Part 13 ✿

"W-Who the hell are you? Why do you look exactly like...." Younger Beomgyu mumbled in apprehension as the tall raven-haired walked in.

The older one closed the bedroom door and kneeled down to be at the same level as the two who where chilling on the fluffy carpet.

"Um.. I'm Taehyung's friend?? He told me... to accompany you home Beomgyu....." He said not sounding the least bit suspicious. Yes.

"Tyun is it me or we look the same?" Younger Beomgyu asked his friend.

'This is certainly not a sight you see everyday..' He then glanced at Taehyun who he somehow thought was cuter than his younger self. "Hi I also just wanted to tell you something important."

Little Taehyun could feel his cheeks reddening as he sheepishly went closer to Beomgyu2 as if he was trying to hide. "Huh what's wrong Tyun?"

Taehyun replied in a muffled and quiet voice "I'm shy... This hyung is too good looking.. He looks a lot like you actually"

"Wait wait.." Beomgyu2's heart somersaulted. "You said we look alike so that means—"

"One hundred times more handsome than you though." he said monotonously while peeping at the oldest.

"THAT'S SO UNCALLED FOR!" He then gave himself the deathliest glare. "Friend of my brother or not, you gotta go, why'd you come in so randomly like this, did you even knock??"

He turned to Taehyun and whispered in his ear. "We don't know who this is... should we ask your mother to make sure?"

« Why do you keep going as an outsider? You could just take the place of the 14 year old.. »

Taehyun tried his very best not to make it obvious that he's boy crushing

"I don't want him to leave though..." He whispered back.

Beomgyu2 immediately threw himself at the older and started giving him little punches "G-Go away!! Your presence is aggravating and you're ruining everything!"

"Yah stop hitting me?!"

'Huh why was I working out more at 14 years old than now?!'

'Age 14 eh... I think it was the period where I started to really question my sexuality. Freaking Taehyun, he messed me up just by existing.'

He decided to play around a bit

"Hey Taehyun, your friend right here has a massive crush on you"

Little Beomgyu's face turned bright red, as if it was glowing "WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?! I DON'T AT ALL! F*CK OFF WITH YOUR LIES!!"

'Expected reaction'

Taehyun said nonchalantly "You're mistaking. Beom hyung doesn't like me like that at all. How would he?"

Even though he denied it as well, Beomgyu2's sensitive little heart shattered. "Yeah sure sure... I'm just gonna.." He ambled towards a corner of the room and just sat there, that's his favourite spot for internal crises.

Honestly, Taehyun's obliviousness drains him.

Beomgyu went to him while chuckling "Hey it's fine! You get used to it!"

"How the hell would you know that?" He glared into the older's eyes, as the silent eye contact grew longer and longer. Younger Beomgyu started feeling this weird connection with this 'stranger'.

So much that he suddenly felt bad for not being truthful. "I admit it.." He looked down and mumbled lowly enough for Taehyun not to hear a thing. "I think I think I like him.. but he doesn't like gay people, I don't know what to do..."

Beomgyu made a bittersweet smile. He knows this all too well, seeing his younger self was making him relive these troubling emotions.

"Well something tells me that there's a possibility of things working out between you two."

Little Beomgyu glared at him from down to up with a judgmental look. "Dude you're creepy what'd you know about us? Unless—"

"Ahem bye!" The oldest decided to approach the small brunette who has been engrossed in his phone. 'There's something that I need to do, before warning him about the rebystraint..

Maybe try to solve what made our friendship fell apart.'

"Taehyun" He whispered. "I wasn't joking."

"About what?"

"About your friend.. He really likes you a lot." He emphasised the word 'really' "Well I know you don't.."

"Eww what's wrong with you!?" He threw the roses that Beomgyu just gave him in his face. "You're so gross!!!"

Beomgyu wanted to cry, seeing the genuine look of disgust on his crush's face. "But why?? I- I Tyun-ah p-please I really do lo—"

"Stay away!!! I don't want your disgusting gay germs!"

"But I love you!!"

He cried, feeling nothing but despair.

"Well I don't!! You just had to ruin our friendship huh!? Get the hell away from me and go see a doctor for the brain 'cause you've got real f*cking issues!"

Beomgyu shook the bad memories off, memories of getting brutally turned down at the age of 17, crying nonstop after and refusing to face the boy again "But when he finally decides to tell you this himself, please reject him politely..."

Taehyun blinked. "He doesn't even like me like that."

"Ok ok. I'm just asking you to not reject him too harshly if he does prove you otherwise."

"But—"

"If you care about him and his mental health even a little. You'll listen to me." Beomgyu got a bit direct and suspiciously personal there so he breathed in.

Taehyun felt a little speechless. "Mm.."

"Anyway what were you guys about to do before I came here?"

With eyes that seemed a little less welcoming, Taehyun showed what was in his hands. "...We were about to put this newly created rebystraint on my cheek."

'Oh right.. I remember doing this'

"I'm begging you, Please don't use your rebystraint... it will really harm you a lot."

