I couldn't stop the tears from falling from my eyes anymore, each drop which was escaping from my eyes is the witness of my pain which I was holding back a few minutes ago as I don't want Cabir Anna to see me in a pitiful state.

Why did it have to hurt me so much, just by imagining how cruelly my family has insulted my husband just because he loves me?

Just by picturing it, made me feeling so painful, then how could my Elli had endured it when my family humiliated him. I am damn sure, he felt miserable and distraught at that moment.

Pondering about it made my chest ache for him. The CC camera recording flashed in front of my eyes making me feel more regret at my foolish decision to make him a love sick puppy for me but I didn't know that my Elli had already became one for me a long back ago.

Hearing a feminine voice, I looked up with teary eyes and saw a girl who looks like a teenager was staring at me with concern. I stared at her back questioningly...

"Your phone was keep on ringing for the last half an hour. Could you please respond to it as it might be an emergency call for you"

I wiped my tears away with the back of my hand, I just nodded at her distractingly and looked at the phone which was on the table blaring loudly. I was about to decline the call as I was not in a state to attend any call, however, I halted, when my eyes caught the caller ID.

Shakily, I held the phone and swiped up to attend the call...

"Why the hell you are not attending my calls!!!!!!!"

A shrill voice boomed on the other side yet, like before I didn't flinched at his fierce voice instead my throat tightened as I struggled to speak, the words choked back by a tidal wave of emotion. Hot tears stung on my cheeks, leaving a salty trail in their way. My body trembled uncontrollably, as my every sob threatened to shatter my fragile composure.

"Speak up Dammit!!! Where did you went without informing me!!!" He enraged at me.

However, like before, I didn't get scared by him instead I felt loved and cared by him as I realized that behind his anger there is always a concern and worry for me. Gathering all my senses..

"I..I...I went out" I muttered slowly as a few tears rolled out from my eyes.

"I know you went out but I am asking where" He irked on the other end.

"Cof-fee" I stuttered not able to speak properly.

"Huff" He ended the call.

I stared at the phone with welled up eyes...

Hearing his voice I turned around, only to see him blazing in rage yet, I didn't care and let my tears fall freely from eyes in front him as I stared back at him with full of love.

Seeing my teary face, in an instant his face turned into warm and I without caring about my surroundings, I hugged him burying my face in his chest while silently weeping.

"what happened my giggling baby, why are you crying? Who made those precious tears let out from your tears?" He questioned me softly while holding me tenderly in his arms.

"No one" I cried while rubbing my tears on his shirt.

"Then.." He was about to query yet got interrupted

"Miss...bill"

I raised my head and looked up at the waiter who was holding the bill. Before I took it, My Elli grabbed it and saw the bill and frowned, though he paid the bill silently without saying anything.

Author pov:

All the while to the Sastry mansion, Hasna was sobbing silently as she couldn't able to endure the pain her husband alone faced without letting her suffer.

Daksh glanced at his giggle mug in distress while driving, not understanding how to console his wife, he wanted to know what is tormenting her so much that she was wasting her precious tears, he stopped the car with a screeching sound pulling sudden brake making his wife gasped in shock by making her about to hit her head on the dashboard but before she does, he put his hand on the exact spot to prevent her from hitting her head.

she glanced at him in utter shock and confused with her teary eyes. Seeing her disheveled state, his heart pained for his beautiful wife. Couldn't bear to see her like that anymore...

In a swift, He pulled her onto his lap and crashed his lips, wanting to stop her cries by kissing away all her agonizing cries. Caressing her back by consoling while kissing her ever so softly like she is a fragile doll to him as his giggling doll was responding to his kiss clumsily trying to match his pace totally forget about the heart ach she felt two hours ago.

Making her breathless, he pulled her away from kissing, stroking her cheeks whilst staring at her adoringly, at her failed clumsy kissy antics at the desperation to reciprocate his kiss.

" We need to improve your kissing skills by practicing more from now on" He commented slyly making her blush like a ketch up.

she lowered her eyelashes shyly as a soft smile playing on her lips.

" So, shall we start it from now" He said placing his fore finger under her chin while raising her face in the intention to see her blushy face but she didn't instead she hit him on his chest playfully saying...

