Samantha
My eyes crack open. It's still pitch black in my room. I roll onto my side and take a look at my clock to see that its barely six in the morning. I sigh in relief and crawl out of bed to go to the bathroom real quick.
Coming back, I realize the lack of tiny girlfriend in my hand when I woke up and not being in my bed either. At first my heart rate spikes, fearing that she has up and left me. I though I had gotten emotionally manipulated again.
I sigh with relief, resting my heart rate, when I see the girl pulling herself over the side of the bed only to have it jump back up again when I see her fall down on her hands and knees then falling over completely. I rush over and scoop up the small body. Her bare legs feel warm against my palm.
Caesar rolls onto her back and faces me. "Good... morning." she says between heavy breaths.
She's out of breath and looking a little pale. As usual Caesar has pushed herself too hard again.
"Would it kill you to ask for my help sometimes." I ask as I crawl back into bed and reach for the glass of water on my nightstand.
"Yes, it would actually." Caesar responds as she sits up and takes a sip from the cup. "Thank you."
I set the cup aside and curl back up under the blanket. While doing so, I set Caesar down in front of my face and rest my hand over her body again.
"Are you getting sick?" I ask.
The human shakes her head. "No, I think my body hasn't adjusted to my injury just yet."
I hum. "Well, take things slow." I advise like a parent does for their child. "I don't want you to hurt yourself even more."
There's the tiniest shimmer of light in Caesar's eyes. That either means she's rolled her eyes or she's happy that I care about her.
"Okay, mom."
She gave me an eye rolls. I thought to myself.
The blonde yawns and closes her eyes. For a moment I though she fell right back asleep, but Caesar opens her mouth to talk.
"It was nice waking up to see you." She says as she snuggles up against the palm of my hand. "Seeing you peacefully sleep, I wouldn't mind waking up to that every day."
My heart flutters with joy hearing such a straight forward and lovely statement. It's very on brand for Caesar to be forward in her comments and complements towards me. It's boosted my self-esteem greatly this last month and half. I wish I had Caesar sooner in my life, but the gods work in mysterious ways and maybe now was the right time for her to be with me.
"What a bold thing to say at 6:00 in the morning." I respond with a cheeky smile plucking at my lips.
"I don't think it's bold." She says with a soft yawn. "I just think you're beautiful."
Caesar's breathing slows down to a gentle rythm and she dozes back to sleep. My smile softens and I lean into plant a kiss on Caesar's forehead then lay my own head down.
The feeling of Caesar's body rising and falling under the palm of my hand is heartwarming. She's so soft, and small, and can be a complete jerk at times, but my heart yearns for her to be by my side.
I use my index finger to brush out the lose strands of hair that dangles in front of her face and scoot myself closer to her, my nose inches from her body then close my eyes to sleep a little longer.
When I wake up again, the bright sun's rays shine through the slits in the blinds, lighting the room with a warm hue. Or maybe I'm imagining the orange radiating glow. I curl my fingers inward, grabbing the pillow tightly.
Taking in a deep breath, feeling my lungs fill with air, stretching out my back slightly. Then I exhale, letting the weight of my back push out the air.
Realization slowly seeps into my brain. Again, Caesar is not in my now tightened fist. Rather then panicking this time, I look around for her and it doesn't take long to spot her.
Caesar, sitting criss-cross a little higher up on the pillow, with her chin in her hand, half-lidded blue eyes, and a barely visible smile.
"Good morning... again." She says.
"Mm." I close my eyes and snuggle up closer to the feathery pillow. "Good morning."
The warm sun rays, the barely audible sound of birds chirping, and the rhythmic motions of my chest rising and falling, nearly makes me fall back into slumber.
A tiny hand resting on the tip of my nose stops me though. I crack one eye and zero in on the blonde girl.
"Did you sleep well?" Caesar asks, running her across my nose.
I stare with a lazy eye as she does so. I could get used to this.
I inhale hard enough to feel Caesar's long blonde hair tickle my nose. I have to bite my tongue to keep myself from sneezing. To keep the nerves in my nose from ruining the beautiful morning, I pluck up the girl by the hood of her jacket and lift her up.
I roll onto my back and set the girl down on the bridge of my nose. The feeling of her smooth, small, bare legs straddling my nose, sends a wave of emotions through my nerves. A feeling that i haven't felt in a while.
"Have I ever told you how amazing your eyes are?" Caesar asks. Caesar's hand runs across my nose. It feels good to have her touch me so freely, without fear either. It's nice.
"No," I answer gently.
