When He Meets the Parents: Leo+Raph

Leo

You were waiting nervously in the kitchen waiting for Leo to text you. It was about 8 o'clock at night, and your parents didn't understand why you were so nervous. Your phone buzzed in your pocket, and you got up mutely, opening the front door for Leo.

"Hey y/n." He murmured, kissing your head. On the inside, you were happy, because Leo was wearing sweats that covered his body completely.

"Mom, Dad, this is Leo." You said nervously, as Leo sat down on the couch next to you.

"Oh...well, um, pleased to meet you?" Your mom offered hesitantly. Your dad shot you a stony glare, and you suddenly knew this wasn't going to end well.

"Well Leo, how do know our daughter? You seem a little old for her." Your dad asked. Leo gave a small cough of discomfort.

"Oh, I met her in the library one day, and we started talking. Then it just...went from there." Leo said, shrugging. You shot him a covert look, not sure your dad was going to believe the lie. And you agreed to tell the truth!

"Actually Dad, I saw Leo while I was out one night. I was curious about what he was doing, I mean you'll understand in a second, but we just started talking from there, and he's a great guy, really. I love him to death." You explained, contradicting Leo's statement.

"I love your y/n, Mr. L/n (last name). She's the best thing that ever happened to me." Leo said, giving you a soft smile.

"It seems odd that I don't know what you look like though." Your dad said crisply. Leo shifted uncomfortably next you.

"Look, Mr. L/n, before I take my hood off, I just have a couple of things to say about the...job...that I do. You see, I'm not normal, and I protect the city from evil mutants and invading aliens alike." Leo said awkwardly. Your mom let out a nervous laugh. You nudged Leo, and he took off his hood. Your mom let out an ear splitting scream, and your dad shot to his feet.

"Get out of our house, you monster!" He thundered. Leo, figuring something like this would happen, took off.

"Dad, it's not what it looks like, Leo is a great per-" You faltered as he took a step towards you, a menacing glare in his eyes.

"You let this-this thing into our house y/n." He spat. A surge of anger swelled up in your chest.

"He is not a monster! I love him, and you can't do anything about it!" You screamed. There was silence, and then-

"Fine. Fine! If you love this freak so much, go! Stay out of this house, it's Jo longer yours!" Your father raged, as you stormed up the stairs.

You came back down with a packed bag, refusing to say anything to your dad.

"Mom?" You asked quietly, your voice cracking. She looked away, and went to join your dad.

"Fine!" You seethed, storming out the door. You could stay with Leo.

Raph

You figured a surprise attack on your parents would be the best way for them to meet your boyfriend.

"Hey mom, dad, this is Raph. He's my boyfriend." You mentioned, coming up behind them as they were washing dishes.

Both turned around to see him in turtle form, and let out high-pitched screams.

"Y/n, what is that thing?!" Your dad shouted, holding your mom steady so she didn't faint.

"Actually Mr. L/n, I'm just like a normal person, other than looking like...um, this." Raph mentioned. At this your mother really did faint, nearly taking your dad down with her.

"Get out of our house!" Your dad yelled at Raph. He quickly and quietly left, waiting for you outside in the shadows.

"Y/n, if you're dating that thing, then you're no longer allowed in this house. Do you understand me?" Your dad said, taking deep breaths to calm himself.

"Answer me!" He yelled, when you didn't say anything.

"Well, you know what Dad? Or should I even call you that anymore? I love Raph, and I'm going to stay with him. Consider yourself short one daughter!" You spat, shooting him your middle finger.

You came back down the stairs, a bag packed, and peeked in the kitchen. Your dad was still glaring at you, and your mother was still passed out.

"Bye!" You said, in a cheerful voice. As you were leaving however, you saw two sets of wide eyes staring from the top of the stairs.

"Y/n? Where are you going?" It was your younger brothers.

"I'm going to stay at a friends house for now. Mommy and Daddy think I should stay there." You explained, finally close to breaking down.

"You better call us everyday." Your youngest brother said solemnly.

"I promise." You said, smiling weakly. Then you left the house for good.
