Chapter 72 - Blaming and Complaining

Facing the sunset, Qu Xiao walked out of the villa in a good mood.

“Why are you here?”

Qu Qi happened to bump into Qu Xiao while holding Qu Zhen’s arm affectionately. She immediately put on an unhappy expression and stared at the book in Qu Xiao’s hand. “Household register? Shang Yan already wants to divorce you?”

Listening to Qu Qi’s mocking laughter, Qu Xiao stared at her with a calm expression.

Qu Xiao shook her head and said, “Are you stupid?”

now.”

Qu Zhen blinked in confusion and said in an extremely soft voice, “You know about it too? Xiao sent me the entry notice last night. I don’t understand the job scope of management, so I asked her to help me get a position in the pharmaceutical department.”

“Wait! Last night?”

Confused, Yang Mei held Qu Zhen’s elbow and asked her explain how this came about.

“That unfilial daughter, she had already agreed to give you a position earlier? She played us like fools!”

“You didn’t fulfill your responsibility to take care of second brother as his wife. I want to tell Grandpa about this matter so you two will have to get a divorce!”

Qu Xiao listened to Shang Liqing’s criticism silently. She put the sushi on the bedside cabinet and carefully adjusted the height of the bed for Shang Yan.

She tilted her head and looked at Shang Liqing. She asked in a light tone, “What about you? As Shang Yan’s sister, have you found a doctor for him? Have you thought of a way to treat his legs? Have you gone to the villa every week to visit him and chat with him? Have you gone to the company to help him with his work?”
