"...Ring...Ring...Ri-Hello?"

"Rachel?"

"Reese!? Where are you? Why haven't you come home yet?" she asked.

"I was -- uh... occupied. I'm-I'm at the train station right now, I promise." I replied.

"Well... well, what happened? Kurt thinks you were abducted by the Warblers. He owes me fifty bucks now, come to think of it." she said. Wow, I'm gone for three days more than expected, and my best gay thinks I've been abducted by a Glee club.

"Well first of all, tell Kurt I say: PZZT! Second of all, I was with one... Warbler... over... these past... three days?" that came out more of a question.

"A Warbler? Who?" she asked. Really? There's only one Warbler that I actually like to talk to her about.

"I'll give you a hint, he's six foot two and drives me up the wall." I replied. One... two... three...

"Oh!" there you go. "Oh my God! You were with Sebastian!?" she shouted. I pulled the phone away and rung out my ear.

"Jeez, scream it out louder, why don't ya? I don't think India heard you!" I snapped into the phone.

"I'm sorry! Gosh, thank God Kurt's not home, he would've flipped if he heard me." she said. Oh yeah, Kurt.

"Hey, that's another thing! Don't you dare go blabbing this to Kurt! He'll hate me for the rest of my life!" I exclaimed.

"He won't hate you." she said.

"Are you kidding me? The Lurch almost blinded his ex! He'd ring my neck if he found out what I did." I replied. Rachel sighed on the other end.

"Reese... what exactly did you do with Sebastian?" she asked. Here comes the flashback

(The night before)

"... So one of the kids goes up to the whiteboard and draws a penis. And when he walked back in I played the Disturbia ringtone..."

"Are you serious?"

"Yeah, anyway..." if you're wondering what's going on here, I am on a date... no... not with Logan Lerman. With Sebastian; and surprisingly, I was enjoying myself. And here's something even crazier... he wasn't wearin his robot suit! We were at Breakstix, and he was telling me a funny story about a joke they played on his teacher in his freshman year.

"... he flipped out on us, and I mean flipped. He was throwing markers and screaming so loud, I-I thought Canada might hear him." I had to cover my mouth to keep myself from laughing.

"And then the Warden had to come in with three security guards just to calm him down, but we were laughing like no tomorrow. Mr. Strintski's face went red like a tomato, and he was jumping up and down like a five year old having a tantrum, and that was after he settled down."

"Oh my God!"

"Yeah, and then we all had detention for the rest of the month. Totally worth it, though." he finished.

"Oh no..." I started laughing; he was a terrible kid even way back when.

"You were awful, worse than you are now." I joked.

"Thank you... I think," I laughed again.

"You know, Sebastian, I never knew you were so interesting." I said.

"And... I never heard you genuinely laugh before." he replied. I felt myself go pink as I brushed some hair out of my face.

"Yeah it's -- um... it's been a while." I said. Sebastian reached over the table and took my hand.

"Maybe it's time you started again. It works for you." he said with a genuine smile.

"Thanks..."

"We um -- we went to a park next and -- uh... I guess that spark just kind of... sparkled."

"Are we even allowed to be here?" I asked in a whisper.

"It's a public park, they don't exactly have the secret service lurking around." he replied.

"Okay, but I got a question: why are you taking me to a park at this time of night?" I asked him.

"Because, parks are fun, and I know you love fun." he replied with a smug grin.

"How do you know I love fun?" I asked.

"You agreed to go out with me, didn't you?" he replied. I plucked the back of his head.

"Saw that coming." he said.

"You deserved it." I replied.

"I'm not arguing there." he said, then we looked at each other with a sense of deja vu, creepy. I just shook my head at him and giggled.

"What's so funny?" he asked.

"You, the fact that your hair isn't suffocating with all the gel you usually put in it. It looks really good." I replied.

"Thank you, you look really nice in dresses." he replied.

"Thank you, I try." I replied. We continued walking through the park until we came to a swing set.

"Oh, hey! Come on! Let's be kids again." I said.

"We are kids, though." he replied.

"I mean kids who like to have fun at playgrounds!" I said and hopped on one of the swings.

"Come on! push me!" I started giggling like a little girl on Christmas, then Sebastian ran up with a goofy smile on his face and started pushing me.

"You know what I've learned about you? you're like a big kid in a woman's body... and I mean about everything." he said.

"Is that a good thing?" I asked him.

"It's a cute thing." he replied. All of the sudden, the swing stopped short, and I was spun around to face his handsome green eyes.

"Hi."

"Hi."

"You alright?" I asked.

"Yeah, I just wanted to do this." he whispered, his face was only inches from mine and the warmth of his breath lit me up like a candle. A rush of heat started in my chest and slowly spread throughout my body, reaching every last limb. I could feel his eyes watching my every move, from the slight twitch of my lip to the way my shoulders rose and fell as I breathed. He leaned forward slowly, his hand brushing the hair out of my face and in an instant his lips were on mine. He pulled me onto my feet from the swing, and pushed me against the swing railing, closing whatever shrivel of space was left between us. His lips were soft and warm, arms gently wrapping around my waist, and my hands placed on his cheeks.

"Hey..." I pulled away after maybe a minute or two, we were panting hard from lack of air.

"Yeah, what?" he asked and kept kissing me.

"Do you want to get out of here?" I asked him. Sebastian's eyes sparkled with lust and excitement at my words... he liked what I was thinking.

"And then the story comes to a close this morning, when I woke up..."

I finished brushing my hair, then noticed a dark yellow bruise on my neck. I had to snicker.

"Thanks a lot, Smythe." I mumbled as I started applying concealer to my neck. I'm not going to lie though, the guy does know how to make his mark... in more ways than one.

When I finished, I put away my small little make-up kit in my purse, pulled my sweater back on, and crossed through the bedroom to see Sebastian, still snoozing away in the bed. I smiled and walked around, leaning down and placing a kiss on his cheek. I know you all probably think I'm heartless for leaving him, but my train was leaving in an hour, and I did leave a note. It went a little something like this.

'Sebastian,

I want to thank you for the wonderful night, and when you wake up this morning, I'll be gone and back to New York. I'm sorry I couldn't say good morning to your face, but I didn't want to wake you, you look very... peaceful when you sleep; and it's sweet. I want you to know that I hope we can do this again very, very soon.

Until I see you again, xoxo,

Yours Truly,

Reese,'

"... And now I'm here." I finished the story.

"Wow... holy crap! You slept with Sebastian!?" she shouted.

"Shhhuuush! Holy God, you want all of Bushwick to hear you?" I asked.

"Well, can you blame me? My bestfriend got into bed with a boy whom she's been calling Horrid Hairgel for a year now!" she replied.

"Do you have to say it like that? Can't you put that into more delicate terms?" I asked.

"Alright fine, my bestfriend made love to her enemy." she said with sass.

"Very funny, huh? Listen can you -- can you come and pick me up at the train station? I'll be there by eleven this morning." I said.

"Yeah, I'll come pick you up. Can I ask you a question though?" she asked.

"Go ahead."

"Would you really go on a date with Sebastian again?" she asked. I took a minute to think, then nodded.

"Yeah, I guess I would. See you later." and with that, I hung up, just as my train pulled into the station.

When I sat down in my seat, my phone buzzed.

From: Horrid Hairgel

I got ur note this morning, I'm sad I didn't get a chance to say goodbye.
