Zenon: "You don't even know our situation, how can you decide that?"
Oh, didn't I know our situation? I knew it all too well!
Racking my brains for an excuse, I suddenly had a brainwave.
"I just consulted the ancient art of divination, and your birth charts are incompatible."
Zenon: "...You're a love consultant, and you know divination?"
"Of course, love is a mysterious and profound matter. You and this woman are not fated to be. Give up.
No matter what you do, she is destined to never develop any feelings for you."
Zenon scoffed. "Keep bluffing."
I smirked and decided to play my trump card.
"Don't believe me?
My third eye tells me that the roses you sent have already been thrown away."
Why don't you go see for yourself?"
After sending the message, I quickly shot the bouquet of roses into the trash can with a perfect three-pointer.
A moment later, Zenon walked past like a ghost.
From the corner of my eye, I saw his gaze linger on the trash can for a while.
I peeked at him as he walked away.
He was flustered. He believed it. He was walking with a limp.
