A Billion Dollar Mess(Completed)1,715 words~9 min read

Bella's POV

We stepped down from the car and Sally extended her hand to me with a smile.

"What?" I asked, raising a brow.

"Coat," she replied, still stretching her right hand to me, leaving me confused.

"I should get it off?" I quivered.

"No, you should get it on - of course you should get it off!" she screeched.

"The bikini's too revealing," I whined.

"The bikini's too revealing," she mimicked in my tone. I sighed. "Please, not here and not now. Just get that coat off. Its a party not a trip to Australia," she yelled.

I sighed and slowly got it off, revealing my skin to the whole wide world.

Everyone, come see Arabella Leah Allegra half naked!!

"Better," she smiled and got hers off too, fixing her hair back and tying it with a black scrunchie.

"Do I look okay?" I asked, insecure.

"Perfect!" she nodded. "Come on, let's go!" She added and dragged me.

The beach looked great at night. The scenery was graceful. The waves, people and little fires of gatherings. The moonlight was gorgeous and lit up the sky, the soft wind blowing through the atmosphere and giving me shivers.

Neon lights and glow tubes, not to talk of the air contaminated with alcohol, cigar and a cigar stand at one end.

"You made it and you look - gorgeous," Cameron complimented as he set his eyes on me.

"Well thanks" I blushed.

"So, what're you guys up to?" Sally asked and barged in on their little gathering.

"Nothing much. Just a little game of SHOTS!" he yelled and the others burst out laughing. His friends like his kind. They were all male and I swear those muscles were enough to lift a million barrels of wine.

"Ay, Cameron! Sexy ass you've got here!" One of them yelled to him, staring at me.

I was really uncomfortable.

"Stop it, man," he whispered and poked him a little on the stomach, making the dude to wince in pain.

"So, can we join you?" Sally asked as she poured some wine into the little glasses on the table.

"Sure. But can you take the heat? I mean, we're all men and you can't defeat us!" One of them said and triggered laughter for them all.

"Try us!" she challenged and I felt like burying her head under the sand. What the!

"Okay then. Give it a shot," he challenged with a defeating smirk.

They got the glasses all ready.

"We want the chick!" One of them demanded.

"Dude!" Cameron hit him.

Me? Bella you can do this. Bella you can do this.....I kept saying to myself.

"Its okay." I sighed after taking in a deep breath. "I'm up!" I yelled stupidly.

What the heck was I thinking?

"Are you sure?" Sally whispered in my ear, somewhat afraid for me.

"Yes, Sally. Besides, what can a little shot do to me?" I sighed and stepped up.

"Ready?" My opponent asked with a smirk.

"Yes!" I yelled.

"You are to finish the ten shots," Sally whispered to me once again.

Ten what? Why didn't she tell me that before?

"Go!" Cameron yelled and it was already too late. It was too late to back down so immediately, I started drinking. I drank like a mad woman thrown into the streets. I drank like my life depended on it because apparently, it did. Who knew, perhaps Mercedes was a pro at that.

Surprisingly, I enjoyed each sip I took better than the last. I gulped down all ten shots and had a garbage party in my stomach. I wasn't feeling really good. I was dizzy and I thought - wasted.

"She won!" I heard Sally yell in excitement.

I looked all around me. It got dizzier by the minute and I couldn't contend it anymore.

"I just let her," The guy shrugged and sipped down his last shot. I smiled in triumph.

"Shut up, lying ass!" Sally spat.

"Sa - "

That was the last thing I remembered before my face went in contact with the coarse sand.

I rubbed my head slightly, dreading the annoying headache that throbbed my head. I opened my eyes slowly and looked around. I wasn't in my hotel room. I was somewhere else.

I sat up and stared at Caden beside me, Sally on the couch, one of his friend also beside me, one with Sally on the couch, one on the floor and the last at the door, on the floor. What?

What happened here last night and where the fuck was I?

I slowly stood up from the bed, trying my best not to provoke my annoying headache, and went over to Sally.

"Sally! - Sally! Wake up!" I whispered as I tapped her angrily.

"Yeah, yeah, what?" she asked in her dreams, and just went back to snoring.

