sending a couple of messages to his cousin for some reason which included the word, help.

He glanced up and perceived exactly who he was looking for, a blonde was standing alone in a white room "Taehyun!"

Before the blonde could react to his name being called, he was englobed in a hug "Taehyun.. we need to go"

The younger's heart jumped at this abrupt contact "Bu—"

"Now!" Beomgyu pulled away and started lightly shaking him "Don't tell me you want to stay here.."

"I-I No..? But.. this is so sudden.. what's going on?"

Beomgyu explained to him everything that he heard, it isn't safe for them to stay here or they might both end up getting killed. He then cupped his cheeks "So please.. let's escape together okay? I want to be with you"

Taehyun blushed faintly "Okay... but what about Hik—"

Beomgyu grabbed his hand and pulled him to walk along with him "Quick before they catch us! I don't see anyone around here so this is our chance.. do you know where the exit is?"

The younger followed him but he looked a bit anxious and unsure. He's been trapped here for a year, he indeed doesn't like this place and despises the blue room. But, he kind of got used to this lifestyle... leaving this place feels too good to be true but... also weird.

"I.. think it's around the end of this white hallway but I'm really not sure. I still get lost, this place is a labyrinth"

"I see a door though" Beomgyu exclaimed and started running towards it while still holding the other's hand.

But before they could reach it, someone gripped the older's collar from behind, almost choking him.

"Where do you think you're going?"

Taehyun lightly gasped in fear, seeing two big security guards behind them, But he wasn't that intimidated as he hit the man's hand away from Beomgyu "I was just showing our guest around..."

The men crossed their arms and one spoke up "Okay but we're keeping an eye on you now. And Taehyun you are ordered by our scientists to go to the blue room. Don't worry about the guest he's coming with us to the operating suite"

"What no!! Get lost!" Beomgyu yelled without realising.

He turned to the younger and whispered in a broken voice "Taehyun please... we need to get out"

The other made a pained chuckle and caressed Beomgyu's cheek "We can't..."

"Enough!" One grabbed Taehyun's arm, taking him away from the dark haired's clutch "You're going to blue room at once"

"N-NOOO PLEASE! I don't wanna go there again!"Taehyun cried in a desperate voice trying to wriggle his way out of the men who were carrying him away "Beom hyung..."

Rage took over Beomgyu as he darted towards them "Don't touch him you sons of bitc—" but he was abruptly stopped and fell backwards, by the sudden appearance of a wall made of red lasers, giving him an electric shock.

"No..." after getting up with a lot of pain, he touched a laser with his finger which immediately stung him. "No no no TAEHYUUUUN!"

But the blonde and the guards where no longer in sight. Beomgyu slumped down in defeat, the so-called exit is right behind him but there's no way in hell that he'll leave without the younger.

All he ever wanted was to be with the one he loves but looks like the world is really against it.

'I shouldn't have promised his mother, Soobin hyung and the others that I will come back home with him...'

He can control his visions a bit better now, so he closed his eyes and tried to make it happen.

After a while he opened them back in shock "He's gonna... he's gonna..."

With tears in his eyes, Beomgyu got up and foolishly tried to run past the lasers again but was shocked right away and tumbled backwards.

"Taehyun no!!!!!"

There was a switch on the other side of the lasers but he couldn't reach it.

He sat on the floor and started hitting it with his clench fist. He knows that they're putting the boy in the room to make him 'drunk-like' so the blonde wouldn't resist when they unprofessionally open his chest up, and he saw in his vision that the younger will die from that. And after, they will do their business with Beomgyu.

This outcome is definitely what's going to happen if Beomgyu stays the way he is right now. Everything will smoothly go as EFN wanted. Taehyun just has to stay in that room for an hour then it all begins.

20 minutes later,

Beomgyu was sitting down in defeat, anger, sadness, frustration. Facing downwards, trying to think of a solution. He then heard a little sound, like something was switching off, he looked up and jumped up in absolute surprise.

"What's up Gyu!"

Beomgyu slowly covered his mouth that was open in awe, he thought he was going to burst out in happy tears "Guys..."

He gasped again, he just couldn't believe it "How...?"

In front of him with the now deactivated lasers were standing, Yeonjun, Soobin, Huening Kai, Minhee, Sunghoon, Jessica, Jeongin and Nari.

Yeonjun crossed his arms all cheeky "You texted me for help not too long ago. So I gathered you and Taehyun's close friends from Ebys academy and we all came to help ya!"

"Hi!!" Minhee and Sunghoon greeted simultaneously

"Hehehehe" Kai giggled "This hyung is too much"

"For the record!" Nari snapped sassed "I'm only here to help my Taehyun! I'm the one he loves the most in this room so how couldn't I?"

"This place is so cool!" Jeongin randomly gasped while holding the teddy tiger « Thank you for leaving me behind by the way. I really appreciate it. »

Beomgyu's eyes widened, it's indeed true that he texted Yeonjun but it was just because he was panicking, he didn't think for a second that they would actually come "B-But how?!"