"Mm, they remind me of freshly baked bread. A golden brown..." She pauses and snickers a little.
"What?"
"Now that I think about it you're whole personality is warm bread." She admits.
I hum in agreement.
"You know, if I remember correctly, I heard you say I was the whole bakery. That was the first thing you said to me." I say teasingly.
"I stand by what I said." She says, crossing her arm acrsso her puffed out chest.
I bring my hand up and rub my index against her thigh. "Now were you talking about my breasts or my butt?"
Caesar quickly retracks her hand. I can see her face redden quickly. "W-well, I... it's um..."
I smile widely. "I'm just teasing."
Caesar huffs angerly and crosses her arms. I know she hates the teasing, but I can't help seeing her get flustered or upset.
"What? Did you think I'd be serious about-"
"Boobs."
I'm stopped mid-sentense. "Eh?" I feel my face redden.
Caesar smirks. "What?" She says with a cheeky tone. "Did you think I wouldn't answer?"
"No." I grumble, disappointed that my teasing has backfired.
I shouldn't be disappointed though. Caesar always answers with honesty.
Caesar leans back down, letting her body rest against the bridge of my nose, planting a kiss between my brows.
I move my fingers from her thigh up to her back, snaking my fingers under the hoodie. I run my finger from her lower back and up to her shoulder. The bandages have held up well over night so there is no need for them to be changed.
"Do your wounds still hurt?" I ask gently.
"Only when I stretch or do extensive work." She answers. "But it feels good when you touch my back... almost like the dull pain goes away instantly."
I respond with a hum as I continue to run my finger up and down her back. Caesar crosses her arms and rests her head on them then closes her eyes. I'm sure she'd fall asleep again if my stomach didn't call for food.
"We should get up soon," I say. "I don't know how much longer I can wait to eat."
"Five more minutes?" Caesar askes.
"Alright. Five more-"
The bedroom swings open violently. I jolt up which sends Caesar flying. She falls right onto my thighs.
"Good morning~!" A robust voice booms.
My gaze whips over to the man that has burst into my room so abruptly. A man in a well tailored black suit, slicked back chestnut hair and beaming forest green eyes.
"Dad!?" I squeak, quickly crossing my legs and squishing Caesar in the process. It's more to hide her then anything.
As great as it is for my Dad to be home, I'm not sure how much he'd approve of finding a human in bed with me, considering the last one was total dick.
The man comes strolling right over to me and plants himself right next to me. I have to awkwardly scoot over to give him space to do so.
I try not to make it obvious that I'm hiding, and accidentally crushing, my girlfriend between my legs. I'll have to do my best to ignore her squirming or twitching every now and then.
"How are you doing, hazelnut?" Dad says.
He's used that since my birth. Always said that I'd eat all the hazelnut chocolate before he or mom could get to it.
"Good," I say.
He leans over and plants a kiss on of my head. "I'm sorry I missed your birthday and bailing on dinner the other day." He says with sincereness. "Work has been keeping me chained down with all these deals and plans."
I relax a little and let my body rest against his. "It's okay. I know you're trying at least."
Dad has always tried his best to be there for me. He's worked long hours to get to where he was. Believe it or not we weren't always rich. Mom was in college debt and Dad was trying to get his business off the ground. He worked early mornings and long nights for years before he finally made a break through on my eighth birthday.
Once Dad's business had taken off, he'd become swamped in work. So it was mom and I for a few years. And then... mom got a call and left.
She hasn't come back since. Only the occasional letter.
I feel the anxious squirming between my legs. A tiny arm pops out between my legs then digs into the chubby skin. Out pops Caesar's up half. She has an annoyed look in her eyes as she asks for some help. But she's going to get the opposite of help from me.
My body tenses and I glance over at dad who happens to be looking around the room for a second.
I use a finger to push Caesar back in between the chubby muscles, mouthing sorry while I do so.
"Wait-" She's cut off when the muscles envelope her once again.
I try not to look suspicious when Dad turns his attention back towards me.
Dad rubs my arm and gives me a comforting squeeze. "Good news though. Our deal with Del Leonardo has gone through and I've left the rest of the heavy lifting to my vice president and assistants. So," He pops off the bed and claps his hands together with giant grin. "You're stuck with me for a few months!"
I'd jump for joy. I would, but with this certain set of circumstances I'm in? I can't.
"Good," I say. "Cause you owe me a daddy daughter dinner."
Yes, we still do those. No you're not allowed to judge.
Dad chuckles looking at me. His joyful expression sinks into thoughtfulness.
