Chapter 16 of 23

Be There For Me

It's warm. Really warm. Like I'm wrapped up in a fluffy blanket or surrounded by big plush pillows that radiate heat, warm. There's also a clean scent, like fresh sheets coming out of the the dryer. The beating of what sounds like a low based drum vibrates through my body. It feels like I'm rising and falling with gentle and slow waves as well.

I can't remember exactly where I am, but I don't want to leave. This is heaven.

I try rolling onto my back and bump into something large, plump, and soft. I let out a soft groan and open my eyes.

"What the..." My brain can't comprehend what's in front of me.

It's too dark for me make out what it is. All I can tell is that it's a light skin color and curved. I press my hand against the soft mound. The thing melds perfectly between my fingers.

This seems familiar.

I continue to touch the squishy thing in front of me as my brain searches through my memories.

The pounding of the drum picks up, a sharp inhale fills the air, and I rise with the so called wave.

Its clicks like a puzzle piece now.

My own heart begins to pound and a heavy blush forms from my neck to the tips of my ears. My hand slowly pulls away as my entire body trembles with shock and embarrassment.

I remember now.

"Idiot..." I grumble slapping my palm against my forehead.

A window of light slowly seeps in through the dark crevice. I crane my neck upward and see two fingers coming down and plucking me up like I'm a stuffed animal in a claw machine.

Light consumes me for a moment, blinding me. I'm placed on something cooler, but not as soft as before. My eyes finally adjusting.

I'm back on the pillow and now see the huge face of the chestnut haired girl that is my owner supposedly.

Samantha.

"You're awake." She says gently, brushing a loose strand of hair behind her ear. It doesn't hide the dusted blush of her cheeks though.

"Y-yeah, I'm awake..." I can feel the heat rising on my face. "Erm, sorry if I made you feel uncomfortable."

"Y-you didn't." Samantha answers with a stammer.

For the first time there's awkwardness in the air. I think she was hoping I didn't acknowledge the awkward moment.

We try to look anywhere but at each other. I easily notice the girl is in her sleepware and try not to stare at the exposed cleavage.

"So... did you sleep well?" Samantha asks, trying to get rid of the awkwardness between us.

My eyes trail back up to Samantha's face. Her body radiating warmth and comfort. "Yeah, I did. It was probably the best sleep I've had in years."

Samantha hums. "I'm glad my boobs are good something other then being ogled at."

I've been caught staring... again.

I feel as though its a dig at me and try to clear things up. "Sorry! I just have a hard time-"

The giant girl giggles. It makes my heart flutter, seeing her smile and having such a sugar indusing sound escape her lips. No wonder I fell so hard for her.

"I'm just teasing, Caesar."

"Oh..." I mumble.

I let my eyes wonder the room and notice the night sky in the window. I slept the rest of the day away. I don't regret it honestly. I needed that nap so badly after all that emotional turmoil surfaced in a matter of what felt like seconds, I needed Samantha to comfort me.

A low gurgle fills the air and my stomach rumbles.

I wrap my arms around my stomach and it doesn't stop the growling monster inside my gut.

"Someone's hungry!" She says with a giggle. The giantess rolls out of bed and lets out an open palm for me to climb onto. "Let's get you something to eat."

I climb on and sit in the middle of the warm squishy hand. I fight the urge to curl up in a ball and fall back asleep again, but my mind and my stomach stop me from doing so.

Samantha walks down to the kitchen. It's been cleaned spotless. Not a single spec of dust can be spotted. And it looks like all the staff has gone home.

The girl opens the fridge and pulls out a piece of left over lasagna then pops it in the microwave. We wait for about a minute before she pulls out the plate and cuts me off a piece.

In a matter of seconds, the lasagna is inhaled and my stomach is satisfied. I let out a burp and pat my stomach while leaning back in my chair.

"That was good." I mumble.

Samantha smiles. "I'm glad, Jerome made it from scratch."

