Chapter 39 Jinqi is Going to Jail

“What do you think I want?”

Lu Jinqi picked up an iron rod and walked towards him, step by step.

Seeing this, Gu Zifeng shouted, “If you dare to touch me, you’re dead meat.” In response, the iron rod hit his body hard, causing his face to contort.

Lu Jinqi tilted her head, she still felt that it was not enough. So, she swung the rod again and knocked him to the ground. In the end, she squatted down and poked his face with the iron rod.

She smiled faintly, “Do you still want to play?”.

Gu Zifeng felt that his internal organs were in pain. He looked up slowly with hatred in his eyes.

“The Gu family won’t let this go.”

Hearing that, Lu Jinqi sneered. She playfully replied, “The Gu family keeps wanting to get close to me. Are you guys for real?”

Gu Zifeng was confused. She thought she was referring to Gu Ning.

“What? Gu Yichen didn’t tell you what happened to him?” Lu Jinqi said with interest, but her eyes were cold.

Suddenly, Gu Zifeng remembered what Gu Yichen had said not long ago. His men had been beaten up by a woman, and he himself had almost been beaten up. This woman was Lu Jinqi.

Seeing this expression, Lu jinqi raised her eyebrows in defiance. She was filled with bouts of hatred for this man ruining her day. “It seems like you remember now.”

Gu Zifeng clenched one of his hands tightly, his forehead dripping with cold sweat. With the other hand, he took out his phone and prepared to call the police.

Seeing this, Lu Jinqi chuckled. “No need for you to go through all this trouble, I’ll do it myself.” As she spoke, she decisively called the police in front of them.

The police arrived very quickly. Seeing the scattered metal rods and moaning men, they quickly sent people to send them to the hospital, while Lu Jinqi was brought back to the police station.

“Did you call the police? Tell me what happened.”

The two police officers sat opposite her and asked.

Lu Jinqi sat comfortable, as though this was not the police station. She looked like the man questioning her and replied, “Yes, I called the police. They wanted to beat me up, but I could only defend myself.”

Hearing her words, the two police officers’ lips twitched. This was the first time they had seen someone take the initiative to call the police after beating someone up. However, they also looked at the surveillance footage. Those people were indeed targeting the girl, but they did not expect the girl’s combat ability to be off the charts. She looked like she easily beaten them up.

Thinking of the results of the examination that had just been sent over, the two of them looked at each other. This self-defense skill that the girl possessed was almost fatal. “Do you know how serious those people’s injuries are?”

Lu Jinqi crossed her legs and crossed her hands. She rolled her eyes and looked at the two of them.

“It’s not that deadly.”

The two police officers were angered by her words and laughed. ‘Not deadly?’

At that moment, a middle-aged woman with curly hair walked in, followed by the deputy chief.

“Where’s the girl who beat up my son?” When the police officers saw Chief Zhang walk in with a woman, they knew that this person’s identity was not ordinary. They could not help but worry for the girl.

Lu Jinqi saw the woman and immediately knew who she was. She clicked her tongue. “Here.”

The woman looked towards the voice and was shocked by the girl’s face. Then, her face was filled with disgust.

“You’re the one who hit my son. You should arrest someone like her, Chief Zhang.”

The woman glanced at her and said coldly to the man behind her.

“What you said makes sense,” Chief Zhang smiled apologetically and nodded repeatedly at the woman’s suggestion.

When the two policemen who were interrogating Lu Jinqi heard this, they looked at Chief Zhang in disbelief and defended her.

“Chief Zhang, according to the surveillance footage, Gu Zifeng led people to follow her and then tried to molest her. That’s why she defended herself.”

When the policeman said this, he could not help but glance at Lu Jinqi worriedly. If this girl did not have the ability to protect herself, the different outcome would have led to worse things

When the woman heard this, she was instantly filled with anger. “How could she be worthy? With my son’s status, there are all kinds of girls after him. I suspect that she deliberately seduced my son…”

Before she could finish her sentence, she was kicked to the ground by Lu Jinqi.

