After being engaged for one year in the Fiancé era, Kat and Ryan decided to tie the knot.
During preparation, it was chaotic for Kat, having mood swings is one of them. She wants her wedding to be perfect, but everyone knows that nothing is perfect. Ryan wants a small wedding with his family and friends, so arranging the place where they are going to exchange their vows is Ryan's responsibility. While Kat's responsibility is to arrange the cake, wedding outfits for the groom and bride, and of course, how can I forget the outfits of the bridesmaid and groomsmen? Every work is divided between them.
Wedding Day : -
The sun dipped below the horizon, casting a golden glow over the beautifully adorned garden. Rows of white roses and twinkling fairy lights lined the aisle, creating an enchanting setting for Kat and Ryan's wedding. Guests murmured in awe as soft music played in the background, setting the perfect romantic ambiance.
Noah, dressed in an elegant deep blue dress, stood proudly as the maid of honor, holding Kat's bouquet while waiting for her arrival. Bridesmaids Emma, Bella, and Kendra stood beside her, dressed in blush pink gowns, their excitement evident. On the other side, Ryan stands in the middle of stage. Next to him, His best man, Sam, along with his groomsmen - Nick, John, and Carson were waiting in anticipation with him.
It was quite a difficult task for him to choose whom as his best man, but his friends are so understanding that they suggest thatâif Ryan marries, then his best man will be Sam; if Sam marries, then it must be John; if John marries, then it's Carson; if Carson marries, then it's Nick; and if Nick marries, then it will be Ryan as his best manâall things are sorted.
But for Kat, it's always been Noah; she has played a huge role in her life, being the one on whom Kat relies on the most after her family. Emma and Bella are okay with that because they know how much it means to Kat.
Ryan was as nervous as hell, thinking, what if Kat decided to back out at the last moment, thinking that he is not the one for her?
"Relax, man, my sister is not going to ditch you at the altar," Nick reassures him by patting his back.
But the moment the first notes of the bridal march played, Ryan takes a deep breath relaxing, all heads turned toward the grand entrance. Kat appeared, stunning in a flowing ivory gown adorned with intricate lace details. Her arm was linked with her elder brother, Kylie, who walked her down the aisle with a proud smile.
"You look breathtaking, Kataline and I love you so much." Kylie whispered as they walked.
"Thank you, brother and love you too" Kat said softly, her eyes locking onto Ryan's. "I can't believe this is really happening."
Tears shimmered in Ryan's eyes as he took in the sight of his bride. She is so beautiful, marrying her is the best decision of his life.
As Kat reached him, Kylie placed her hand in Ryan's.
"Take care of her," Kylie said with a teasing smile. "Or you'll have me to answer to."
Ryan chuckled while nodding his head. "Wouldn't dream of anything else."
The officiant led a heartfelt ceremony, with vows exchanged under a canopy of soft petals drifting in the evening breeze.
Kat took a deep breath, gazing into Ryan's eyes as she spoke her vows.
"Ryan, from the moment you walked into my life, you changed everything. You have been my greatest love, my best friend, my home. I vow to stand beside you in every storm and every sunshine, to support your dreams as if they were my own, and to love you fiercely, unconditionally, and endlessly. No matter where life takes us, my heart will always find its way back to you. I promise to love you, to stand beside you, and to cherish every moment we share," Kat vowed, her voice filled with emotion.
Ryan smiled, squeezing her hands before saying his vows.
"Kat, you are my light, my strength, my everything. In you, I have found a love that is boundless, a friendship that is unbreakable, and a future that is brighter than I ever imagined. I promise to be your protector, your partner, and your biggest fan. I will love you in the good days and the bad, through laughter and through tears, for all the days of our lives. You are my heart, my home, my forever. And I promise to always be your partner, your best friend, and to make you laugh even when you don't want to," Ryan responded, making Kat smile through her tears.
"Do you, Ryan Drew Carter, take Kataline Lyla River as your lawful wedded wife?" Priest, ask him.
"I do," Ryan replied.
"Do you, Kataline Layla River, take Ryan Drew Carter as your lawful wedded husband?" Priest asked Kat, "I do." Kat answered.
"With the power of God, I now announce you husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride." Priest said, and with this, Ryan lifts Kat's veil, memorising her beauty.
Their promises were sealed with a passionate kiss, met with thunderous applause and cheers from family and friends.
They pulled away from each other, laughing with happiness.
As the sun fully set, the reception began beneath a grand white tent illuminated by chandeliers and fairy lights. Kat and Ryan took the floor for their first dance as husband and wife, swaying gently to a soft melody.
"Have I told you how much breathtaking you are looking today, Mrs. Carter" He kissed her on forehead.
"Yes, hundredth times Mr. Carter" She teased him.
"Thank god, today is our wedding otherwise, I have to kill every man who is checking out my wifey shamelessly" He sighed happily
Kat hits his shoulder playfully.
"I love you, Mr. Ryan carter" Kat whispered as Ryan twirled her gracefully.
"I love you more, Mrs. Ryan Carter" Ryan countered playfully.
"Can I have a privilege to dance with my sister" Nick asks Ryan politely.
"Sure man" Ryan steps ways from floor, leaving her with Nick.
"I can't believe that you are married, feels like yesterday when you always insist me to play tea party with you but look at you know all grown up and ready to more out completely" Nick said dramatically.
"Shut up dude are you going to make me cry on my own reception?" She asked him.
She looked and Ryan was now dancing with her mother, and she was so happy.
"Nick, move it's my turn" Kylie tried to shoo him, and Nick quickly hugged her before leaving.
"What nonsense he was spreading?" He asked her
"Nothing, he is just being the goofy one, nothing else bro" She replied chuckling.
Music ended and they part their ways and sat down on dining table next to their partners.
The guests enjoyed an extravagant feast, with tables laden with gourmet delicacies and the finest drinks. Glasses clinked, laughter filled the air, and heartfelt toasts followed.
Noah stood first, raising her glass. "Kat, you've been my rock, my best friend. Seeing you this happy is everything. And Ryan, welcome to the chaos that is our family! I know you'll take care of her the way she deserves. To Kat and Ryan!"
Sam followed, grinning. "Ryan and I have been through some wild times, but this might be his biggest adventure yet! Kat, you've turned him into the luckiest guy alive. Here's to a lifetime of happiness."
Kat's uncle and aunt beamed with pride. "Our little Kat has grown into a remarkable woman. We are so happy for you both," her aunt said warmly.
Kylie took the mic next. "Kat, you will always be my little sister, but today, you've gained a whole new family. Ryan, welcome. Take care of her, or you'll be getting more than just my speeches."
Nick snatches the mic from him. "Oh, although you are my friend but one tear in my sisters' eye, I will kill you and bury your body under 6th feet and on one can find you"
Ryan gulp down his drink "Of course man"
Ryan's parents stepped forward last, his mother wiping a tear. "Ryan, you have always made us proud and today is no different. Kat, we are so happy to welcome you into our family. We love you both so much."
As the night drew to a close, Kat and Ryan bid farewell to their guests and sat down in the limousine.
They arrived at airport and step into a sleek personal jet which is of Ryan, that awaited them on the private runway.
"Are you ready for our adventure?" Ryan asked, lacing his fingers with Kat's.
She smiled, resting her head on his shoulder. "With you? Always."
Their honeymoon to India was about to begin, a journey filled with new memories and adventures as husband and wife. Holding hands, they watched the stars outside the window, their hearts full and their future bright.
Their love story was just beginning.
