Chapter 104 - It is so wired

Gu Yan and Wen Yunfeng were sitting in the car. She remained quiet because the incident happened just now was suspicious. Besides, she had nothing to say to Wen Yunfeng. So, she looked outside all the time.

However, Wen Yunfeng tried to talk with her so that she could be pleased and finally got back to him.

Wen Yunfeng was about to send Gu Yan to his home since he had no idea about Gu Yan’s address. But he wanted to leave a good impression to her, so he asked gently.

“Xiao Yan, don’t worry. I will handle it. Do you want to go home now? Let me take you home, OK?”

Gu Yan was in a daze. As he asked, she was conscious. She answered quickly.

“Could you send me to Manla’s home? Thank you!”

Gu Yan didn’t care about what Wen Yunfeng said since she had nothing to do with him. In addition, she hadn’t figured out the incident yet, so she didn’t believe him at all.

It sounded like Gu Yan was taking advice from Wen Yunfeng, but she was asking him to do so actually. She still looked outside as she answered without looking at Wen Yunfeng.

Wen Yunfeng thought that Gu Yan was frightened and wanted to talk to her best friend. Given the sisterhood between them, he didn’t reject and answered gently.

“No problem.”

In fact, Wen Yunfeng was a bit angry about Gu Yan. She was kind of standoffish. “What does she want since I treat her well like that? Look, I will punish you when you return.”

Manla knew that there must be something happened to Gu Yan. She held Gu Yan’s hands and invited her into the room quickly. Then she asked her after they sat on the sofa.

“Tell me what happened today?”

Gu Yan told Manla what happened without hesitation. Also, she told her about her assumptions.