The giantess lays out an open palm for me to climb onto. I accept the invite and crawl all and we head back up to her room.

"We probably should change your bandages and clean the wounds again." Samantha advices setting me down on her desk and disappearing into the bathroom. She comes back out with the first aid kit and takes a seat.

I run my hand through my hair. "I think I need more than that." I turn my gaze towards the huge girl. "Wanna run some hot water for me?"

"I can..." Samantha looks at me with concern. "Are you sure you'll be able to wash yourself in this condition?"

I shrug. "Can't find out if I don't try."

In the bathroom, Samantha runs hot water under the sink and fills a tupperware with it. Then she grabs some soap and breaks off a piece for me to use.

I sit on the side and watch as she does this. My fingers run over the bandages that cover my entire abdomen. I can't thank Samantha enough for saving me. For everything really.

"Alright, baths ready." Samantha says as she squats down next to me. "I'll remove your bandages and you can do the rest."

My heart rate picks up. I shouldn't be nervous about this if she's already seen me naked. And compared to Samantha, not much is there. Other then that there are the hideous scars littered all over my body. It's not like she hasn't seen those either, but why do I feel so self conscious? For the first time in forever I feel small, smaller then usual, and somewhat ashamed of my body.

Two warms large hands cup themselves around me. I look up, the expression on my face must be wide, sad, puppy dog eyes because Samantha looks at me with a soft half smile and gentle eyes.

"What's wrong?" She asks.

What is wrong? I don't know. I can't figure out why I feel ashamed of my body, of myself. I've never felt this way before either. It's like I'm finally able to feel all my emotions rather than be a hard ass and carry a hate-filled heart in my chest. It's scary because I don't understand it and worse I don't know how to handle it.

"I don't know." I say weakly with a shrug.

The giant girl's left hand inches closer until I can lean into her palm and rest my head against her thumb. Samantha let's her head tilt slightly to the side and rubs the pad her thumb against my cheek.

She's so warm and gentle. My brain can't comphrend the kindness, but my heart can't stop yearning for the girl in front of me. I can feel the overwhelming emotions well up in my chest, crawling up my throat. I'm going to cry again.

I swallow hard to try and keep my emotions down. It doesn't work when Samantha asks me three simple words.

"Are you okay?"

I've always hated those three words. It wrecks even the strongest of walls that anyone puts up.

"No..." I mumble, feeling the tears well up in my eyes. The tears drip onto my pants.

An overwhelming wave of emotions come a crashing down on the last bit of defenses that have protected my heart for so long. They crumble and are washed away from the waves.

I lift my hand up and letting the drops fall into my palm. "I don't know what's wrong with me."

"Nothing is wrong with you, Caesar." I look up and the giantess's face is much closer to me now. Her hands coming closer to me, pressing against my back and sides now. "There's just a lot going on in that little beautiful head of yours."

"How do I get rid of it?" I ask, lowering my gaze.

Samantha giggles. "It's not something you can get rid of silly." She tone becomes more solum. "It's just... something you have to deal with."

My head rises when Samantha places a finger under my chin and coaxes me to look at her.

"You don't have to do it alone." The giantess adds, leaning in closer to me. Her eyes fluttering as she does so.

My eyes draw in on her red soft lips. My heart beats so hard I can hear it in my ears. It's like a rush of adrenaline.

"Caesar..." Samantha's close enough now that her warm breath washes over me. I watch as her lips move, letting gentle words slip out of her mouth. "No interruptions this time."

My heart squeezes with excitement. I lean back and brace myself this time. This has to be it. I want this to be it.

Samantha's lips press together. My eyes close and wait for the fireworks. At first I feel her lips, or at least her bottom lip, brush against mine. Samantha presses more and this time we kiss. Hard to do, yes. Uncomfortable, no. Far from it. Her lips are warm, soft, moist.

My heart is racing and my brain is drawing a blank on the feelings boiling in my stomach. All I know is that I want more of this. I want to know love and affection and all the things that come with it. I want this to be my forever.

