Why would Yuri lie about that? Wait⦠is the alien lying? No⦠I donât think he would have been able to reach me if it had only been 3 days. Then why didnât he help me-
Knock* Knock* Knock*
Kenâs here! I quickly picked up the towel and placed it on Yuriâs leg. I opened the closet and grabbed a box and some clothes to cover the blood stains and soak up the blood from the floor.
âLydia!â I heard Ken shout as he continued to knock on the door.
âJUST A SECOND!â I shouted a bit rudely, but not rude enough to have him question me.
After I finished covering the blood stains as best I could, I then quickly ran to the bathroom and closed the bathtub curtains and then slowly closed the door. As I rushed to the main entrance, I waived my hand at the alien to alert him to stay still⦠wait, could he even see that?
I opened the door and Ken quickly came in and rushed to the bed. Heâs definitely been in here before with Lydia⦠I really hope he doesnât ask any questions, as I donât think Iâll be able to answer them.
âWhy did you just- never mindâ¦â Ken said as he picked up the towel and started wiping off excess blood.
âIs there anything I can do to help?â
âNo, no, just grab a chair and come over here, I can bandage your legs too.â
âOh thereâs no need to-â Before I could finish he cut me off.
âLydia! Sit down.â He said firmly, but in a way that a parent does when they are worried about you.
I quietly grabbed one of the chairs and placed it next to the bed and sat down. He started spraying something on Yuriâs leg and started wrapping it in a bandage.
âCan I ask what happened to you two⦠especially him, this is a pretty deep cut.â He sighed as he knew I wouldnât say.
âYou know Iâve told you to be careful⦠the outside has started to become worse.â
I continued to not say anything, as I didnât know what to say.
âIs he your boyfriend?â
âNO, NO, NO!â I quickly retorted as my face started reddening and I looked down.

âI hate himâ¦â
He had finished wrapping his leg and looked over at me. I could tell that he didnât exactly believe me, but itâs not like I can really tell him why I hate him, obviouslyâ¦
He moved his bag nearer to me and walked over to my table. He grabbed another chair and came back asking me to lift my leg onto it after he placed a cloth on it. I did so, and he started spraying the same thing on my leg, which stung, a LOT.
âOuch!â I gritted my teeth, there were so many scratches amplifying the pain.
âSorry, I have to put this on or you might get infected, especially since I donât know where you got theseâ¦â
He started patting my leg down with a cloth to remove the extra liquid and then started wrapping the bandage.
He didnât say anything as he lifted my other leg and repeated the same steps. I could tell that he was annoyed, but at the same time, very worried.
âI really wish you trusted me more.â He said as his head was lowered, and before I could say anything else he continued.
âI know I havenât always been there for you⦠but I really am trying.â I could see a tear roll down his face.
I honestly didnât know what to say, as I donât know anything about Ken, and almost nothing about Lydia⦠so I just tilted my head down and weakly crossed my arms.
He finished wrapping my leg and started putting his items back in the bag.
âHey⦠how long was I gone?â
âSorry?â He wiped his face with his arm and looked back up at me in confusion.
âLike⦠how many days has it been since you last saw me?â
His expression became even more confused.
âUmm⦠well probably-â before he could say we both heard a noise come from the bed.
The alien had made a weird groin noise. I hadnât even thought about it but he probably couldnât stay transformed for a long period of time.
âErk.â I quickly tried imitated the noise as best I could.
âSorry, my leg still hurts a bit.â
âOh, yeah it probably will for the next couple days.â He picked up his bag and started walking to the entrance.
I tried to get up but plopped back into the chair. I had already used up almost all of my energy, and it took too much to even try to stand.
As he opened the door and started walking out, he turned around and said, âMake sure to get plenty of rest⦠also, put him on the floor in an hour or so, he doesnât need to be taking up your bed.â
I giggled and could see a smile appear on his face before he closed the door. While I wanted to rest, I didnât have time. I quickly got up and stumbled around the bed and collapsed with my head just about above the mattress. I pulled the alien from under Yuriâs leg and told him he could transform back.
He stood in front of me and asked me if I needed him for something.
âWhatâd you mean?â I laid my had against the bed.
[Is there a reason you wanted me to transform back?]
[Did you still have a question?]
I was a little confused but I was too tired to say anything. Honestly, I didnât do nearly as much as Yuri, but for some reason I was really tired. He could tell that I was about to drift off so he asked me if he could get me something to eat.
Now that he mentions it, what happened to my ramen? Did Yuri bring my bag with him⦠wait, did he EAT MY RAMEN!?!
I jolted my head back up and murmured under my breath, âthat bastardâ¦â
I quickly covered my mouth, hoping the alien didnât hear me. I donât know why I did that. He definitely heard me, but could care less. Lydia probably swore a bit for him to show no reaction to it⦠Iâve never really swore in my life⦠I wouldnât even call someone stupid, so why did I call Yuri something so harsh⦠I just blurted it out without thinking.
I started dozing again⦠speaking of thinking, Iâm overthinking this⦠or is it Iâm thinking too much into it? Either way, it doesnât really matter after what he did⦠I donât regret saying anything.
My eyes started drifting and closing⦠I was slowly falling asleep, and as I did, I noticed the alien slowly approaching me⦠as if not to disrupt my sleep. There was something off about him though. Why⦠was he, slowly transfor-
My eyes closed, and I fell asleep.
