Everything needed to be perfect for Drakeâs arrival, not that it wasnât though.
As always, Agatha wanted to show herself off, and Mary allowed her.
That made me sick in my stomach, and I had to do some preparations that werenât a part of my duties, but as ever, I needed to do it.
Agatha wanted to have that party in the garden, near the fountain, which was crazy.
It was a special place, allowed for Alphas and their families, my mother used to tell me that was the place of peace and happiness that her father made for the late Alpha, Todâs grandfather, and his Luna.
Maybe I loved it there so much because it was true.
That place was sacred for those who were in love, but I never saw an Alpha or a Luna there, just an Omega gardener who was taking care of it.
And now, that spoiled brat wanted to party in there.
Shit, I wonât serve them there, no way.
âLotta, why are you obeying my orders?â As an omega, you should do as I say!â Agatha was angry, as always, when it came to Lotta.
âLotta tried to stay calm, by taking a deep breath.
She was exhausted already and all she wanted was a sleep.
âYou know damn well if you do the party to the garden, your drunk friends will ruin allâ, she answered.
âThere are some plants and flowers than donât exist nowhere else in the worldâ, she said.
âLetâs ask what your Alpha thinks about that, shall we?â Agatha was mean, and quickly went into Todâs office, together with Lotta.
âDaddy, I have a problemâ, she said with a winning voice, as every time that she wanted something from him.
Alpha was there with his Luna, discussing some things about Drakeâs return.
âAgatha, sweetheart, youâre lucky that we are alone here.â
" How many times have I told you to address me as sir?â
You are my daughter, but people in our pack need to see your respect toward meâ, he said to her.
âItâs this omega faultâ, she raised her voice.
âShe disobey my orders, not wanting to prepare everything for the party in the gardenâ, she said.
âNeaa the fountain?â Alpha was surprised.
âYesâ, she answered.
âAnd she is rightâ, he answered thoughtfully.
âYou have such a big yard and a garden all over the place, but that one is forbidden for parties, you understand?â
âHoney, I think you should allow her â, Mary involved.
âThatâs enough Mary!â
âYou are already too soft for her wishes, but this one wonât be granted, period!
âNow, young lady, you better hurry and find some other place, because your brother is coming soon, and I have a lot of work to doâ, he looked at her with raised eyebrows, which meant it was time for her to leave, and there was no more talking.
Agatha was furious, but she thanked her father politely and left his office, but not without an awful plan for revenge.
âYou can go and prepare the party in the main garden, in front of the houseâ, she said to Lotta and left.
âLotta was surprised and didnât trust Agatha, but she had too much work to do.
She was going toward a pack house, where all the main food had been prepared when she suddenly heard some footsteps behind her.
She didnât have time to react, when strong arms grabbed her, and put some cloth on her mouth, then all went into darkness.
When she finally woke up, Lotta was in the dungeon, and her hands and legs were tied up, so she couldnât move.
âWhat the hell?..â, she couldnât believe what was happening to her.
âSurprised?â She heard Agathaâs voice behind her.
âYou didnât think I will let you get away with your filthy plan, did you?â She was yelling at Lotta.
âNo one will tell me what I can or canât do, especially some worthless omega as yourselfâ, she said with bitterness.
âNow, youâll see what those who donât obey me getsâ, she said, holding a whip in her hands.
When she felt a first strike, her skin broke, together with her dress, and a warm liquid started to leak.
It was her blood.
The pain was so hard that she couldnât suspend the tears or scream, but it was only a first blow.
Agatha could whip her all night, but she wonât give her that satisfaction of hearing her screams, no.
And she did.
Agatha was whipping her so many times, that she couldnât breathe, and she stopped when one of the guards saw that Lotta had fainted, scared that she might have been dead.
She wasnât dead, but she was barely alive.
Take her to her room, I donât want to see her tonight. â
âI want her ready tomorrow for her usual dutiesâ, Agatha ordered, then went out as if nothing had happened.
One of the guards who stopped Agatha was Viktorâs friend, and he ran fas to tell him what had happened.
âDamn it, Jules, how could you let that happened, man?!â Viktor was angry.
âI had no choice, she said it was Alphaâs orders, and I did stop her from killing Lotta!â Jules defended himself.
âI doubt that was his orders because it wouldnât be Agatha that whipped herâ, Victor said.
âYou think she did this by herself?â Jules was confused.
âI do, and I have a good feeling whyâ, Viktor said, worried.
âOh my Godâ, was all that he said when he saw her.
Her back was so torn that she needed stitches, so he had no other than to take her to the pack hospital.
âWhy isnât she healing faster?â Doctor Martin was surprised after he was finished.
âShe hasnât transformed yetâ, Viktor said.
âI seeâ, the doctor answered.
âI gave her a transfusion and infusion, but when she wakes up, she will be in lot of pain, so Iâll place nurse here so she could gave her a pain killersâ, he said to him.
âIâm sorry for her, and whoever did this, must be punished, because that is too cruelâ, he said to Viktor.
âMaybe she will tell us when she wakes up.â
âMaybeâ, Viktor said, but he knew damn well that this wonât happen.
