Beautiful Fiend: Chapter 26

“…and then that means we’ll take over that store dealing spot, too.”

I ignore Jade’s voice, scrolling through Billie’s messages on my phone. I smile, gazing at the selfie she just sent me of her and Murder. She’s got an ice cream in her hand, even though it’s cold enough outside to freeze her fingers, and Murder is trying to lick it.

I text back as people keep talking around me.

“We tried to take back the alleyway behind the cemetery. Xi killed two of the guys. Bare hands and all.”

Sawyer’s voice is merely background noise as I open the next picture from Billie. She’s pushing her bottom lip out, pouting as she gives the cutest puppy eyes. Murder is licking the ice cream happily.

A soft laugh escapes me and the room around me goes silent.

“Something funny, Cade?”

I peer up only to find four pairs of eyes staring right at me. Jade is sitting on the armrest of Sawyer’s seat, and I cock an eyebrow.

“Are you two fucking now?”

“Caden,” Ethan snaps next to me, not liking that I’m pointing out that his ex-girlfriend is obviously fucking his boss. “Can you focus on the task at hand?”

“We just told you Xi killed two of our dealers. Beat them to death.” Jade pauses for effect but doesn’t understand I don’t care. “Lea was there, she saw everything. Said he only spared her so she could run back to us and let us know.”

“That guy,” I snort. “He just hates being alive.”

“He’s rubbing in our face that he doesn’t give a shit about anything you said. And how did the fucker even survive three stab wounds?” Sawyer sneers.

I can’t really hear him. My eyes are back on the picture of Billie.

She replies right away.

I chuckle to myself, biting my lower lip as I reply.

And there are people in my living room currently scheming against NSC. No way to meet here either.

“…den. Caden!” My eyes flick up, Jade’s furious gaze on me. “What the fuck are you doing on your phone?”

I shrug. “Ignoring you.” Returning to the question I last heard, I add, “He survived because I didn’t want him to die. That’s all.”

“Yeah,” Jade scoffs. “‘Cause you didn’t want to hurt Billie Scott’s feelings.” She puts on a fake pout and tilts her head. “You’re so good to your girlfriend.”

“Not my girlfriend,” I lie a little too quickly.

She is. She’s my girlfriend, my future wife, my everything. Not that any of them need to know. I don’t want to put her in any more danger than she already is. What’s pretending we’re not together when we have the rest of our lives to make up for it?

Ethan tries to come in as the voice of reason, his calm demeanor helping to keep my own anger at bay. “You might think all these problems are beneath you because you’re so desperate to get out of this town. But if NSC takes over, you’ll be dead before you even finish college.”

I huff, running a hand through my already messy hair as I lock eyes with Sawyer. “We were never able to take over the alley behind the cemetery. Xi holds on to it just as hard as he holds his dick when he jerks off over his stepsister. Why do you want it now?”

“To prove a point,” Sawyer admonishes as he stands up. “This town belongs to us.”

“Don’t let NSC make you believe they can start a war on us, Sawyer. We already know they’re useless fucks, but your pride is a very dangerous thing.”

“My pride? What about your fear? You don’t want to see what’s happening right before you.” He takes on a girly voice. “You’re too scared it’ll break you and your girlfriend up.” Hardening his voice again, he adds, “What will happen when she chooses her crew over you, and you’re too pussy-whipped to get over it?”

“Not my girlfriend,” I rebuke a little harsher this time. I get up and slowly walk to him.

Chest to chest, he’s glaring at me while I feel the glint of malice glowing in my eyes. “Let me make something clear. The only thing I’ve ever been scared of is myself. Because no one can stop me when I lose control. You know that, right, Sawyer?”

I feel the need he has to take a step back when his body tenses from alarm. “Don’t push me,” I say with a chilling tone. “Don’t make me lose control.” I notice goosebumps appearing on his neck as I observe him. Bringing my gaze back to his, I smile. “I don’t give a shit what you do with NSC, but don’t waste precious energy and resources on them. There’s no point in our men dying. We already have the upper hand. Let them come to us if they want. They’ll quickly realize it’s a suicide mission.”

Looking down at the phone in my hand, I notice another text from Billie. “I gotta go. Tutoring and all.”

“I thought you stopped tutoring,” Jade calls my way as I head to the front door.