"W-what? But... if I don't put it on, I will keep getting fulminations.."

The older held both of his hands, making Taehyun blush. "Please.... those fulminations are actually beneficial. And I don't think they will ever harm you. Just whatever is around you.."

Taehyun giggled a bit. "Sorry but no... I want to believe you but I can't, what would my parents even say to all this? If you had my friend's ebys, you'll be able to make me not do it. But you're not her so..."

Beomgyu1 suddenly felt someone hitting his head.

"Stay away from him you f*ckin predator." The younger him complained and immediately sat beside his friend with his arms now wrapped around him, all defensive.

"Don't call yourself that!" He cleared his throat "Curious who's this friend you're talking about Taehyun?"

"My friend Nari has the mind-controlling ebys"

"I NEVER KNEW ABOUT THAT!" Both Beomgyus exclaimed simultaneously.

Taehyun nodded a bit confused "She's an expert, she manipulates people to the core, it's kinda scary actually.."

"Wait...." Beomgyu whispered "And you're her friend?!"

Taehyun tilted his head "Why won't I be?"

"Well you.." Beomgyu looked at his younger self who looked at him back with a worried expression then back at little Taehyun "What if she takes over your mind sometimes?"

"Well I trust her not to do that"

Beomgyu hastily got up, he wasn't able to convince Taehyun not to put his rebystraint on but, something else took over his mind.

"Guys I gotta go."

"Where?" Beomgyu2 asked, the older didn't answer and instead leaned to whisper in his ear "I'm rooting for you buddy! Fighting!"

"WAIT HUH?!"

Taehyun wondered "Oh.. where did the prince-looking hyung go?"

Beomgyu2 said in a bitter voice "Who cares. I'm so glad he's gone."

'Prince-looking... Handsome... Lies lies all lies!! He's ugly!'

"You know Beom hyung.." Taehyun pinched his cheek. "You two can really pass as twins..... I feel you'll be even more handsome when you're about that age."

The older made the biggest internal squeal 'AAAH I was just kidding unknown lookalike hyung you're handsome and I love you!!!!'

He looked up just to notice that Taehyun had leaned closer to him. Instantly making his heart race. "Beom hyung, why would he even say that you have a crush on me?" He questioned with a more serious expression.

'AAH no I hate you unknown lookalike hyung!!' Taken by extreme panic, Beomgyu2 gulped as he clutched his hammering heart "Oh I.. he.."

The younger innocently tilted his head "Hm?"

"U-uh I- don't know.. where he.. got that from... haha!" He stammered nervously, clearly flustered. Then proceeded to insult himself. "He's such a liar.. a complete fool. Like really stupid. No one's as dumb and delusional as him."

He loudly cleared his throat "A-ANYWAY let's put this rebystraint on you"

Beomgyu ran to the canteen where his friends were "Soobin hyung, Yeonjun hyung, Kai, have any of you seen Nari??"

Soobin spoke up "Oh that girl from the other day? That day where you randomly told me to eat less? She's outside with Taehyun."

"Of course she is!" Beomgyu gritted his teeth and walked out.

"Where did he even come from?" Yeonjun asked.

Huening looked around "I-I don't know..."

"Hi guys!" Beomgyu2 said walking towards them from a different direction.

"HUH?!" They all exclaimed at the same time

Beomgyu made his way outside and perceived the two sitting on a bench against the brick wall of the school, so he decided to hide and listen in.

"You know Nari... I think Beomgyu is a wizard." Taehyun said.

She burst out a chuckle "Pff what?"

"Whenever I was with him in the past without having my rebystraint, my body never fulminated, I was more expressive and I didn't experience memory loss. We've been apart for a year and that year was really something else. I started getting fulminations again, emotionlessness came back and I forgot a lot of events that happened during the previous year. One of them that Beomgyu really seems to care about but I can't really seem to remember what it is." Taehyun turned to his friend

"What do you think this all means?"

Nari just stayed speechless, she thinks that she has an idea but also doesn't want to say it at loud

"I don't know."

'That thing that I care about and that you forgot, is my love confession you jerk!!' Beomgyu thought 'But I should keep the rest of what he said in mind, seems interesting... do I really have this kind of effect on him?'

Taehyun's phone started ringing and when he saw who it was, he became a bit anxious "I'm sorry but I should take this call in private.." the blonde waved at Nari then walked away.

'This is my chance' Beomgyu thought as he got out of his hiding spot then went to confront the girl "Yah Nari!"

"Oh hi Beomgyu! What's up?"

"Don't 'oh hi Beomgyu what's up' me! Do you find yourself controlling Taehyun without his consent?"

"Oh no, what's with this accusation? Why would I do that to my friend?"

Beomgyu stepped closer, feeling a hint that she wasn't being honest "Do you?!!"

Nari got up with a grin "OoOoh am I being find out??" You could hear the sarcasm, she put her hands on her hips.

Beomgyu was getting annoyed "I bet Taehyun doesn't even like you!"

