It was the end of a very long week, and you couldn't wait to hang out with Raph and watch a movie. As the bell rang to end the day, you couldn't help but give a small smile. April, who happened to sit next to you, cornered you quietly once most of your classmates had left the classroom.
"Y/n, you're heading down to the lair after school right?" She asked anxiously.
"Of course I am," you snorted. "I live there, remember?" April rolled her eyes.
"Maybe you could stay with me for a couple nights? Raph isn't...erm, in a good state of mind right now." You raised an eyebrow.
"You're going I have to explain that a bit more there Ginger." You said. April sighed.
"It's his mating season-actually all of their mating seasons. Anything he feels for you is going to be 10,000 times stronger, and he can't control himself." April said. You started in surprise, but it wasn't that surprising as you thought about it more. Every animal had a mating season, you learned that in biology.
"Thanks April. I'll um...I'll remember that."
But by the end of the day, you had forgotten that. All you wanted to do was plop down in your bed, the one you shared with Raph, and snuggle up to him. And when you opened the door, it was pitch black inside.
"Raph?" You called wearily, trying to find the light switch. There wasn't an answer.
You edged into the room a little further, the door creaking behind you as it slowly shut. With that, there was no light inside.
You heard heavy breathing behind you and felt hot breath on your neck. With a shriek of terror, you swung you bag up and clocked something good. Somehow your subconscious knew that it was Raph, but it didn't stop you from getting the hell out of there. You darted out of the room, and ran out of the lair, calling April once you were on the streets. There was no way you were staying with a Raph like that. You were just going to have to wait for him to be normal again. She picked up on the first ring.
"You too, right? What happened?" April sighed, and you heard background noise that sounded like something was moving.
You just panted into the phone, unable to form a coherent word. April sighed again.
"I'll pick you up where the bus drops you off. Looks like we're going to be a full house tonight."
