"N'Bea, what's the update on the project for that new clothing store? I need that floor plan on my desk by 3 to meet my deadline," Fiat calls out to Bea, an entry level assistant to the department.

"Sorry, P'Fiat. I asked P'Don three times already since he came into the office, but he said he has it under control," Bea looks at Fiat with helplessness and he sighs. He pats her arm comfortingly.

"I'll talk to him. I'm sure the others are also requesting you for assistance. Make sure you have your lunch outside. I've been seeing you zooming around the office without a break. Get that one last thing in and sneak off. I'll handle it if they look for you," Fiat pities the girl as it was not long ago that he was in her shoes. He knows how in demand the help of the assistant is. He knows that he would have definitely lost so much weight if it was not for someone taking care of him.

"P'Fiat, you always take care of me. I would have quit already if it wasn't for you," Bea fake cries as she walks away to tend to the call for her across the office. Fiat chuckles seeing her rush down the aisle.

He shakes his head as he prepares himself to walk into the office of the well known procrastinator. His knuckles gently tap against the wooden door before he swings it open to reveal a man reclined back on his chair with his feet up on his table and arms over his face. "P'Don? Are you okay?"

The man glances over at him and groans as he drops his feet to the floor. "Don't start with me, N'Fiat. N'Bea was already down my neck about that floor plan. I got the majority done, but the company is taking to long to get back to me on the approval."

"Do you mind if I just take it, P'Don? It looks like you're exhausted. I can just try it out so you can have more time to rest," Fiat suggests. Grabbing the handed paperwork, Fiat exits the office and drops his head as he stares down at the paper work. He trudges to his desk and stretches on his chair as he prepares himself to deal with a lot of tedious work. As if knowing he needed a mental reset, his phone goes off and lights up with his favorite picture. With new formed excitement, Fiat grabs his phone and makes a beeline to the emergency escape. "Hi!"

"Hi, yourself," a beautiful chuckle blesses his ears. "How are you?"

"Let's just say you have the perfect timing when you call," Fiat smiles as he leans against the stair railing.

"Need a mental reset I guess? How about a complete recharge?" Fiat straightens himself as he processes what he is hearing.

"You're joking," Fiat is in disbelief, but is already working his way down the stairs even though he is a good seven floors up.

"Well, I had a bit of free time and thought I could use it and gamble the chance that you're available and pass by. I'm outside with a slice of cake that I bought from a cafe nearby-" Fiat is heaving the moment he throws the front door open and is leaning against his knees to hold himself up. "Love! Did you run down the stairs?"

"Too excited," Fiat huffs as Leo helps him stand. His lover looks at him with amusement and once his breathing begins to level, he smiles wide and throws his arms around him. "I love you."

"You love me or the fact that I came with cake?" Leo chuckles as he wraps his arms around Fiat's waist. It makes him laugh as well as he leans back to properly look at Leo.

"Well, the cake is definitely a deal sealer, but I think I can get my sweet fix from the delivery boy," Fiat grins and he giggles as he feels Leo's arms tighten around him. "Hey!"

"When did you get so flirty? If I had known that you had such a buttery mouth-"

"What? What would you have done?" Fiat challenges with a raised brow. Leo narrows his eyes.

"I would have learned ways to keep it sealed," Leo leans close before glancing around and pulling Fiat back inside the building and into the fire escape.

"Oi!" Fiat squeals as he looks at Leo with wide eyes as he gets cornered to the wall. He feels his heart rate rise as he watches Leo's eyes wander down his face and linger at his lips. Fiat lightly hits Leo's chest. "Leo..."

"I'm just happy," he smiles as his eyes raise back up to meet Fiat's. "Five years and I still feel like we are in our honeymoon phase."

"Tell me about it. Ann now hates to be on double dates with us," Fiat chuckles and runs his hand through the hair at Leo's nape. "Do you think we will ever get tired of it?"

"Absolutely not. I refuse," Leo exaggeratedly shakes his head. "We will be like the couple in the Notebook. Until our last breath."

"You're so cheesy," Fiat drops his head against Leo's chest and lets himself get embraces.

"But you love me," Leo sings.

"But I love you," Fiat repeats and raises to his toes as he kisses Leo's lips. A hum escapes his lover's throat and he smiles as he feels his wait get supported. The couple enjoy their brief moment together before Fiat points out he has to return back to work.

As planned, Leo has joined a start up and has increasingly helped it grow to where he is not hunched over his desk night after night. As for Fiat, he recourses himself to double major in architecture and later pursued an architectural job at a firm. There is no denying that this caused a lot of losses time and as both entered the workforce, making time for each other became difficult, but they worked it out and made it this far.

Maybe it was that time that challenged them that helped them become as strong as they are now. Maybe it was that time that made them overflow with so much love and support. Maybe it is just the way it is. Their love is unbreakable. Their love only grows stronger as the years go by.

It's a story to live by and a story that their parents like to laugh about whenever the families gather. Yes, a year and a half into their relationship, their parents wished to meet and have even gone to contact each other personally to plan their graduation celebrations together and future holidays together. It had completely taken the couple by surprise and made completely speechless.

Now that it has been a few years since, Leo and Fiat have accepted it and now never have to wonder if they have to split their time at different households for the holidays. Ann teased them that they would likely get married first out of the friend group, but they knew that P'Chan was already saving up. As for Fern, Fiat has heard more about her from Bea than from the source herself or his best friend.

Fern had visited him once to hand off a present for his parents from Ann and has somehow bumped into Bea while she was running errands. It is probably why Fiat takes extra care of Bea, or maybe it is also because of the threatening messages he receives from Fern when Bea is sick or late for a date. It makes him laugh at the turn of events.

"Why are you laughing?" He looks up from the email he was typing out to find Bea standing by his desk. He smiles and shakes his head. "Well, as glad as I am that you're in a good mood, we're you able to get that the floor plan in on time?"

"I did, thank you. I should have worked on it hands on from the start. Sorry for bothering you," Fiat apologizes.

"No worries, it's my job to help out," she smiles before biting her lip. He rolls his chair back a bit and crosses his arms as he turns to her.

"What?"

"Well, I know you aren't my direct boss, but do you think they would let me take off for a few days next weekend?" She locks her hands behind her back as she sways on her feet.

"Fern's birthday is coming up isn't it?" Fiat checks the calendar for the company schedule and purses his lips. "I think it should be fine. We would have just finished two major projects. You still have your vacation days, so they shouldn't deny you."

"Oh, thank goodness," she mumbles and Fiat sees her body relax.

"Fern will be happy to know that you are going to be with her for her birthday," Fiat smiles. "Enjoy your time and make sure to rest yourself."

"Yes, Phi. Thank you. I'll write up my request as soon as possible," Bea wais before bouncing off. Fiat smiles and shakes his head as he turns back to his monitor. Things are going amazing and he would not change anything. He is happy and he is content. There is nothing more that he could ever want and there is nothing he would want to change.

All he can say about it is, "Thank You."

*******

Surprise! Just something a little extra because I will forever be attached to this version of Leo and Fiat, as well as all of the beautiful side characters that helped keep the story going.

Unfortunately this truly is the end of Wingman Gone Wrong. However, While the written story ends here, the Leo and Fiat from this story will continue to grow and learn more about themselves as they become the amazing people they are.

See you in my next story, Why Don't You Make Me~