It's not though. Not yet.

Samantha pulls away and I take a deep enough breathe in that I start to couch. I didn't realize I was holding it in.

"S-sorry..." Samantha mumbles as if she's ashamed.

"Huh?" I look at Samantha who does have that look shame on her face. "Sam..."

She shakes her head. "I'm sorry. I wanted to talk to you about the other night, but my emotions got the better of me and I couldn't..."

The other night? Why would she want to talk about the night if we both are okay with this. I didn't fight her and I definitely didn't turn away. My heart craves this and, well..., I've come to terms with it. So why should we deny it?

"Sam, I want this." I say, wholeheartedly, resting my hand on my chest as my heart thrums with excitement. "Don't you want it to?"

The girl presses her lips together in a thin line. "I do... I really do."

"Then what's wrong?" I ask.

She combs her hair back with her hands. "I don't know if it's real love."

Yeah, I get the feeling.

I rack my brain to try and make sense of what Samantha is saying. To me, it's real love. And I'm willing to try my best with her.

"Wanna figure it out together?" I ask with a small smile.

Samantha looks at me with warm twinkling eyes. She pulls me closer to her lips again. "Yes." She kisses me again.

This time the kiss isn't as long, but it's just as sweet and soft before pulling away again.

We look at each other, more comfortable and determined about our now blooming relationship.

Samantha, suddenly full of excitement, begins to kiss me all over. They're little pecks on my stomach, arms, legs, and face. Her kisses are ticklish against my skin so I can't help letting out a few giggles here and there.

It all ends with Samantha pressing her nose against my stomach. I run my hand up and down the bridge of her nose.

"You're probably the greatest thing that's happened to me in these last two months, Sam." I admit without hesitation.

Samantha hums. The deep purr of her voice vibrates through my body. "I hope to say the same thing about you, Caesar."

We cuddle for a little bit longer on the bathroom counter. The water in the bowl is probably no longer hot.

I give Samantha a little pat on the nose. "Alright, Sam, I gotta take a bath. This chlorine isn't going to wash itself out."

There's a hefty huff of air that escapes the huge girl's mouth. I do feel bad for breaking the cuddle session but I need to bathe.

"Fine," she grumbles, pulling away and letting me sit up more. "Let me get these bandages for you at least."

The nervousness from earlier rises again. This time I swallow it down and nod. I turn my back to Samantha who begins to pick at the bandage then slowly starts to unravel it.

I'm exposed when the last strip of bandages fall. I wrap my arms around my chest so protect my modesty.

I can hear a loud gulp behind me.

"I'll... I'll be nearby if you need me." Samantha says sliding me out of her palms gently.

The girl stands up to her full height and walks away, her shadow no longer looming over me. I look over my shoulder and see that she's left the room completely. I breathe a sigh of relief and get up to take off my pants and underwear.

I stick my hand in the tupperware. The water is still warm. Thank the gods.

I step in and slowly sink into the water. The fresh cuts on my back sting from the contact of the water. I'm used to it though and lay down. The water is shallow enough for me to float alittle. It's relaxing actually. I could drift back to sleep, but the dull pain keeps me awake.

A small smirk creeps up on my lips. "We kissed..." I mumble to myself. "we actually kissed this time."

My heart swells with joy. It feels so good to be loved. I think I'm going to get addicted to this feeling. Is that a bad thing? Probably. Do I deserve positive attention and love? Yes.

After some time of soaking, I stand up to get the chunk of soap that Samantha left me. I begin to wash my body. Although I shouldn't use soap to wash my hair I don't have any shampoo or conditionor. I'll have to make do with what I got.

I wash and rinse really quick then get out of the tupperware. The cold air is less then welcoming as I tip toe towards the nearby hand towel for me to use. I wrap myself up and settle into the fluffy towel.

"Hey, Sam?!" I shout as loud as possible. I wait a moment.