"Well I guess he does, what's your deal oppa... you wish he liked you? Pffft never."

The older snapped "He doesn't. You just brainwashed him into it!"

Nari rolled her eyes then scoffed "Ok you win, now f*ck off!! What are you doing here?"

The male raised a brow 'first time I'm hearing her swear..' but the heat raised to his head after realising what she revealed "Why do you even do that?!"

She made a sinister smile "I like having such an attractive guy run after me~"

Beomgyu's eyes widened "What the hell..?"

She then put her index on her lips "We kiss often and I was even thinking of making him sleep with me one day"

She cupped her own cheeks "Aah~ I'll make him rent an expensive and romantic room.. So he can f*ck me hard~ aah I'm getting wet-" Beomgyu immediately shoved her and yelled "What the actual hell?!! No no no you're so weird!! All of this against his will and he can't even fight back, You disgusting w*ore!!!"

She shrugged her shoulders "I have that power so why not use it?"

"Don't use it for things like this!! Mind manipulation is ultra rare and that's what you do? Actually controlling people in the first place is wrong no matter how you look at it, unless it's with their consent. When did you even start doing it?"

"Around the end of middle school" Nari has been concentrating 'But why can't I brainwash him into forgetting all of this, the f*ck?'

« By the way Beomgyu, I'm neutralising the effects of her ebys on you. »

{Oh thanks Jess} he tapped his forehead as a high five.

"Is this..." Beomgyu took a step back "Is this your true self? You're always so 'sweet' and 'kind' in an unsettling way."

She scoffed "Acting, f*ckward. Others aren't the only ones I can control. I can choose to give myself a whole new personality."

'You can't beat up girls Gyu, you can't beat up girls Gyu, You can't beat up girls Gyu.....'

"Wow" Beomgyu exclaimed monotonously "What do you want in exchange for you to leave him alone?"

"I want to take his v card then I'll go"

"NO WHAT THE FREAK?!!! YOU'RE SICK!!"

Beomgyu suddenly headed off towards some bushes and slumped on the grass in exasperation, he grabbed his head 'I'm not making any progress! I can't take Taehyun's star off, he's still the blazing ebyser so he'll still die before he's 20 and now there's this bitch manipulating him'

'Please I don't want to lose him'

Beomgyu opened the bag that he has been carrying around and took the folder out of it 'That thing Taehyun told that ugly cunt, about him not getting any ebys effects when I'm with him...' He took the sheet that Kai wrote and read a small paragraph.

Those 3 other people who are basically Taehyun's family are probably already dead by now. They cannot live up to see their twenties for a fact, well unless they stay close with a specific person, but I don't have a lot of info about that. Neh.

'Of course you don't have a lot of info about what I'm interested in, Kai!'

"What are you reading?"

Beomgyu looked up and saw Taehyun standing in front of him "A-Ah uh. Oh I was wondering if you could take a look at this paragraph... You already know the consequences of being a classical element ebyser right..?"

The younger kneeled down and took a look at what the other was showing him "Yes I'm aware, not sure how you know though"

Taehyun made an 'oh' sound after reading it "I remember now when I was 10 years old, my mum told me about this. The only way a classical element ebyser can live is if they find their soulmate"

Beomgyu coughed loudly so the other gave him a weird look "Well...... what if ... you know" he scratched his head embarrassed "I'm your sou—"

"No."

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN NO?!"

"I just don't want you to be" Taehyun gave him back the sheet and got up, then something came to his mind "Your clothes... your age.."

"Uh what about them?"

Taehyun squinted his eyes "Haven't I seen you before?! Looking exactly like this?! A long time ago I think I was like 13. You randomly came to my room when I was with Beo- ......ehh?"

Beomgyu laughed at loud 'No way! So every time I leave a timeline it saves itself. The only Taehyun who knows that I time travel is the one from 'tomorrow'. But wait that was years ago for him how does he even remember that? Hmm I mean a random handsome as hell stranger breaking into your room is quite memorable I guess.'

The raven haired got up as well "Forget about that but I have a question, Do you like Nari?"

"Ew no why?"

Beomgyu batted his eyes in confusion "huh?" 'Wait...' he then rushed to where the girl was sitting a bit nearby. Then forcibly dragged her with him "The hell are you doing?!"

Taehyun observed the male basically manhandling the girl and smirked faintly but when he then made eye contact with her, his mind went completely blank.

Beomgyu went back to Taehyun with Nari beside him "Do you like Nari?"

"I like her a lot why?"

Beomgyu furrowed his brows then gave a side glare at the girl who returned a sly grin at him.

'Ok... I see how it is... freaking bitch' Beomgyu then walked away at a fast pace.

{I have a plan. We travel to the day where I first met Taehyun, tell him about us maybe being soulmates, him not putting the star on then warn him about that girl. And later we travel to the day where we met after not seeing each other for a year, and make sure we don't fight this time. After making the necessary changes I will load my save then everything should be A-okay!