"As much as I want to keep you in my embrace, I can't as we need to go home." He whispered back brushing his lips near her earlobe making her feel tingle.

At the mention of home, her mood became sour and again came back to her grief. She didn't say a word and calmly shifted to the passenger seat.

They started their drive to the home. Daksh was taking a glimpse of his wife time to time as she became silent.

She isn't crying nor smiling, just staring outside the window.

" Pondati" Elli called her softly yet he didn't get any response from her.

" Just now, you are fine. Suddenly what happened to you?" He queried her in concern.

" Nothing, I am fine" she replied keeping a blank face.

Not, wanting her to make her more sad as just a few minutes ago she smiled at him. So, at least now she isn't crying anymore. That is a better result.

However, what made her to cry? He pondered.

At Home, she didn't spoke much with anyone. Everyone tried to speak with her but she just gave a monosyllabic answers.

Seeing her like this, they all knew something must have happened to her. All her family members looked at Daksh questioningly.

He doesn't knew how to say that he had no idea what happened to her. So, he just averted his gaze from them saying...

" I don't have any idea, however I am trying to figure out" He replied and left to his bedroom.

" Shall we leave or do you need time to pack anything" he asked her while coming into the bedroom glancing at the figure who was lost in her thoughts staring blankly outside.

" Hmm, How many days we are going to stay there" she questioned him softly hearing his voice.

" 2 to 3 days as you have a college to attend" He answered while inching towards her.

" Okay, will pack my stuff then" She commented turning her head to look at the person who loves her to the core.

He stood at a 2 feet distance away from her and stared at her unusual behavior which was hurting him a lot.

"Mmm" He hummed in annoyance yet tried to hide it from her as he doesn't want to make her cry with his behavior.

Gritting his teeth in anger, he walked out to the balcony and dialed a number..

"Sir"

"I am sharing a location to you. I want the CC camera recordings from today's morning 10 Am to 12 PM in half an hour" He commanded darkly and ended the call.

Clenching his fists, he frustratingly took out a cigarette box from his pocket, pulled out a stick from the pack and was about to put it near his lips but a tender hand grabbed it away making him growl glancing at her.

" You promised me that you will quit smoking but now you are breaking the oath" she questioned him causing him to feel regret for breaking the promise.

He averted his gaze from her not able to look into her eyes as he broke the promise.

" Let's, go. We are getting late" He muttered not responding to her query and ambled into the room leaving her there.

His phone buzzed with a notification. He quickly opened it and saw the recording was sent to him by his detective.

Daksh pov:

I played the cc tv recording, and after watching it for few minutes, I got to know that my wife went to meet Cabir.

But why did she even meet Cabir at this time and mainly what did that idiot told her that made her cry.

"Elli, shall we leave"

I turned around by hearing her soft voice only to see her warm face staring at me with full of love. Feeling her lovable gaze on me, my heart beat sped like a rocket.

" Hmm, go down and speak with Amma and Appa. I need to make an important call"

My words slipped out of the mouth so soothingly that I doubted myself that Is the person who just spoke was me?

"Elli, You do your call. I will wait here itself. " She commented avoiding eye contact with me.

I sighed, hoping what I was thinking shouldn't be true and dialed that idiot number. As soon as he attended the call, I barked at him..

"Cabir!!!" I yelled at him harshly.

Not knowing how to deal with this problem. I stood there at the last step of the stairs and stared at her.

Sensing my gaze on her, she glanced at me and said..

" He came. We will leave now" She said taking a glance at all and quickly looked back at me calmly.

I inched to them nodding my head and whispered back..

I ogled at the extremely good looking husband who was busy in driving the car to the hospital.

" Pondati, you can eye rape me later as much as you want but for now attend the call"

Hearing his husky voice, I blushed and glanced the phone. It was his phone which is ringing. I looked up at him in puzzled..

" What are you looking at? Lift the call. It's your sister only" He commented looking at me, at the same time at the front.

" Mmm" I hummed and attended the call

by putting it on the speaker.

"Hello Daksh" My sister greeted.

"Umm..hii...he is driving" I said playing with the end of sleeves.

