Jeffrey rolled his eyes. “You don’t believe me, do you? I took photos just in case you wouldn’t believe

me! I’ll send them to you right now!”

“No need “Everett finally said, “They are together and it’s normal for them to do so. Is there anything

else?”

Everett’s sudden calmness and his placid way of speaking slightly surprised Jeffrey!

He mistook that Everett would rush to confront hert

But that wasnt a scene he wanted to witness.

Driving to the office, he walked in to see Heather discussing something with their team.

Jeffrey intended to act as if he hadn’t seen her but Heather had other plans

“Wait up“”

Failing his escape attempt, Jeffrey had no choice but to stop. “What is it?”

“Of course there’s something! I’m asking about that child. Heather mentioned this first, surprising

Jeffrey a bit.

He crossed his arms, looking at her, “I haven’t found him yet. Do you have any news?”

Heather furrowed her brow sightly. “Where would I get any news? I just show some of my concerns.

Everett’s parents are very womed about this, so we can’t just give up because of difficulties for the time

being”

“You told his parents, didn’t you?” Jeffrey wasn’t a fool. Only Heather would be the one to tell them.

“Yes.” Heather didn’t deny it, ‘Since the child belongs to Everett, he should be taken back by the Lopez

family sooner or later, so I had to prepar his parents mentaly! Look, Amanda isn’t getting better, and

she can’t handle any more stress!”

“They havent even had a DNA test yet. No one can say if he’s Everetts, so why do you tell them in

overight? Weren’t you making a fuss before?”

disappear.”

“Alright, you don’t need to overthink it. If you find out anything about the child, just let me know! it’s not

me asking, it’s Everett’s parents”

He answered it. A young and childish voice was heard on the other end

“Hello, this is Langston.”
