Caden's POV

"Come in!!" I  yelled as I reduced the volume of the game going on and stared at the door, waiting for her oh-so-sweet feminine curves to come running in.

"Hey, Caden!" Mackenzie said with a smile, running into my room.

"Kenzie!" I yelled excitedly as she joined me on the couch, slipping her bag from her shoulder and landing it on an empty spot.

"Well someone looks happy, compared to the last time I was here. What's up?"

"You never told me you were coming and shouldn't you be in the Bahamas? Don't tell me you dropped your place?" I asked, worried.

"No, I just took a leave. A little one. Just for a day," she smiled, revealing her white teeth I wonder where she gets from with all the cigarettes.

"Well, okay. But a leave just to see me must mean you're really head over hills for this guy!" I said, pointing to myself with a little smirk.

"Cut it out, handsome!" she yelled and poked me playfully.

"Whatever!" I said in a little laugh as she turned it to a tickle.

"Anyway, I have a reason for coming here," she said seriously and cut out the fun.

"Which is - " I trailed off as I stared at the TV screen.

"Arabella," she whispered, probably afraid of my response and I immediately turned to her.

"Don't even mention her name!" I warned with gritted teeth and stood up angrily.

"I just knew it!" she snapped with a sigh, mumbling some words to herself.

"Knew what?" I asked, returning to the couch.

"You still like her," she sighed.

"Pffffffff!!!!!" I retorted, rolling my eyes.

"Pffffffffff all you want but facts will always be facts," she stated.

"I hate her. She should rot in that fucking cell. I hope she never gets out!" I snorted.

"So you heard, huh?" she raised a brow.

"Who didn't?" I hissed.

"She needs your help," she said desperately with her rare puppy eyes.

"My help? And why would I even care? She fooled me. She fooled all of us. She lied to me. Why would I help her?"

"Because she needs you most right now," she pleaded once again.

"I seriously don't know why we're having this stupid conversation. Come on, let's get pizza!" I yelled and grabbed my keys.

"Hold it, Caden. Don't be such an ass. You know

Your black little heart still beats like mad whenever you see her face or hear her name. Don't kill those feelings!" she cried.

I took a deep breath and bent my head to the floor before looking up at her and speaking up.

"I am trying so much to hate her. To feel like killing her and just scrape her out of my mind but no matter how hard I try, her face is still in here," I said, pointing to my chest."Her smiles are registered in my memory. Her voice is like my heartbeat itself and I crave her presence every single time. I am just addicted." I sighed and frowned.

"You know, you are so lucky. You have the chance to actually be with the person you love. Look at me. I'm right here sitting in front of the person I love, the person I crushed in literally my whole career and the person my heart beats for and all he can do is tell me about his obsession over another girl. And all I can do is sit here and listen, sit here and act like i'm okay. Sit here and watch him love someone else," she sighed and let a little ball of tear gently crawl down her face.

"Look, i'm sorry," I apologized, holding her exposed arm.

"Its alright. I understand," she said and cleaned her tears with my T Shirt and I quickly withdrew my arm.

"I was gonna wear that!" I said, staring at my bare chest.

"I know!" she said and blew her catarrh in it.

Eek! Yuck!!

"On a second thought, you can keep it," I offered with a groan.

"No, I don't want it," She shook her head and returned it beside me.

I slowly held it at the tip of my fingernails and threw it at the end of the room, dusting my hands after that.

"I was saying something before you interrupted," she said as I sat back on the couch.

"Yeah continue," I smiled.

"Go to her. Go get her. Do it while you've still got the chance," she urged. "Please, Caden!"

"I can't," I replied softly.

"Why?" she cried out.

"She doesn't love me and she lied to us all. I don't even know where that girl came from! For all we know, she could be an alien," I said in my defense.

"Alien? Seriously?" she sighed and rolled her eyes.

"Yeah and I'm pretty sure she won't be so pleased to see me," I frowned.

"I need to tell you something," she spoke up.

"Spill it!"

"On the morning you left, I had a little talk with her. I'm sorry but I told her how you really felt about her. Do you know how sad she was to hear you left? She was literally devastated. A love mess! The whole mourning was a sad  tale for her. Apart from that, she told me  how she felt. She liked you. As in, likes you! She really crushed on you but she thought you hated her and never paid any attention to her because you were always with me. I guess she got it all wrong. Only if all of that were true," she said and pouted her lips, mumbling something under her breath.

"But that's not true. I - "

"I know, and that's what I explained to her. She was really disheartened and sad I never mentioned it earlier,"

"What do I now?" I asked.

"Go get your girl!" she yelled.

"How?" I asked.

"She's currently in jail and needs to be bailed out. Bail her out, take her home, you guys should have a little talk and try courting her," She smiled and gulped down a bottle of my leftover water.

"Court? Does that stuff still exist? I can just ask her out!" I yelled, laughing.

"No, court her a little and take things smooth. Make her love you more. Trust me, I'm a girl and I'd be really happy if you do these things to me," she smiled.

"Okay, okay. But I don't think I can - "

"What now!" she groaned. "Can you just go already?"

"How do I get there?" I asked.

"Oh, here's an idea. You could just lay in your bed and make a wish for the fairies to bring her to you," she said sarcastically.

"That'll work?" I asked annoyingly.

"Ugh!" she groaned. "You own an aviation company and you're asking me how to get to another place?" she reprimanded.

"I was just messing with you," I laughed.

"Whatever,"

I stood up headed to my closet.

"Where are you going?" she asked.

"To change," I replied.

"Be fast!"

"And, I'm gonna try wishing to the fairies that I can get to her. Who knows! It just might work!" I yelled, making her cringe.

I laughed loudly as I ran upstairs to my room.

Can I forgive you? I don't know. Do I hate you? Maybe not...