Soobin spoke up "My older sister Yewon, she has the teleportation ebys and she made us teleport here with just a snap of her fingers"

"REALLY?" Beomgyu shouted, he was spirited again "When we find Taehyun all that would be left to do is tell her to teleport us out of here right?"

The blue haired made a doubtful expression all of a sudden and brought his phone out "Aish....We can't, She recently had to change her number because of some stalkers and I didn't save it yet. I didn't tell her why we even needed to come here."

The group all slapped their foreheads in exasperation.

"Anyway!" Since the lasers aren't there anymore, nothing was stopping Beomgyu from running to that blue room. The others followed him.

They're all ebysers except for our former ebys user, Yeonjun.

X-ray vision, mind-reading, mind-controlling, super speed, precognition, time controlling and the illusion ebys.

But since most of the rooms of EFN are ebys nullified, they can't do much as of now.

Beomgyu opened the blue room door that's never actually locked and barged in with the others.

Taehyun was sitting on the floor hugging his knees, swaying back and front, like he was in a traumatised state.

But he slowly looked up like a puppy and his eyes soon widened, he stood up and stared at the group. It hasn't been an hour yet so he was still sane but not completely either.

A relieved smile plastered on Beomgyu's face, he advanced towards him and spread his arms "Taehyun..."

The blonde ambled towards him, a smile appearing on his face as well "I missed you"

The two were now about to be face to face, Beomgyu closed his arms to embrace the younger but, he ended up hugging.... the air.

"MINHEE-YAH!" Taehyun exclaimed in joy before hugging the taller who was standing right behind Beomgyu.

"My fellow Kang!! It's been a while!" he ruffled his blonde locks.

Beomgyu let out a whimper while clutching his broken heart and fell on his knees in the most dramatic way possible "It hurts.." he whispered under his breath "This Minhee guy is always getting in between.. first with the umbrella now this? Kill me now"

The ravenette heard footsteps approaching him, and the person slumped on the floor next to him "For the first time... I feel you." Nari murmured.

"What's going on?" Sunghoon wondered staring at the dramatic gloomy scene.

Yeonjun shrugged his shoulders "Not sure"

Huening whined "Wahhh where's my ebys?!! I'm sure I'm missing out on so much tea"

"Guys" With his hands on the shoulder of weak-headed Taehyun, Minhee turned to the last three who spoke up "Now that we're reunited we gotta go..!"

Beomgyu got up and trudged towards the group

"In-" he pulled Taehyun away from the other by the arm and laced his arms around the blonde "-deed" he scoffed spitefully.

Taehyun's chest heated up at Beomgyu's back hug and slowly got back to his senses already. Nari rushed towards them and hit Beomgyu "Stay away from my Taehyun! You stupid and f*ckin ugly piece of shit!"

Beomgyu yelled at her "Shut up b*tch! Oh and look who's pissed because she can't make Taehyun like her anymore"

Taehyun turned to her and said nonchalantly. "You're right about him being stupid, but there's legitimately something wrong with your head if you think he's not one of the most handsome guys you've seen."

The mentioned one could feel his ears burning at the compliment but at the same time he had a done expression over unarguably being called stupid.

'Not my fault the time travelling made me lose braincells....'

"You know what's strange?" Soobin started, unbothered by what was going on "My sister wasn't able to teleport us right in front of Beomgyu back then. We actually teleported to some pink room then walked towards him... but thankfully we didn't meet anyone on the way.."

Taehyun replied "That's because Beomgyu was in a white hallway. All white, blue, green rooms are ebys nullified. Pink, red and yellow being the only ones that aren't."

"I've never felt so normal in my life..." Sunghoon the illusion ebyser whispered to himself "So this is what it's like to be a non-ebyser..?"

"Let's get out of this blue room and leave this place! I already can't take it anymore!" Jeongin vociferated

This was their plan from the start, getting Taehyun out of there, but the latter felt upset that his friends seem to be neglecting his 'two younger siblings'.

Hikari has been trapped here ever since he was a baby and Maya is just nine and is now living in these conditions.

Beomgyu took Taehyun's hand in both of his own and smiled softly "We will make it Tyun-ah"

"Those who broke in are currently in the blue room ma'am, our security cameras recorded the fact that they're from ebys academy and they want to take our blazing ebyser away."

The head of EFN sipped her coffee before doing some rapid typing on her computer "The blue room eh. Okay, Send.. let's say a dozen of our armed men to eliminate those little mutated humans. Except for Taehyun and Choi Beomgyu, the scientists demand to perform an operation on them. Just make sure they don't get into any of the coloured places, or we'll be at a serious disadvantage"

She then made a 'shoo' gesture with her hand, signalling the guard to leave and do his thing, eyes still on the computer.
