“It's settled then. You'll be going to the Philippines for the wedding in a week. Our client has paid everything including your flight, hotel room, and your foods. Just contact me or them if you need anything else.” My manager told me, spreading out the files I need to sign before going to another country.

Haesoon called my manager nonstop to make sure I would be the one singing in her client's wedding. Luckily for me though, I didn't have to worry about anything because they'll pay for my whole stay in the Philippines.

I stayed in the office for a while until finally, I finished signing every files and was sent to go home. Sungwoon said he'll be taking care of everything and all I needed to do is to take a rest and enjoy these last few days before leaving.

“YOU'RE LEAVING?!” Seungkwan exclaimed, looking at my luggage. “It's only for two weeks.” I replied before continuing to list out the things I'm gonna be packing.

“But still, why two weeks? Isn't wedding supposed to be short?” Seungkwan asked which made me look at him in confusion. “You've never planned a wedding, haven't you? It takes a long time bub, plus there's the rehearsals and of course I still have to talk with the bride and groom if they have any requests.” I answered and sat down.

Seungkwan sighed, then proceeded to ask some more questions “Whose wedding is it anyway?” I thought for a moment, “I don't know. Haesoon and Sungwoon never mentioned any names. I'll probably find out once I get to the Philippines.”

“It's a good thing though. Who knows? You might find your perfect man in another country.” He teased, smiling like an idiot. “You know I'm not up for that. I'm just there to do my job.”

He laughed, “Whatever. But can you bring me back a lumpia?” I looked at him weirdly. “What are you gonna do with a lumpia?” I asked.

“Eat it? Come on, Lumpiang Shanghai are the best!” He cheered. I rolled my eyes and paid him no more attention as I continued rummaging through my stuff, already packing out the essentials so I wouldn't forget.

“You know, I hope you do find someone in the Philippines who can take care of you and love you. I've seen the way you look at me and Vernon, and with Soonhoon.” Seungkwan suddenly said which made me surprised.

Few minutes of silence before I sighed. “I can't understand myself as well, Kwan. I'm not ready for a relationship. But sometimes, I feel jealous seeing you both so happy.”

“This trip to the Philippines is just what you need. To clear your mind and unwind. Learn from your past relationships.” Seungkwan advised. “I don't even know if I have already moved on from him.” I pouted. He laughed and hugged me.

“Forget him, okay? He's a loser who leaves a diamond for a plastic. You're way better off without that dumbass.” He whispered the last part which I can still hear. We broke off the hug then I smiled at him. “Thanks Kwan. Now can you please help me pack like what we originally planned to do?” I asked him and he just nodded.

For those who don't know, Lumpiang shanghai is a popular dish in the Philippines. It's stuffed meat on a rice paper and rolled like a sausage

(sorry I'm not good at describing stuff lmao but trust me, it's one of the best dishes in here!)