Everyone saw the insolence in her eyes. The corners of her lips curled into a cold smile as she said to the woman, “I don’t think you want to experience the consequences of spouting nonsense like that.” Then, she continued, “Your son’s ugly look is not even worth a glance.”

The meaning in her words was self-evident.

Hearing her words, a few policemen at the side lowered their heads to stifle their laughter.

“Chief Zhang, she even hit someone at the police station. I hope you can give me an answer to this matter.”

The woman got up and gritted her teeth as she stared at her.

Chief Zhang did not expect such a thing to happen. His face instantly darkened, and he immediately agreed. “Don’t worry, I won’t let this kind of person off.”

Chi Yan was originally here to pick up his cousin who was racing on the street when he suddenly heard a familiar voice. Following the voice, he saw Lu Jinqi kicking someone arrogantly. He exclaimed in his heart in admiration.

When he heard the woman’s voice behind him, he narrowed his eyes. ‘Oh no, isn’t she park of the Gu family?’

He saw what went on and immediately called Si Jingyun.

The moment the call connected, he could not hold it in. “Master Jing, Jinqi is in the police center. Come quickly.”

Si Jingyun’s gaze turned cold when he heard the news. He tightened his grip on the phone. “Watch her closely.”

After hanging up, Chi Yan walked over and pretended to be surprised.

“Jinqi, why are you here?”

His voice suddenly rang out, and everyone’s eyes fell on him. When they saw him, the woman frowned. Chi Yan knew this lady.

Chief Zhang felt his vision darken. He could not afford to offend the Chi family as well.

When Lu Jinqi saw him, she raised an eyebrow. “I beat up a b*stard. Care for a cup of tea?”

Chi Yan staggered. How could you make a fight sound so justified?

The middle-aged woman could not hold it in any longer and shouted angrily, “Chief Zhang, I want this on her record and for her to be locked up.”

Chief Zhang wiped the sweat off his forehead and looked at Chi Yan. He was instantly caught in a dilemma. “Mrs. Gu, you plan on ruining her life? Have you thought about the consequences of that?” Chi Yan said slowly.

Then, the middle-aged woman hesitated for a moment. Could it be that this girl had some sort of conglomerate background? However, when she thought about her family’s cooperation with the higher-ups, her eyes became arrogant again.

“What consequences could there be? Chief Zhang, why aren’t you doing anything?”

Chief Zhang waved his hand and ordered the two of them to handcuff Lu Jinqi.

Chi Yan shrugged in response. ‘Well I’ve already reminded them that the Gu family will be courting death if they do this.’

“S-stop,” the middle-aged man said breathlessly, sweat dripping down his face.

Luckily, they made it in time. If Master Jing came and saw them handcuffing her, there would be no way to end this.

Chief Zhang’s heart skipped a beat when he saw the man that just entered, and he hurriedly went forward. “CEO Li, what are you doing here?”

Jingyun glared at him fiercely, then went straight forward and smiled at Lu Jinqi. “I’m sorry for being late, Ms Lu. I hope you don’t mind.”

Lu Jinqi raised her eyebrows and smiled faintly. “What if I do mind?”

“Then I’ll make sure whoever is annoying you will be dealt with.”

A deep voice filled with coldness rang out. The middle-aged woman’s eyes instantly widened, her body stiffened, and her face gradually turned ugly.

When Chi Yan heard this voice, he whistled.

Everyone turned their heads to look and saw a man wearing a black coat walking towards them with slender steps. With each step, the pressure around heightened. When they saw who it was, two of them widened their eyes in shock. The middle-aged woman’s face turned white in an instant, while Chief Zhang’s body started to tremble.

It was Si Jingyun!

Lu Jinqi looked at him and paused for a moment. The man’s usually unfocused black eyes were filled with hostility and unreadable emotions. His thin lips were tightly pursed in frustration.

Si Jingyun’s gaze swept over those people indifferently, with a terrifying aggressiveness.
