Chapter 72 - Tenacious presence of Wen Yunfeng

“Sister Gu Yan, it’s great for us to complete another order. What about go out for dinner?”

Yuan Xi, an employee in the studio, waving the drafts in her hand and shouted.

Other people in the studio followed her, igniting the atmosphere.

“Well, I have already booked a restaurant and let’s enjoy tonight.” Gu Yan replied.

People were excited about Gu Yan’s generosity, “Sister Gu Yan, you are so nice!”

Then they left the studio happily.

Gu Yan did the finishing touches and then left.

A car blocked her way when she was about to start the car and the headlights on full beam blinded her.

A man appeared in the back lighting. It was...Wen Yunfeng!

“It has been a long time since we saw each other. What does he want?”

Gu Yan locked the car subconsciously to ensure that she was safe.

“Yan, where are you going?” Wen Yunfeng looked at the people who were about to drive away.

“It’s none of your business.” Gu Yan even didn’t see him.

Wen Yunfeng felt angry since many passersby were looking at him. “How can Gu Yan treat me, a president, like that?”

“Could you get off and have a word with me?” Wen Yunfeng lowered his voice to not attract others’ attention.

“I have nothing to talk with you. We had made it clear last time and I wish you could let me off. We have divorced, OK?”

Gu Yan started the car as soon as finishing the words.

Wen Yunfeng tried to catch up Gu Yan but was dodged by her. He was unreconciled and couldn’t accept Gu Yan’s behavior and changes.

Wen Yunfeng was a person who wouldn’t stop until he achieved the goals. The dust made by Gu Yan’s car was clearer under the lights, making him angrier.

Gu Yan took a sigh of relief for she finally got rid of Wen Yunfeng.

She was deep in thought when she looked at the scenes outside the car. “Thanks for the time which made me forget all the feelings about him expect the disgust.”

People were easily fascinated by the neon lights at night. But now Gu Yan was very sober and knew that she would never turn back.

Most staff of Gu Yan’s studio arrived the restaurant and Gu Yan came to here late.

“Sister Gu Yan, is everything okay? We’ve been waiting for you for a long time.”

“I just forgot something and went back. Don’t worry and let’s enjoy the dinner.”

Gu Yan pretended that nothing had happened.

They proposed toasts to each other and became slightly drunk after a while.

“Sister Gu Yan, I admire you a lot. We all knew that you are brave and live an excellent life without men. Let me propose a toast to you.”

A person who newly graduated proposed a toast to Gu Yan with admiration in the eyes.

“Thank you. My business cannot get away from everybody’s support and hard working. It is in the trust between us that makes an achievement.”

Gu Yan said and then drank a glass of wine without hesitation.

“Well, enjoy yourself and I am going to the restroom.” Gu Yan was a little bit drunk. She couldn’t recover herself when she was standing up but refused others who wanted to help her.

Gu Yan held the wall and found the restroom staggeringly.

A man was behind her unexpectedly when she was just washing her hands and looking at the mirror.

Gu Yan was astonished and sobered.

“God! What are you doing here?” Gu Yan tried to comfort herself.

Wen Yunfeng walked to Gu Yan with twisted smile.

“Look at you. You really changed a lot and even drink.”

Hearing Wen Yunfeng’s words, Gu Yan felt disgusted.

“You are so brazen-faced and should tail after me. You really surprised me.”

“Gu Yan! You are an ungrateful wretch!” Wen Yunfeng grabbed Gu Yan’s arms against the wall.

“Ouch...” Gu Yan was really hurting and frowned.

“Does it hurt? Well, I would let you go if you remarry me.” Wen Yunfeng lost his mind.

Gu Yan was scared of the man who was in grim-looking and full of the desire of destroying her in his eyes.

“Go to hell!” Gu Yan revolted desperately.

“Well, you asked for it.” Wen Yunfeng changed his countenance, carried Gu Yan and then went out.

The people with Gu Yan didn’t notice what happened here and didn’t know that Gu Yan was in danger at this time.

“What the hell are you doing! Just let me go!” Gu Yan was too drunk to struggle.

Wen Yunfeng pushed Gu Yan into the car and locked the door without any words.

Then he started the car and drove to the hotel.

Gu Yan was controlled in the passenger seat and felt scared and hopeless when she was away from her colleagues.

After they went into the hotel, Wen Yunfeng thrown Gu Yan on the bed and tore her clothes.

“We never had sex since we were couple. What about experiencing it today? You should give birth to a baby for me.”

Wen Yunfeng’s eyes were full of possessiveness, which made Gu Yan more panic.

“Wen Yunfeng, please calm down. Do you know what are you doing?” Gu Yan was sobered and saw his brazenness completely.

“I certainly know! Why can’t you give birth to a baby for me since you can do it for Mo Yichen. You even went to your son’s banquet. You really changed a lot, Gu Yan!”

“What?” Gu Yan stopped suddenly, “My son?”