“Mind your own business, Jade,” I throw back as I start typing back to Billie. “Who knows what I’ll do to you once I’m truly sick of you.”

I leave and keep typing as I walk to my car.

I go to my car and open the glove box. Rummaging through it, I find a piece of black cloth I keep there for when I’ve kidnapped NSC guys in the past. There’s also a bottle of whiskey, a gun, and zip ties.

I won’t use the gun because it reminds me too much of what her Stoneview ex did with his other girlfriend. I don’t want Billie to think I had any inspiration from him. Although I think we could have been good friends if only he hadn’t fucked my girl at one time. He’s got that spot of darkness that dirties the blue of his eyes. There’s something deeply wrong with him, just like me.

I drive to the meeting point I gave to Billie and recognize her car parked there. The road is the end of civilization when it comes to these woods. It turns into gravel and then slowly into nothing but forest ground. That’s the beginning of the end. Where monsters hide and no one can hear you scream.

Night is falling, and it brings a peace over me. My favorite part of the day.

I belong to the night, and Billie knows that.

I open the bottle of whiskey and take a swig. Relishing in the sweet burn going down my throat, I take another one and smile. I am going to have fun with my little bee tonight.

Typing on my phone, I stay in my car as I send a new message to Billie.

I watch her exit the car and stand by it, facing the darkness of the forest. Following, I get out of mine. Keeping my steps light, I approach until I’m standing right behind her.

I know she senses me because her body relaxes slightly. “Okay, can I turn around now?” I can hear the smile in her voice.

“Not yet,” I purr in her ear. I put the bottle of whiskey on the ground and grip the cloth in both hands. Without warning, I put it in front of her eyes.

“Caden,” she panics, bringing her fingers to the cloth now covering her eyes.

Fisting both ends, I pull until she crashes against my chest. “Shh. Calm down,” I whisper. “You’re safe, okay?”

I can feel her heart beating through her back and against my chest. “You’ve been drinking.” It’s not a question, and I sense her tensing.

She’s only seen me drunk once, and I’m not exactly proud of what I did to her that day. But we’ve been seeing each other for three weeks now and she’s not scared of me anymore. Like a little lamb who falls in love with the wolf that could eat her, Billie has been lowering her defenses for me. This new version of our relationship makes my heart melt every single time I see her.

It’s dangerously addictive to receive Billie Scott’s love. She doesn’t have much of it to give, and it’s a privilege that she’s chosen me to do so with.

It’s also a precarious situation for her because while I was obsessed with her before for the simple fact that I wanted her, I am now consumed by love and euphoria at knowing I will never let her go. She agrees to that now, but if she changes her mind, it won’t mean anything to me. She belongs to me forever, and there’s absolutely nothing she can do about it.

I’m hyper-aware of every single one of Billie’s trembling breaths as I tie the cloth at the back of her head. I make sure not to pull at her beautiful long hair.

“I’m going to do something with you I’ve never done before, little bee,” I whisper in her ear.

Looking down, I can see her tapping her fingers against her thighs. A discreet dance of apprehension.

“I’m going to give you a way to stop what I’m about to do.”

She freezes from the surprise. “W-what?”

“If it gets too much, I want you to tap out. The exact same way you would do in the cage.”

“I never tap out in the cage.” Her voice is strong, her pride unshakable.

I chuckle softly, before kissing her neck. “I know. But you know you can if you really need to. Okay?”

“Okay.” She nods a few times before I wrap a hand around her throat from the back. “This will be valid for everything, forever. If I’m too much, tap out.”

“You’ve never done this with me before,” she points out as her body relaxes.

“I’ve never done this with anyone. I don’t care if others can’t take me, but I care about you. I would rather you tell me that I’m out of control rather than realizing too late that I’ve lost you.”

My hand stays around her neck as I slowly run my other along her petite body. I palm her ass, the back of her thighs, and bend so I can grab the bottle of whiskey. Putting it in front of her, I bring it to her lips and make her drink.

“God,” she chokes out, spluttering and spilling whiskey on herself. “That’s whiskey!”

“Yeah. And you practically never drink, so you’re a lightweight.”

She clutches the hem of her skirt firmly. She’s wearing a simple white skater skirt that makes her look angelic. I can’t wait to soil it and her.

Keeping the bottle close to her lips, I bring the hand around her neck to her breasts.

