Chapter 33 Jinqi the Racer

Lu Jinqi pursed her lips and looked at him with a faint smile. Her slender wrist moved slightly. “Why, do you want to know?”

When Qi Ye saw this, he thought of Lu Jinqi’s ruthlessness this morning and felt his face ache.

“I don’t want to know.”

The people beside him looked at Qi Ye in surprise. They sighed in their hearts. This was the first time they had seen Qi Ye act like this.

Suddenly, a voice interrupted them.

“It’s such a lively place. Oh, and Master Jing is here too?”

They looked towards the source of the voice and saw a man in a suit with a woman in white beside him.

Lu Jinqi glanced at him and sneered. He lowered his eyes when their gazes locked.

When Qi Ye saw him, his face darkened and a mocking look appeared in his eyes.

“I was wondering who it was. So it’s the famous President Gu.”

When the others heard this, they burst out laughing. There was nothing wrong with what Qi Ye had said, and yet.

Everyone knew that Gu Zifeng drank, slept with others, gambled, and drank all kinds of things! He even had the audacity to compare himself with Master Jing. He was a truly shameless man.

Gu Zifeng’s face instantly turned ugly. He looked at him fiercely and said with a cold smirk.

“Qi Ye, you really are a good and loyal dog.”

The crowd instantly fell silent. They sneaked a glance at the silent Si Jingyun, then at Qi Ye. When they realized that his expression had changed, they heaved a sigh of relief.

“Brother, can pig’s like that enter clubs like these as well?” Lu Jinqi asked nonchalantly, looking at someone beside her.

When Si Jingyun heard this, he smiled and easily replied, “No.”

Lu jinqi hummed meaningfully and said, “Then, where did such a pig come from?”

Everyone present was smart enough to understand the underlying meaning beneath her words. It was obvious that she was mocking Gu Zifeng.

When Gu Zifeng heard what she said, he looked over and was stunned by the girl’s exquisite face. An evil thought flashed through his mind.

“Master Jing, your sister looks pretty good,” he said as she prepared to one up him.

Then, everyone saw the very person who spoke fall onto the ground! Turning to look, they saw Lu Jinqi slowly retracting her legs. They could not help but look at each other. This girl had guts!

Qi Ye chuckled softly and raised his hand to pat her twice.

If she does not get along with someone, she would just do whatever she wishes. This was a very Lu Jinqi mode of communication.

Si Jingyun slightly bent his fingers and knocked on the girl’s head. Slowly, he said, “Jinny, next time, let me do something too. I need a chance to show off as well, you know?”

The man’s hoarse voice sounded low, and inexplicably sexy. Lu Jinqi’s eyes were raised, and the corners of her lips curled up.

“You were too slow.”

Hearing this, Si Jingyun’s lips curled up. “So you’re just doubting my ability, huh?”

The last huh did not have any clear meaning, but it was extremely seductive.

Seeing the girl in front of him remain silent, Si Jingyun chuckled and stopped flirting with her.

“I heard that Master Jing has a piece of land in the south of the city. Do you want to bet on it?” Gu Zifeng looked at the man and asked.

Si Jingyun’s eyes were cold. “Bet on what?”

Gu Zifeng rolled his eyes from the menacing aura. “The club has a racing track, so let’s race. It’ll be thrilling and exciting for the both of

us.”

Soon, the group arrived at the racing track.

Gu Zifeng gave what he thought was the most charming smile he had. “It’s a total of three laps. Whoever completes the laps first wins.”

Lu Jinqi scanned the entire venue. The roads were full of twists and turns, and the simulated mountain curves were even more treacherous. The owner of this club must have been an interesting human being to have thought about something like this. Qi Ye casually leaned against the railing, his voice slightly cold.

“Gu Zifeng, Master Jing is betting on the land, what about you?”

Gu Zifeng shrugged nonchalantly and smiled. “I’m fine with anything.”

Si Jingyun looked at the girl and asked, “Jinny, do you want to play?”

Lu Jinqi raised her eyebrows and looked over. She asked nonchalantly, “Aren’t you afraid that I’ll lose your land?”

Immediately after, Si Jingyun’s red lips curved into a loving and gentle smile.

“It’s just a piece of land. As long as you get to have fun, I’m okay with that.”

Since he had already said that, Lu Jinqi nodded.

Qi Ye and the others suddenly felt their teeth ache and unconsciously rubbed their faces.

Gu Zifeng did not expect that Si Jingyun would use such an important competition to coax people. After all, the land in the south of the city was worth billions.

He could not help but taunt them, “Master Jing, are you sure you want a woman to compete with me?”

Si Jingyun’s clear and cold eyes were indifferent as he said in a cold tone, “Jingshan Villa.”

Suddenly, Gu Zifeng’s expression faltered, but he quickly returned to normal. With a fake smile, he clapped his hands. “As expected, you knew of the house I just got.” He looked around and took a deep breath. Then, he replied, “Deal, let’s start.”

As he spoke, he walked to the side to choose a car for the race. Lu Jinqi, on the other hand, walked over slowly and randomly chose a white race car.

Seeing this, Gu Zifeng sneered and said in a mocking tone, “Kid, you don’t even know how to choose a car. It’s better for you admit defeat now.”

Lu Jinqi opened the car door and casually placed her arm on the door. She raised the corners of her eyes and exuded a menacing demeanor. Her tone was extremely arrogant when she replied. “This car should be enough to compete with someone like you.”

Gu Zifeng snorted coldly and suddenly clenched his fists.

‘You may look down on me now., but when you become my person, I’ll see how arrogant you can be.’

Qi Ye looked over worriedly. “Lu Jinqi, are you sure you can do it?”

“I’ve never driven this before,” Lu Jingi turned her head and said very honestly.

She was not wrong. Her original body had never done so. As soon as she said this, Gu Zifeng burst into laughter. “Looks like I’ll definitely get Master Jing’s land.” Seeing that the two of them were in the car and getting ready, Qi Ye said, “Why do I feel something like this has happened before?” As soon as he finished speaking, the competition officially began.

Everyone watched as the blue car rushed out, followed by the white car. Gu Zifeng looked at the car in the rearview mirror, his face full of pride. Lu Jinqi looked at the car speeding up in front of her and smiled. A sinister look appeared in her eyes.

Outside the field, Qi Ye and the others saw the white car suddenly start to speed up. That speed directly surpassed Gu Zifeng’s car and sped forward.

The first turn was ahead. When everyone thought that Lu Jinqi would slow down, the car sped up instead.

“F*ck, what’s she trying to do?”

“That’s a shape as heck turn. If it doesn’t end well, we’ll need to go and help.” Qi Ye could not help but look at the man beside him. Seeing his natural expression, he asked, “Master Jing, aren’t you worried?”

Si Jingyun looked at the white race car on the field. He clenched his hands tightly in his pocket and said calmly, “I trust her.”

His gaze was immediately attracted to the track. He saw Lu Jinqi driving the car to the bend. She sped up and completed a beautiful drift.

The car drove steadily forward, leaving Gu Zifeng far behind.

“Damn, that was an insane drift.”

“As expected, she lied when she said she didn’t know how to play.”
