C14 – The Territory Leveled up

He accessed his territory’s information and realized he had overlooked a notification.

The territory alert read, “Your territory meets the upgrade requirements. Would you like to proceed with the upgrade?”

A territory’s upgrade necessitated the Lord’s active confirmation. He had nearly forgotten about it. Without hesitation, he clicked to upgrade.

The territory alert updated, “Your territory has been elevated to Level 2.”

“Territory Name: Heavenly Court.”

“Lord: Qiang Nantie (View Details)”

“Quality: White, Colorful (Concealed)”

“Territory Talent: Special items receive a 10% boost.”

“Territory Level: Level 2 (To advance to the next star, construct five Level 3 buildings)”

“Special Attribute: All attributes of the Human Race within the territory increase by 10%.”

Upon reviewing his territory, Qiang Nantie was astounded by the enhanced detail in the information—a clear benefit of the server upgrade.

“I can’t believe my territory has gained a special attribute, boosting all attributes by 10%!” Qiang Nantie was amazed once more.

He hadn’t anticipated that a Level 1 territory could possess such a unique feature.

Typically, only territories of Level 10 or higher would manifest such special attributes.

He eagerly anticipated whether his territory would gain another special attribute upon further upgrades.

He was well aware that others achieved such expansive territories only at Level 10. Such was the strength of the Rainbow Lord Space.

He turned his attention to the buildings within his domain.

Armed with a substantial sum of spirit coins, he was ready to lavish upgrades on his territory’s structures.

Qiang Nantie, with a grand gesture, began the flurry of upgrades.

The territory alert chimed in, “200 spirit coins spent to raise the King Crystal to Level 2.”

Territory Alert: “400 spirit coins spent to upgrade the King Crystal to Level 4.”

Territory Alert: “1,000 spirit coins spent to upgrade the King Crystal to Level 10.”

“I’ve finally completed all the upgrades,” Qiang Nantie said with a smile as he gazed upon his King Crystal. But in the next moment, he was taken aback.

“How odd! Why can my buildings still be upgraded?” Qiang Nantie’s eyes widened with excitement.

During the Beginner Trial, buildings could only be upgraded to a maximum of Level 10.

Yet, he discovered his territory was quite extraordinary.

Thrilled, he proceeded to elevate the level of his King Crystal once more!

Territory Alert: “2,000 spirit coins spent. The King Crystal is now at Level 11.”

“Good heavens!” Qiang Nantie was astounded.

His territory wasn’t bound by the Beginner Trial rules!

This was undoubtedly fantastic news!

Once the Beginner Trials concluded, all buildings required ample resources for upgrades, tailored to their specific traits. A Lord with only spirit coins might not manage to enhance their domain.

Some buildings had incredibly stringent upgrade requirements. Some Lords might never find the necessary materials to upgrade their buildings in their lifetime.

For every Lord, leveling up buildings was a significant headache.

But now, he faced no such constraints and could upgrade his buildings endlessly—certainly cause for celebration.

He couldn’t be sure that after the Beginner Trials, he wouldn’t need additional conditions to upgrade his territory.

But with a substantial reserve of spirit coins, he could focus on upgrading his buildings right away.

Nearly 400,000 spirit coins would suffice to advance his buildings to an Advanced Level.

The King Crystal was the cornerstone of the territory and needed to be prioritized.

Qiang Nantie was astounded. “The King Crystal can evolve further!”

He hadn’t anticipated his crystal being of Grade SSS.

Crucially, it could continue evolving with the aid of a Lord Crystal.

He was convinced that in the entire Lord’s World, he was the sole Lord with a territory capable of infinite evolution!

He was aware that Lord Crystals could enhance a territory’s crystals, but such features were typically reserved for advanced crystals.

Lord Crystals could be obtained in two ways: by seizing them from others or by venturing to the Lord Continent, where one might find them in the ruins of territories or cities.

However, the former method was a magnet for hostility, and the Lord Crystal’s enhancement effect on territory crystals was minimal.

Thus, he had never heard of anyone attacking another’s territory just for a Lord Crystal.

What’s more, he had never encountered another crystal with offensive capabilities like his.

Everything in his territory had been transformed by the Rainbow Lord Space, defying conventional expectations.

Beyond Level 20, his crystal required additional conditions for upgrading.

Yet, it remained far superior to others.

Even if other novice Lords had an abundance of spirit coins, their buildings could only reach Level 10 at most.

His building’s level was double that of any other!

He was more than content.

Securing a hidden profession would be ideal.

But such professions were exceedingly rare and each one was incredibly valuable.

Rumor had it that in the entire Lord’s World, only a handful of individuals had ever acquired those elusive hidden professions.