"Oh...uncle get discharged and we took him home. You people come to the home directly" She informed softly.

I hang up the call and glanced at him. His face is now neutral.

"Elli!!" I called him.

"What happened to uncle?" I asked him as I forget to ask him before as I was caught up with my own despair.

"He is suffering from cancer" He replied Coldly.

Later, we both went to meet uncle and their my Elli didn't spoke anything. He just stared at uncle coldly. Not wanting make the environment more awkward.. I started the conversation. I asked him about his well being and uncle asked me about my studies and all.

After few minutes, we left from their to our room...

I sprawled on the bed lazily while thinking about my family..

Its not that I am angry at them, no..not at all..

I knew it at the start itself, that it will be hard for me to convince my parents to accept my Elli as their son in law. Because, they all were already heartbroken, ashamed and scared due to my sister but they didn't stopped pampering me instead they adored me so much.

plus, whose parents will just give their daughter to a stranger without knowing anything about him and their family. Because, parents care and think about their daughters safety for n number of times.

Because, for a girl, safety, happiness and respect is the prior thing which is important among strangers when they choose their life partner. so, obviously my parents got panicked when they heard the marriage thing from my Elli suddenly. couldn't able to take the sudden news anymore, they might got scared that what if my Elli is a bad person and might harm me.

May be ,that's what trigger them and might be humiliated and insulted him. After hearing my side of the story, maybe their mind changed a little and might have called him for a talk and wanted to test my Ellis love for me whether genuine or not.

So, in their point of view, they were right but what I didn't like in that was, they shouldn't have humiliated and insulted him instead they could have dealt it softly and along with him they could tested my love for him too.

Plus, now in front of his love, I feel like my love for him looks so tiny. That's the reason I am feeling more depressed.

"Why? Just now you said that you missed me" He commented chuckling at me.

" I did but I don't want you to get worn out" I said giving him a clarity.

"Mmm..I think I need to show my wife that how much stamina I have on the bed" He spoke mischievously.

"Chii..shameless" I blushed hearing his dirty meaning behind his words.

He chortled back at me..After a few seconds of silence..

" Elli" I whispered.

"Mmm" He hummed like always.

" I need your help" I blurted out.

"At your service, wifey" He replied dramatically making me smile at his flirty words.

"I-I..Can you get two internships from Dakshana company" I asked him.

"For Nina and Pari?" He asked me in return.

"Mmm..actually...I forgot to inform them about the Dakshana internship and applied for it. Now, ..." As I was saying but he didn't let me as he interrupted in the middle..

" Now, they both are angry at you and arguing with you?" He queried me further but i went silent thinking who can he estimate the situation that simply.

"I asked you something " He said a little loudly.

" Hmm, kind of" I responded coming back to my senses.

" Ask them to pack their bags as they are going along with you" saying this he ended the call.

I sighed and entered in..

" How can my darling ditch me like that" she said while crying on phone.

" No, Rishi. We 3 decided to do internship in one company. How can she do this to us? " Pari complained like a kid.

" Curly fry, why is it so difficult to buy an internship for me over there" Nina bellowed wiping her running nose with her hand.

Eww!!!

" Is that company that great?" Pari seethed in fury.

I stared at both of them in speechless..

I don't know what to do with these two. I know, I was wrong but I feel like these two got addicted towards me.

I walked towards them, and grabbed both of their phones and hung up with out caring at their angry looks.

" If you both wanted to do an internship with me then pack your bags. We are leaving in one hour " I declared.

"What!!!!" They both shouted in surprise.

" Golden words are not repeated" I grinned playfully at them.

They both stared at me and then at each other for few seconds..

" Now what!!!!! Don't wanna join me in flying to New York to do an internship along with me" I commented slyly throwing a naughty grin towards them.

" What!!!! Seriously!!! We are joining you in this trip!!!!" They both yelled in excitement while engulfing me into a breathless hug.

" Oh my god!!! We are about to explore a bon voyage!!!!!"

I giggled heartfully as they both shouted like manic while sprinting to pack up their bags towards the cupboard.

Might be I did a mistake unknowingly, but the priceless look they give me when I disclosed out the news, that was worth it.
