Chapter 7 – Uninhabited Island Development Status

I was shown the details of Skor’s heal skill.

[Effect]

Recovers minor injuries and fatigue of the target. The recovery power is influenced by the skill level and the INT of the user. It deals damage to undead.

This is convenient.

So, it means that even without recovery items like potions, we can recover quickly. However, since it consumes Skor’s magic power, it doesn’t seem like we can use it recklessly.

“This is the first time I’ve received recovery magic.”

“Is that so? I thought someone like Rasty-san would have a dedicated healer or something.”

“There wasn’t anyone like that in the castle.”

“So, I’m your first then.”

Skor seemed happy for some reason. I wonder why, she suddenly seems to be in a good mood.

“Well, thanks to you, it seems like we can develop this uninhabited island smoothly. Look, if you get sick, it’s going to be tough since there’s no medicine.”

“If you need healing, please let me know anytime.”

Skor smiled brightly, her flower-like smile was dazzling. Elves are expressive and full of charm, thanks to that, I don’t get bored. To be honest, being with her was becoming more and more enjoyable.

However, the living environment is still not good enough. We must proceed with the development of this uninhabited island as soon as possible.

Apparently, when using the skill, a progress report called [Development Status] is displayed, allowing me to understand the progress. Apparently, as development progresses, the level of the uninhabited island itself rises.

Is this all we’ve got so far? But we’ll make more progress today. We’ll collect materials and finally secure ‘water’ this time. After that, we have to develop farmland and solve the food problem. Right now, we’ve only been able to eat nuts. If this goes on, we’ll starve to death.

“Skor, let’s act together today.”

“Yes, I don’t mind, but… can I just take a bath by the beach? There’s no bath here… as a substitute.”

Ah, that’s right. There’s also the problem of a bath. And a toilet. Well, for the toilet, we can just use the area around here… I was thinking that, but since Skor is a girl, I should be considerate and take care of that, too.

“Okay, I got it. Join me after you’re done. I’ll collect some materials in the meanwhile.”

“Thank you, Rasty-san. Well then.”

Skor bows her head politely and leaves the hut. …Hmm, I’m worried. I should stick closer to her. it would be a disaster If she were to be attacked by monsters. I accompany her part of the way and start collecting materials in the nearby forest.
