Erik pondered for a moment, then turned and walked away without saying anything.
Instead of going upstairs to find Blake, he got into his Pagani and
drove away.
Yasmin was perplexed.
What a strange bunch of people.
She let out a sigh.
Since everyone wasnât happy with her and Blake being together, then they should probably just let it
go.
She went back upstairs and had just finished taking a shower and was drying her hair when Blakeâs
phone call came in.
She answered the phone with an icy tone, âHello.â
Blake sensed that something was wrong with her. He ask âWhy havenât you come over yet?â
âWhy should I go over?â
After a moment of hesitation, Blake said, âMy leg hurts a little.â
âHold on.â She put down the towel and walked to the master bedroom in her slippers.
Blake sat on the bed, his lips curling into a smile. âCome over here.â
Yasmin stopped in front of him and looked at his leg indifferently. â Where does it hurt? Do you need
me to call Dr. Sawyer over?â
âIt doesnât seem to hurt that much anymore.
Blake instantly changed the topic. âDid you finish taking a shower?â
Yasmin hummed in assent.
Uncharacteristically, Blake took a pillow and set it beside him. âDo you want to sleep here tonight?â
Yasminâs brows furrowed as she looked at him.
Blake noticed that her expression wasnât right, so he asked, âWhatâs going on? Did my mother say
something to you when she came over?â
âNo.â
âThen was it because of Giselle?â
Yasmin glanced up at him, her eyes indifferent. âNo.â
âWhatâs going on then?â
âI just felt that since we had agreed to go our separate ways, we shouldnât behave so intimately. In
the future, we shouldnât do such things as well. Apart from being married, weâre practically just
strangers.â
Blakeâs face turned grim. âYou really have a thing for Ivan, donât y
Yasmin ignored the question and said, âIâve already made up my
mind. I donât want to be in this marriage anymore, and I wouldnât look back on it as well.â
After saying that, she walked away.
Blakeâs gaze followed her as she walked out of the room, his gaze cold and menacing.
Since that day, Yasmin rarely went to see Blake.
Joel and Erik would come every day, and the people from the
company would also prepare daily reports.

Yasmin would spend her days drawing sketches in her room unless she was called upon.
After a week, Blake had recovered considerably, and Yasmin had finished drawing most of her
sketches. She could return to the studio
to work.
She gave Ivan a call and greeted, âIvan.â
Yasmin had just called out his name, and Ivan already knew what was happening. âAre you done
with the sketches?â
âYes, Iâve finished some sketches. Iâd like to know when youâre available,â Yasmin said as she
wanted to discuss the collaboration
with him.
Ivan said, âIs tomorrow alright with you then?â
âTomorrow?â
Yasmin looked at the time and said, âSure, are you free tomorrow afternoon? If so, we can make a
reservation at a restaurant and talk while we eat.â
âThatâs settled then,â Ivan said with a smile.
Yasmin was about to end the call when she saw Blake, supporte
a walker, standing at the entrance with Erik supporting him. Both their gazes were fixed on her.
Blakeâs gaze was dark and brooding.
Meanwhile, Erik looked a little smug.
Yasmin suddenly remembered what Annalise had said. She had said that if she didnât divorce Blake
soon, her father might never be released from prison.
As she recalled this, she took a deep breath and acted coquettishly to
the person on the phone, saying, âIvo.â
Yasminâs voice carried a hint of coquetry, which caused Ivan to raise his brow. He asked gently,
âWhatâs up?â
Yasmin coquettishly asked Ivan over the phone, âCan I have dessert
tomorrow?â
Erik scoffed, âI told you so, Blake. This woman is so untrustworthy. Sheâs been flirting with Ivan
behind your back.â
