I looked around for some soap that would clean the blood off of my other clothes and remembered Iâd need some for the floor and wall as wellâ¦
Never in my life did I think Iâd be reborn in another world and on top of that immediately need to cleanâ¦
Iâve watched some anime in the past, not very much and I typically didnât get the chance to finish them but I knew about the isekia genre, especially from novels as Iâd read those on the way to work.
In the series that Iâve read the main character always got some over powered abilities when they were reborn⦠but I donât think Iâve ever seen any where they were just reborn as another normal human.
I crouched down and grabbed a bottle from the shelf that looked like it could get the job done⦠I flipped it around and read the ingredients.
Wait⦠since this technically isnât my body, I wonât be allergic to what I was before.
âYesss!!â I exclaimed somewhat loudly.
I could see the lady who worked here staring at me, and again a simmer of anger boiled in me.
I quickly took a deep breath.
If I was going to live in this body, Iâd really need to control this anger. Maybe I could get a therapist⦠Iâd never seen one before but Iâve heard they can help a lot.
I looked outside and laughed. What was I saying⦠why would there be a therapist in a time like this.
I realized I had been muttering to my self the entire time as the cashier lady was staring at me weirdly.
I quickly stood up and went around the shelf where she couldnât see me as my face was burning up. How many times can one person embarrass themselves in a single day⦠As I stood there I noticed some ramen. I wasnât too sure if there was any food at home so I decided to grab it as well.
I walked up to the cashier and gave her the two soap bottles and the ramen. She looked at me suspiciously as she slowly scanned each item.
She didnât hear what I was saying right??
Thereâs no way, I donât think I was talking about the blood out loud⦠right?

My heartbeat started beating faster and faster the longer she took. It felt like she was taking forever but I think my panicking wasnât helping.
She looked at me again, and just stared at me.
I didnât know what to do⦠did she hear me?? Did she click some button to call the police and now just stalling me?
Before I did anything rash she finally said something while reaching her hand out as if she wanted something.
âMs, your card please?â
My face felt like it was going to explode with how many times Iâve blushed today but I quickly grabbed my wallet and pulled the card out.
âoH Sorry!â My voice cracked as I gave her my cardâ¦
I was so embarrassed that I just wanted to die.
She started swiping the card and it failed.
My heart froze before the lady laughed and flipped the card.
âOh my bad, I put it in wrong.â
ARE YOU TRYING TO KILL ME!! I screamed in my head as I had already been through enough scares today.
My hand slowly went to my sides and without realizing I crossed my fingersâ¦
This really had to work.
Swipe-
â¦
Ding
YESSSS IT WORKED!!
I clenched my fists and triumphantly pumped my fists in the air! Finally, something worked out!
I looked at the lady trying to hold in her laugh as she gave me my card back and the bag of stuff.
I quickly took my items and thanked her without making eye contact⦠I really wanna dieâ¦
As I walked out, the air became cooler as the sun was setting and the stars started shining. I looked up and noticed what looked like three more meteorites entering earths atmosphere. I brushed them off and continued walking. I really am getting used to this new world, ainât I?
I looked around and just as I expected, no one cared about them. It was just another ordinary Tuesdayâ¦
Wait⦠how do I know itâs Tuesday?
If I were to guess, Iâm probably slowly âadaptingâ to this body. Which would mean thatâs why I donât care about the meteorites and why I know the date⦠because Lydia knew them.
I was so deep in thought that I hadnât realized that one of the meteorites was about to crash into me until someone yelled in my direction.
I looked up and noticed this person running in my direction. He was wearing a black robe with a hood, fully hiding his identity.
So much was happening and way to quickly that I ended up falling to my knees. I was shaking violently as the heat from the meteorite was becoming more and more noticeable and my mind was filling with the memories of my death.
What was I doing? I couldnât control this body⦠my fear from the other world carried into this bodyâ¦
As I stared at the meteorite, a flashback of Jupiter came to mind, and tears started rolling down my face⦠I knew this guy was trying to help me but his screaming was only making the situation worse as my mind was remembering all of the screaming from my old world.
âIâm gonna die againâ¦â
âWHAT ARE YOU DOING!! MOVE YOU MORON!â He yelled at me as he grabbed my shoulders.
I tried to get up but I couldnât, it was as if my brain was remembering my death and was failing⦠I vomited as my body started feeling like it did when I died the first time, but this time it didnât feel as intense. My brain couldnât replicate that horrendous feeling by itself.
He turned around and stood in front of me like he was going to use his body as a shield, and right beyond him, I could see the meteorite about to crash so I tightly clenched my eyes closed.
âUhg⦠this is so annoyingâ¦â I could hear his frustrated voice as I slowly opened my eyes.
He spread his arms out as if he was going to catch the meteorite, then I could see both his arms transform, similarly to how the alien transformed his arm into a weapon. A loud sound irrupted once they met, with a huge gust of air emerging causing dust to surround us and his short white hair to whip out as his hood flew back. I could see his feet slipping as he was keeping the meteorite from hitting me. Before I knew it his feet also started transforming digging themselves into the ground to get a better footing.
The dust got so bad that I couldnât see him anymore, but I could hear a loud noise coming from his direction. It sounded almost like he was ripping the meteorite in half, and after a few seconds a loud thud irrupted and the dust dispersed. I could see him face to face, he was like a knight in shining armour from those stories.
He reached his hand out to me, his blue crystal eyes shining brightly against the moon light⦠The white of his eyes slowly coming back replacing what had been an almost blackish-purple colour⦠His hair calming down as all the dust settled and the air fully dispersed.
âYou can get up now⦠right?â
