C43 – Spirit Strawberry

After collecting their hard-won spoils of war, they didn’t make it back to their territory until late.

“A bunch of forging fanatics,” he mused with a smile before taking his leave, hoping the Dwarves wouldn’t overexert themselves by working too late into the night.

“Lord, Huamo has already headed to the spiritual field. Shall we join her?” Bi Yu asked eagerly upon seeing Qiang Nantie.

“The fruits and vegetables there might be ripe by now.”

Arriving at the spiritual field, Qiang Nantie and Bi Yu discovered Huamo, Le Cili, and others already gathered, while only Ruan Shijia had returned to the barracks.

He never could have imagined enjoying such delectable treats before, but now, he found himself indulging in them regularly.

As such, he knew he had to safeguard this territory.

He was duty-bound to protect the inhabitants of his land.
