Chapter Fifty Two

A Billion Dollar Mess(Completed)1,512 words~8 min read

Bella's POV

"It so great to see you," Cameron confessed as he walked over to Sally and I, his beautiful eyes assessing all edges and curves of my dress.

It was a nice large room, with a lot of space. Beautiful chandeliers hung on the ceilings and corresponded with the beautiful white walls that made it look even more spacious. It was freezing cold and it seemed more of a grand party than a usual one with booming music and strippers. Good thing I came in a black gorgeous flowing gown and black stilettos.

"Its actually an auction, but the party starts immediately after the auction," he explained.

"I see," I nodded, looking around with a smile.

"Come on, I'll show you to your table," he offered and we followed his lead.

He left in a couple of minutes and Sally and I just entertained ourselves as low and slow music was at the background, soothing our ears.

"Alright, good evening ladies and gentlemen. Welcome to the 25th anniversary of the Hecanovia group!" The speaker yelled in the microphone and everyone applauded.

"This years auction is gonna be massive! The highest bidder who wins the prize will get to chose the charity to donate. Are we all excited?" he yelled and laughed again.

"Okay, let's begin."

°°°°°°°°°°°°

"I cannot believe I'm gonna spend the whole night with you," Cameron whispered as we walked into the hotel room.

"Me too," I replied and stared into his beautiful eyes.

"And to think I won the auction," he chuckled and came closer, his nose almost touching mine.

"You deserved it," I stated and he slid his hand across my waist, grabbing me.

This should be a long night.

Flashback. At the auction.......

"As you all know, people. At the end of the auction, we have our special category in which our host and C.E.O, Mr. Cameron Kensington, is auctioned with a daring gentleman amongst the crowd. Its all for the money, and the highest bidder gets to spend a night with him, doing whatever. From withdrawing cash from his account, or you know, the main drills among the ladies," he teased and everyone laughed at his somewhat dirty joke.

"Okay, let's start. Mr. C, please come forward," he ushered in this mushy gushy tone that gave me ideas that he's gay. I thought he actually was, though..

"Okay, so who's gonna volunteer among the men? Anyone testosterone enough?" he laughed and once again, the crowd cheered as wealthy couples ordered the most expensive wines and Sally just took care of both our needs.

I must say, the party was seriously a legit one. Like a kind you see in the movies.

"I will!" A voice yelled and jerked me out of my thoughts, making me move an inch from my seat.

All faces turned back and I set my eyes on all times best, king Caden Kensington. All hail! Note the sarcasm.

What the heck was he doing there? Like...I smelled trouble already.

"Oh, we've got a hot one. Two brothers," The speaker laughed in the microphone. Ugh!

Immediately, I stood up and walked over to Caden, my gown trailing on the floor even if I held it up with both hands and tried preventing it from touching the floor, with my face trying to look as calm as possible.

"What are you doing here?" I whispered to him as I caught up and grabbed his arm.

"Don't you think I should be asking you that question?" he whispered back with anger in his voice.

I rolled my eyes. "Drop it! You're gonna make a scene!"

"No, I won't. You're wasting my time," he sighed and shrugged his hand off mine and went on ahead to the stage. I returned to my seat and heaved a sigh, preparing myself for the worst.

"Welcome, sir. A pleasure to have you. So, are you ready?" The speaker asked.

"Yeah, of course," he responded in the microphone, dashed off his charming smile and averted his gaze immediately I stared at him.

"Okay, let's start. A thousand! Do I hear a thousand for Mr. Caden?" The supposedly gay speaker yelled.

"A thousand from me!" A voice yelled. Why wasn't I surprised? It was Mackenzie. Mackenzie...

"Do I hear two thousand for Mr. Cameron?"

The atmosphere was getting hotter by the minute and I could feel my hands damp and sweaty all of a sudden.

"Five thousand!" Mackenzie yelled again.

What was she doing? Oh, she wanted to play smart. I was so in for her.

"Ten thousand! Do I hear ten thousand for Mr. Caden?"

"Fifteen thousand from me!" I yelled enthusiastically and smirked, making her to scoff angrily.

"Twenty thousand! Do I hear twenty thousand for Mr. Cameron?" he asked again and this time I braced myself up.

"Fifty thousand!" I yelled again unsparingly.

"A hundred thousand!" Mackenzie fired.

"A hundred fifty thousand!" Another lady yelled.

"Two hundred thousand!" Mackenzie shot.

"Three hundred thousand!" I yelled, not wanting to give up at all.

"Wow, the room is tensed. Do I hear three hundred fifty thousand for Mr. Caden?"

"Four hundred thousand!" Mackenzie yelled.

I was about to raise the prize when Sally tapped me in a rush, causing me to shrug before turning back to face her batting five inch long lashes, to over exaggerate..

"What?" I whispered, trying to not lose to Mackenzie.

"Do you seriously want to spend the night with Caden or Cameron?" she asked.

I thought for a second as mumbles filled the whole room.

"Cameron - I guess." I muttered.

"Then let the bid for Caden slip and bid a million for Cameron." she advised. "And you get your hot piece of peach pie!" she licked her lips and gave me a perfect wink.

I beamed.

"Anyone else? Four hundred thousand going - going - gone. Please put your hands together for her! Thank you so much ma'am for the generous donation," he yelled and ushered Caden down the stage for Mackenzie.

Now the real deal. Begins..

"Okay, for Mr. Cameron. Do I hear five hundred thousand?" he yelled.

"One million from me!" I yelled and everyone gasped, turning towards me with dropped jaws.

"Wow. She's determined," he fired hotly with widened eyes.

I smirked.

"Two million!" Mackenzie yelled in a blink and I could see something they call rage in her eyes.

"Five million!" I contrasted.

"Seven million!"

"Ten million!"

"Twenty million!"

"Fifty million!"

"Hundred million!"

I was fed up.  It was ime to shut that bitch up for good.

"One billion!" I boomed and everyone gasped once again, which caused a heavenly chorus in my head.

"One billion, going - Going - Gone! Please put your hands together for this generous donor." he said and everyone clapped, each having something to say about me in little murmurs.

Cameron came down the stage and headed to me as the music continued and the food was served in trays.

"I'm all yours," he whispered with a smirk and sat on a chair beside mine, his perfume immediately lightening up the tension I felt in me.

"I know," I mouthed and he smiled.

I stared at Mackenzie as she burned in her seat, her eyes filled with rage until she suddenly stood up and exited the hall.

"Okay, that's it for the night. We have finally come to an end of this auction. Thanks for coming and have a safe trip home. Please enjoy the dinner. Adíos!"

"Aren't you coming home?" Caden asked as he walked over to me, his hands balled into fists as he glared at Cameron.

I laughed hysterically. "I just paid a freaking billion for this golden statue and I should dump him?" I yelled, pointing at Cameron.

"We're married," he reminded.

"In front of the cameras. Please, we have a long night ahead," I sighed and stood up with Cameron.

"There are cameras all over the place. You cannot do this!" he yelled in disbelief.

"Watch me." I whispered and Cameron led me to the room. He was burning. I knew he wanted to strangle both Caden and I but he could do nothing. Absolutely nothing...

Walking into the room, I felt a string of excitement rush down in my blood. The room scented beautifully of lavender and the dark effects made it even more romantic.

It had red glow lights lined from edge to edge at the ceiling with a huge red rose at the middle of the bed.

I felt Cameron grab my waist and I smiled.

"I'm all yours," he whispered.

Caden..Caden...Caden!
