Caden's POV

I fell to the floor. Ouch!

"Caden!" she screamed loudly and I turned. He had a knife.

Lucky him. I had only a gun.

Immediately I swept my leg through the floor and he tripped. I stood up and grabbed my gun, pulling the trigger and blasting him instantly.

"Caden!" she cried out again.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

"You shouldn't have," she whispered in a fearful tone.

"Calm down. He's not dead," I replied and sat down beside her, getting the tray and handing it over to her.

"I can feed myself," she insisted.

"And who the heck was gonna feed you?" I asked with a smirk and stood up.

"Back to square one," she mumbled under her breath and I just chuckled.

I grabbed the remote and suddenly felt something. Someone was somewhere and it was

neither the both of us.

The flowers at the edge of the room shook a bit.

Strange. We were indoors and no wind could shake a flower inside a room.

Suspicious, I walked over to the corner and kept shooting at the flower and smashing the window as little miss bad ass over there kept screaming like a lost eight year old.

I stopped the shooting and a body fell to the ground, helpless.

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!" she creamed so loud she killed my ears.

"Can you shut up!" I yelled as I ran to her and smacked my hand against her mouth.

"Y - you kill-  killed h- him," she stuttered as her eyes widened and I got my hands away.

"Can you calm down, barbie doll! He's not dead. All the bullets weren't at him. It's something I'd like to call a little fright," I replied.

"So, even one bullet wasn't at him?" she asked, terrified.

"Oh, no. At least two at his legs," I replied with a shrug.

"What?" she yelled.

"Well, he'll know where to break into next time!" I yelled in my defense.

"Do you think that's the last of them?" she asked.

"I don't know and I don't care. I'd kill any one I see, anyway," I shrugged and returned the gun to my jeans.

"I never knew you had a gun," she admitted.

"I never knew you're such a scaredy cat," I replied with a chuckle.

"No, i'm not!" she argued and hit my shoulder.

I placed my palm on her head and her temperature rose again.

"Eat up!" I urged.

"I- I don't want to. I don't have an appetite," she replied and pushed the food away.

"You know I would normally not care, but I'll just do this. Just for today. So honey, enjoy it while it still lasts," I smirked.

"Do what?" she asked.

"Move over!" I ordered and she moved a bit as I sat down beside her and grabbed the plate of spaghetti from the tray.

I rolled a portion into the fork and blew it a little with her staring at my every move.

"Open up!" I said as I moved the food to her mouth.

"I can do it," she insisted.

"But you wouldn't, so open up wide, princess," I still held the food to her mouth and she fidgeted a bit.

"I said, open up!" I ordered again.

She rolled her eyes and opened her mouth slowly and I got the spaghetti in.

"Spicy!" she screamed and I grabbed the glass of water from the tray and held it up to her mouth and she took a sip.

"Sorry," I mumbled.

"You shouldn't have ordered the food. A homemade one would do. It's too nice but a bit spicy. How expensive was it, anyway?" she asked, staring at my homemade spaghetti.

I laughed hard. Really hard. I couldn't help it.

"What's so funny?" she yelled.

I kept on laughing, holding my stomach as I tried to catch my breath.

"What's funny?" she yelled again, annoyed.

"Actually, I made the spaghetti," I blurted.

She burst out in wild laughter.

Was that  an invalid?

"I'm serious!" I yelled.

"Yeah, right," she sighed and coughed and I immediately held up the water to her mouth.

"Believe it or not, your dear hubby over here made you dinner," I settled and held up another fork of spaghetti up to her mouth.

She ate it and kept staring at me.

"What?" I asked.

"Is there poison in this?" she asked.

"What?" I yelled in disbelief.

"Is there poison in this?" she asked again.

"Hell no," I rolled my eyes.

"Why then would all mighty egotistical narcissistic Caden Carlos Kensington make dinner for his 'camera only' wife when he barely even cares if she exists?" she asked.

I stared at her.

"Is that what you think?" I asked.

She nodded.

Only if she knew what was in that head of mine.

"Okay," I shrugged.

"So, is there poison in it?" she asked again.

"Hell no!" I cried out.

She stared suspiciously before taking in the spaghetti I held up to her mouth.

After a lot of talking and arguing, she was finally done eating.

"I'll prepare the bath," I informed and went upstairs to her room.

Opening the door, I looked around. It seemed free from the criminals. I walked into the bathroom and couldn't help but laugh at her undies. She had by far the sexiest I'd seen yet.

I opened the shower and turned on the jacuzzi at a warm temperature before returning to the living room and wiping off my smile.

I got her upstairs to her room and grabbed her towel as I helped her to the shower.

"Thanks," she said as she grabbed the towel from my hand.

I shrugged.

"You can go now," she told.

"To?"

"I need to shower,"

"Then why am I going out?" I asked.

"Because i need to get my clothes off before taking a shower?" she asked.

"And how's that's problem to my absence?" I asked playfully.

"You're crazy!" she yelled and burst out laughing. "Get out!"

"Whatever," I rolled my eyes and walked away.

She seemed fun to be with. Fun to talk with.

I was going to get her. Sooner than expected.

Much, much, more sooner than expected.