I pull my legs closer to my chest. "What is it?"
"Well, usually you're more cheerful to see me. So it should be me asking you what is it?" Dad says. He crosses his arms and gives me that look of what's going on.
"O-oh, nothing." I say quickly. "I just had a rough night sleeping, that's all."
Dad raises a well kept brow. "Is that new human causing you trouble? I'll have her sent back."
My eyes widen. I want to pop out of bed in protest, but it wouldn't look good for Caesar. "W-what? No. NO. She hasn't," She has caused some trouble, but we're working that out. "Caesar's been good for the most part. She's just needed time to adjust."
Dad's eyes narrow. This is the look I get when he wants me to crack under the pressure. Luckily, just like Dad had barged in the room at impecable timing, Kyla comes in time to save me.
The knock is loud enough to break Dad's stare. Kyla is leaning against the door frame and looking like she's been awake for some time now.
"Am I interupting something?" She asks.
Dad stares at Kyla in bewilderment. He turns to me with his thumb pointing over his shoulder. "You didn't tell me you made up with Kyla?"
I smile awkwardly. "Suprise."
Dad walks over to Kyla and gives the redhead a big hug, a smile beaming like a ray of sun his face. "It's good to see you, Kyla!"
"It's good to see you too, Uncle Markus." She responds, although a little taken back by the hug, but gives into the warm embrace.
The two exit the room chatting about wanting to catch up for a bit. Kyla gives me a wink knowing that's she's saved me from Dad's evil stare.
I breathe a sigh of relief and release the tention in my legs, letting Caesar slip between the cracks.... then suck it back in and close my leg back up, crushing Caesar again, when Dad pops his head in one last time.
"We're still going have a little chat about that new human of yours when I'm free." He says with a cheerful smile before disappearing again.
Great. I think to myself resting my chin on my knees. Now I have Dad to deal with.
A zap of pain zips through my thigh as if a nerve has been pinched. Out of pure reflex I open my legs and Caesar free falls a short distance, landing on my pelvis.
She begins to side backwards towards-
All the alarms in my head are going off and I quickly pluck the human off such a sensitive area.
I set the girl down on my knee. "Sorry."
Caesar looks at me an annoyance. I have the sneaking suspision that she wants to be mad at me, but knows that there is no point in being upset. She knows I have a good reason for what I did.
"So that's your Dad?" She says while trying to hide the annoyed tone in her voice. "He sounds like a fan of humans."
I shake my head. "Yeah... If I knew he'd be home then I wouldn't have had us sleep together."
The human cocks her head to the side and smirk crosses her lips. "Sleep together? I don't remember that happening last night."
I sit back against the bed baseboard, cross my arms, and huff. "You know what I mean."
"Hm... I don't know..." She says tapping her chin with a bemused smile. "I might need some clarification."
"Oh, you want clarification?" I say with a wicked smile on my lips.
In one swift move, I snatch my tiny girlfriend up and roll back onto my stomach. I pin Caesar to the pillow and lean in close enough that my breath blows her golden blonde hair back. Her hands are pressed against mine as if she's trying to get away.
Before she can open her mouth to protest, I lay down a kiss on her cheek that envelopes her jaw and part of her neck.
The squirming stops and Caesar embraces the kind gesture.
I pull away feeling saticfied with my actions.
"Is that enough clarification for you or do you need more?" I ask.
Caesar, with starry eyes and a light blush on her cheeks, answers. "Maybe a little more."
I snicker and kiss her again, this time our lips connect. A low hum escapes my throat. Feeling the tiny lips pressed against mine sends a feeling through my heart that I simply can't explain.
Tiny hands press against my lips giving me the hint that Caesar can't take it anymore. I let go. The raspy breathing catches my ears.
"Too... much..." She says.
I giggle. "Sorry. I got a little excited there."
I wrap my hand around the girl and we get out of bed. "Come on, we're already spent enough time in bed. It's time for breakfast."
Honestly I hope to wake up every day like this. Maybe not have my Dad bust in and interupt us or have Caesar get squished between my thighs, but being being cuddly and sweet each other sounds really nice.
But only time will tell.
AN: This chapter was so hard to write. I was excited to write this chapter but then life kept getting in the way and there were days were I couldn't write down a single word. I'm not giving up though because it's really nothing but fluff, cuddles and more intimate moments between these two from now on. Not to forget the occassional DRAMA! I will say though, I have about two and weeks of school left so the next chapter won't be out for a while! I'm all for hearing what ideas you guys have for these two or thoughts you have on the story so far. It helps, ngl.