I know she still has the ear piece. She doesn't take it out until I'm in my house..

I can heavy drumming then the door opens. "Yes?" She spots me sitting on the counter. "Done?"

I nod.

"Alright, let me get you some clothes. I'll bandage you and we can go to bed." She says disappearing back into her room. I can hear shuffling in the other room then she comes back in with some bandages, a pair of scissors, ointment for my cuts, and some clothes.

She hands over the clothes, being a pair of royal blue boxer briefs and a hoodie to much. I have the suspicious feeling that she forgot a bra and shorts on purpose.

"Don't put on the jacket yet." She advices, although I already know that.

I pull the briefs under the towel and awkwardly wiggling them on. I turn around so my back is towards the giant. Now for the uncomfortable part. Taking off the towel.

"Uh... Sam?" I call up to the girl. She hums in response. "Could you... turn around too?" I ask.

"O-oh, yes, I can."

I watch as her shadow turns until she's facing the other way. I grip the towel and slowly off my body. I pull my hair over the left side of my shoulder so that my back is completely exposed.

"O-okay, I'm ready." I say. My body is tense though so clearly I'm not ready, but I have to deal with it.

Samantha turns back around and sets her supplies on the counter. First she takes the ointment and begins to apply it to the cuts. My back arches, trying to pull away from the cool goop.

"Did that hurt?" Samantha asks with worry.

I shake my head. "N-no. It's just cold."

"O-oh, hehe..." the giantess laughs awkwardly.

She goes back to applying the crème onto my back. Once done, she lets the crème sink in then rolls out the bandages. With a snip of the scissors she cuts off a piece and begins the wrapping process.

I hold my arms up and keep my hair out of the way as she does so. Every few turns she'll ask if it's too tight and I'll either say yes or no.

Samantha wraps the bandage one last time and sticks end to my back. I stand and do some stretching to see if any areas are restricted. I run my fingers around the bandaging. It'll hold for a few days before they have to be replaced.

Hot air washes over me and something warm presses against my back.

"Giving me a get better kiss?" I ask, turning around the the billboard face in front of me.

"Haha, yeah." She says before handing me the hoodie.

I slip it on. Ah, nice cozy. I'm starting to think it isn't a bad idea to skip the bra and pants.

I'm scooped up by warm hands and taken into the dimmly lit bedroom. Samantha pulls the blanket back and sets me down on the pillow while she crawls into the bed. I take a few steps before flopping face first in the pillow.

"AHGGGG!!" I groan loudly into the pillow. A bed. Finally. Although... I wouldn't mind going back to my previous position.

Would she let me? I shouldn't push it. Only if she's comfortable, only if she offers. It's all up to her. Not me. It's a boundary that she has that I have to respect. I'm sure there are a lot of boundaries that we'll have to set.

I turn my head to the side to see Samantha. She's got a comforting hue to her personality and a glow to her hair and eyes with the light. Gods she's beautiful.

She's laying down her stomach with her face towards me, but her eyes are closed and a gentle smile on her lips. It's still hard to believe that she's my girlfriend.

Right?

We never out right said we are a couple. We did kiss, so does that make us an item? A thing? A... whatever else there is that binds us together as a couple?

Is it too soon to say we are a couple? She's not exactly ready for a full blown relationship, so that means we aren't together, together, but what does that entail if we are just... together?

Listen, I don't know jack shit about relationships, but I know it has boundaries and love. And those two things are something we have to figure out together.

Samantha rolls over and turns off the light then turns back over to me. She rests her hand over my body and curls my fingers around me to pull me closer.

I'm placed at eye level. I can feel her breath tickling my feet. Samantha keeps her hand wrapped around me so I use her thumb as a sort of body pillow. She stares at me with ginger eyes and soft look on her face.

My heart squeezes with a burst of excitement. For once I'm excitement for what the future has in store for me now that I'm not facing the unknown alone anymore.