I looked around and stared at red cups all over the floor, tons and tons of bottles of alcohol on the table at the end of the room, and lots of used cigars on the floor.

What happened there last night?

I looked down and just then I realized I was still in my bikini, ON THE BED. WITH CAMERON!

Was...did...that could be happening. What!

Immediately, I ran back to the bed and wrapped the duvet around my body, securing it tightly with my hands.

"Sally!" I whispered again as I walked to the couch to wake her up, the duvet trailing down my legs.

"Sally!" I whispered and pinched her hand really hard on her shoulder.

"Ouch!" she exclaimed as she finally got up.

"What happened here last night?" I whispered, curious.

She looked around. "I - I don't remember a thing," she said and scratched her head a bit.

"Look, Sally. I woke up half naked and you're telling me you don't remember what happened here last night?" I yelled angrily.

"I don't," she shrugged.

"What if I - Sally this is really serious!" I yelled.

"Chill, please," she shrugged and tried standing up from the couch.

A white blanket was wrapped around her and she was a total mess.

"Sally, WHAT HAPPENED?" I yelled, furious.

"What's that?" Cameron asked sleepily as he woke up, bare chested and rubbing his palms against his eyes, screeching from something I think was a headache.

Mercedes's phone rang. I hurried to the table. It was Caden. I picked the call and placed the phone on my left ear, holding the blanket up with my Right hand.

"Where are you? Where have you been? I've been worried sick about you!" he yelled immediately I picked the call.

I sighed before speaking up.

"I am on my way home,"

"Where are you? Tel me, I'll come get you!" he said, worried.

"I said I'm on my way home. Cut it out!" I yelled and hung up.

"Was it Caden?" Sally asked as she put on a white dress she picked from the wardrobe.

"Yeah!" I nodded.

"What'd he want?"

"Just worried. He was just yelling," I shrugged and placed the phone back on the table.

"Worried? What is he? Your dad?" she yelled and burst out laughing.

"I don't know," I sighed and sat on the couch.

"Cameron, can you tell me exactly what happened here last night?" I asked, really worried.

"Oh - I - " he started.

"One sec!" he said and placed a hand on his mouth, the other on his tummy before running into the showers and throwing up in the sink.

"I don't feel so good," He yelled from the bathroom.

"Tell me about it," I sighed and rubbed my head a bit, my eyes squinting from the headache.

Sally got a text from her phone.

"Mercedes, please get ready. The car would be here in a few minutes,"

"Okay," I replied and joined her, searching for something to wear.

°°°°°°°°°°°°

"Oh, jeez! I am so tired!" Sally voiced weakly as we walked into my room in the hotel.

I just sighed and got my shoes off,  headed to the bathroom to change my clothes.

My eyes watered and my lips trembled in fear. I couldn't believe I unconsciously gave in to someone and lost my - that could not be happening. What happened to my promise to Ma and Pa? My life is officially ruined.

I pulled off the blue gown I had on and put on a neon green body hug with my clogs, packing my hair in a messy bun and washing my face in the sink to eradicate all suspicions from Sally.

"Mercedes, you've got an important message!" Sally yelled from the room and had me running out, worried.

"What's it?" I asked and applied some lip gloss on my lips.

"There's a party in a bar this night and guess who's invited!" she crooned excitedly.

Not again!

"Who?" I asked, turning back at her.

"You, of course!" she yelled and stood up from the bed, headed to me.

"I don't want to go. No, I can't," I shrugged and fought back the tears she forced out of my eyes.

"Why!" she roared.

"Why?" I yelled widening my eyes.

"Why?" she still asked.

"I just came out of a death trip. I can't even remember what happened last night. I have no idea if I'm still pure or not, I can't remember what substances went down my system last night and you want me to go AGAIN for the same thing that caused my misery right now. Are you sane?" I yelled angrily and almost raised my hand to hurt her physically.

"Okay, you stress too much. You need to chill out," she sighed and walked over to the table, pouring some liquor into the glass.

"I stress too much?" I yelled, finding it really hard to believe her.

She rummaged through her bag for something and brought out a white paper bag.

"What's that?" I asked, raising a brow.

"Open it and check it out," she urged and gulped down the alcohol.

I slowly opened it and didn't expect what I saw, one bit.

I gasped.