“Billie,” I growl low as I start to lose rationality. “You’re not wearing a bra.” I can feel it through the oversized sweater she’s wearing. It’s a simple beige sweater of mine that she stole from my closet. It’s so large that one side is falling off her shoulder, and she had to tuck the bottom into the waist of her skirt.

I untuck my sweater and slide my hand under until I reach her perky nipples. I play with them, alternating and not stopping until she squirms under me. Her heavy breaths blow on the open bottle I’m holding in front of her, playing a beautiful melody that translates her need for more.

I tilt the bottle, making her drink again. She splutters again, and when she turns her head to the side, more spills over her. “T-too much.”

She takes a deep breath, hissing through the burn.

“Here’s what I want to do,” I tell her low. “I’m going to turn you on slowly.” I accompany my words by rolling her nipple between my thumb and forefinger. “Every time you want more, you ask for a sip. And when I deem you inebriated enough, I’ll give you what you truly crave. How does that sound?”

She shakes her head, shuffling on her feet. She scratches her throat through the uncertainty before she talks. “I-I don’t know.”

I kiss just below her ear, following the trail of her neck until I gently bite her shoulder. She lets out a soft breath, and I ask. “Do you want to tap out?” I’m not playing fair, giving her a taste of the pleasure I’ll bring her if she doesn’t tap out. I don’t really care. I also know how powerful ‘tapping out’ is in her mind. For a fighter, it’s defeat. Admitting that you’ve been beaten.

Billie wants to be unbeatable.

“N-no,” she huffs. “I’m not tapping out,” she adds between clenched teeth.

“Then play by my rules.”

I pinch her nipple and watch how she curves her back to press her chest to my hand. I play with her until she’s writhing, and a breathless moan escapes her.

And then I pull my hand away.

She lets out a wordless complaint. “More?” I ask.

She nods, but I insist. “Say the words.”

“I want a sip.”

She can’t see the wicked smile on my lips, but it’s like she can sense it. I feel her shiver as I bring the bottle of whiskey to her lips. I force her to drink bigger gulps than she usually would, and she takes them.

When I’m satisfied, I pull the bottle away and slide my hand between her legs. “Mm, no panties,” I murmur in her ear. “You listen so well.”

I run my fingers along the seam of her lower lips before breaching the barrier and grazing her clit. She pushes her hips forward, and I press my thumb against her clit. With balanced pressure, I start rubbing her slowly. She chases every one of my movements for a long minute. Her hand slams on mine when I pull away, but the pleasure weakens her muscles and she doesn’t manage to stop me.

“Another sip,” she whimpers.

“Anything for you, baby.” Bringing the bottle to her lips, I force her to drink some more.

Now used to the burn, she drinks more greedily, surrendering completely.

I count three more times she begs me to continue and instead I make her drink some more. She starts shuffling on her feet and resting more on me, her body heavy from the alcohol.

“Caden,” she slurs. “J-just fuck me.”

“I have to tell you a secret, little bee.” I take a swig of the whiskey, realizing there isn’t much left in the bottle. It wasn’t full, but there must have been just under half a bottle in there. She drank a lot.

“That time I found you drugged up and lifeless in that hotel room. Remember? Once I knew you weren’t in danger anymore…I was so fucking turned on, Billie. I lied the next day when I told you I liked you fighting. I do, but that night, seeing you there, all lethargic and helpless…it made me hard for you. You’re a strong woman, and having you in a state where you can’t fight back makes me ecstatic.”

She tries to pull away, but I hold her back. She can’t do much, too drunk to defend herself now.

“I’m going to hunt you before enjoying you.”

I look at the dark forest ahead of me and grind my hard cock against her ass.

“That’s not funny. I…” She sways, and I catch her. “Caden, that’s not okay.”

“I know,” I say as I breathe her scent. She smells of raspberries, mint, and whiskey. “I know it’s not fucking okay, Billie. But I want to do it. It’s not too late to tap out.”

As I say that, I press a finger to her wet entrance.

“No,” she pants. “I want you. I want you, and all the dark things you like to do to me.”

I press a little harder against her pussy before retreating. “I’m going to fuck you. But first, I’m going to chase you.”

I rip the blindfold off and let go of her. She shifts on her feet as she tries to catch her balance. She turns to me, her eyes glossy from how much she drank.

“Run.”
