“Will you marry me, Seoks?” Seunghoon asked his boyfriend, who was tearing up due to the sudden surpise. Seokmin smiled happily, tears streaming down his face while nodding continuously. Seunghoon put on the ring to his now-fiance Lee Seokmin, before wrapping his arms around the latter's face and kissing him.

It was, for Seokmin, the most magical day of his life.

–

“Happy birthday Seokmin!!” People cheered around him as Seokmin stood in front with a cake. Friends and family were looking at Seokmin happily while the focus of the party was scanning the place, hoping his certain fiancé would be there.

“Make a wish Seoks.” Seokmin closed his eyes, wishing for his fiance to show up soon with a surprise before he blew the candle.

Hours passed, almost all the guests went home. Except for his friends who decided to stay and keep Seokmin company until Seunghoon shows up.

They all remained silent, which was weird because usually BooSeokSoon would be loud. But Hoshi and Seungkwan just sat in silence, looking at Seokmin who was still hoping for his fiancé to show up.

A sudden vibration of Seokmin's phone broke their thoughts. Seokmin immediately grabbed the phone, and teared up.

Seunghoon 💕

: It's over. I'm sorry, our relationship is done.

–

Seokmin cried endlessly. He tried contacting his ex but he was blocked from any social media contacts of his ex. He even went to Seunghoon's house and stayed on their porch for days before a concerned neighbor told him that his ex had moved away.

Seokmin's friends were furious and concerned at his state. Seokmin wasn't eating, he was also locked in his room all the time.

Days passed, no one had a clue on how Seokmim was; so Hoshi and Woozi decided to barge in their friend's house to check up on him. They didn't care if Seokmin gets mad, the only thing that matters is the well-being of their friend.

Hoshi looked downstairs, while Woozi headed upstairs, to Seokmin's room. The two were busy looking for their friend before Woozi screamed out Hoshi's name, signalling him to come upstairs.

“What is it bub?” Hoshi asked his bestfriend, looking worried at how Woozi just stood at the doorframe, crying and frozen at his spot.

Hoshi was immediately dumbfounded at the horrid sight they were seeing;

Seokmin laid unconsciously on the floor, covered in his own blood.

“You guys know each other?” Jaeha asked, observing her groom and the wedding groom who were staring at each other.

“Yeah, we used to be--”

“Friends at college. Seokmin was my friend during my university days.” Seunghoon cutted Seokmin off, earning a subtle glare from the latter.

Jaeha nodded, believing his fiancé. “Great then! It'll be easier to talk about the wedding considering you two already have history.” The bride cheered excitedly. Seunghoon and Seokmin awkwardly smiled as response.

Joshua noticed the uncomfortable tension between them and excused himself out. But before he left, he whispered, “I’ll wait for you outside, hmm?” to Seokmin who smiled softly at him and nodded.

Joshua muttered a 'goodbye' to Seunghoon and Jaeha before stepping out of the very uncomfortable scene.

“So... Let's discuss the wedding songs, shall we?” Jaeha started. Seokmin agreed enthusiastically, wanting the whole thing to be over soon.
