Chapter 8: Welcome To Mansion Rainer's

'Clack'

The doors to the carriage opened.

Aurora stepped out and a knight with an all-black uniform with a red cape held his hand to escort her down.

'Plop'

She placed her palm on top of his. And as soon as she turned to look at the scenery in front of her eyes became wide.

She had spotted one old butler with grey hair and purple eyes. Along with fourteen maids who stood making a path in between a red velvet carpet.

The knight, the butler, and the servants matched perfectly with the background scenery.

A large mansion with a white brick material that seemed like each brick was carefully put.

The huge windows of the mansion had where golden borders and green vines with fucshia-colored roses raped the entrance.

'Is this my new home...'(Aurora's inner thoughts)

'It's beautiful' (Aurora's inner thoughts)

Soon the butler by the maids approached Aurora.

"Welcome, duchess Aurora Rainers." (Wenly, said)

He greeted her respectfully with a polite bow.

"Ah, hello" (Aurora, said)

She was still taken aback by everything in front of her.

Wenly smiled at her surprised expression.

"You must be very tired after this trip so let me guide you to your room duchess." (Wenly, said)

'Nod' (Aurora)

Aurora nodded as she followed Wenly passing in the middle of the maids.

She took some peeks from each angle.

She observed the white walls and the white with black marbles glossy floors.

'This seems very elegant.' (Aurora's inner thoughts)

Wenly noticed Aurora's curious eyes.

He turned only his side face.

"The master thought hard and long what style the madam would like when she would move here." (Wenly, said)

"Master is more of a rustic style but since noble ladies like more modern looks, he thought it would suit the madam more." (Wenly, said)

He then turned his head to look straight.

'But hasn't he been just notified of the marriage how has he designed this...unless it's for someone else, some other noble lady.' (Aurora's inner thoughts)

Soon enough they arrived at a fancy black glossy two-door.

'Clack'

Wenly opened the door.

"..." (Aurora)

'I see what Wenly meant by his style' (Aurora's inner thoughts)

This room was completely different from the whole mansion.

The whole bedroom floor was covered by a red carpet matching the bed sheets and the curtains.

The bed had four white pillows and a white sheet with a burgundy duvet cover. While the bedroom frame was made out of dark brown carved wood.

Including the four stickers that connected, the bed was a canopy design.

And above all what caught Aurora's interest was a brown bear rug in front of the bedroom frame and a dear head with its antlers handed by the wall near the bed.

The deer head had scared her a little and Wenly noticed her reaction.

"If you like I could remove it?" (Wenly, asked(

"No, please leave it as it is. My husband likes it and it doesn't really bother me." (Aurora, said)

"I see, then I shall leave it there madam." (Wenly, said)

'This must be his room...that means I'll stay here rather than another room' (Aurora's inner thoughts)

'He's my husband, it's a new opportunity so I have to take advantage of this second chance.' (Aurora's inner thoughts)

"Thank you. It's beautiful." (Aurora, said)

'It's not my style but I can get used to this. It gives a warm atmosphere.' (Aurora's inner thoughts)

"I'm glad you like it madam. Then I'll be right back I will bring some maids in here to assist you." (Wenly, said)

'Nod' (Aurora)

Wenly bowed and left out the door.

Aurora turned her attention to the big porched doors.

She opened them and breathed fresh air.

'Luckily the trip from the Lepiliondel family was about a twenty-minute trip.' (Aurora's inner thoughts)

Aurora approached the railings and looked down.

"!" (Aurora)

"Ah, Garden!" (Aurora, yelled)

Aurora let out a small surprised yell.

It was a large beautiful garden filled with many colorful flowers and tall green trees. It had a flowy wavy creak that connected to a floating white gazebo with m-shaped pillars.

And it had the same vines that wrapped the front mansion wrapped around the pillars of the gazebo.

As a beautiful white flower-shaped table in between stood inside the gazebo.

'Badump, Badump' (Aurora)

'This..is really...' (Aurora's inner thoughts)

A small smile formed across Aurora's face as her eyes shook with different emotions.

'I feel...happy' (Aurora's inner thoughts)

Her smile soon became wider.

Then...

'Swish'

A tiny fresh morning breeze blew interrupting Aurora's moment.

'I should probably head inside.' (Aurora's inner thoughts)

'I have a lot of things to do.' (Aurora's inner thoughts)

'Step, Step, Step'

Walking

'Creak'

Closing door.

Aurora closed the door at that moment.

'Knock'

"Come in" (Aurora, said)

'Creak'

Door open.

'Step, Step'

Walking.

'Halt'

Stop walking.

Wenley and three maids came along with him.

The first maid was the oldest of the three maids. She seemed to be the head maid.

"Madam, this here is the head maid Irna" (Wenly, said)

"Irna greets the grand madam" (Iran, said)

She said with a polite but strict tone.

She seemed to be around fifty years old. She had styled her ash-blonde hair into a loose bun that matched her ash-blonde eyes.

"Nice to meet you, Irna." (Aurora, said)

'She seems like a person who does a very well job.' (Aurora's inner thoughts)

Wenly soon moved on to the next maid.

"Now here, this is Tala the youngest maid here in the mansion." (Wenly, said)

"Hello, madam it's nice to meet you." (Tala, said)

Tala's dark blue eyes and dark blue hair were tied up in two low buns with red silk ribbons. She seemed to be around seventeen years old.

"It's nice to meet you Tala" (Aurora, said)

Wenly turned to the last maid.

"Finally, this here is Terra my niece." (Wenly, said)

Terra had dark purple hair and purple eyes. She looked about twenty-one years old.

"It's an honor to be served by your niece butler Wenly." (Aurora, said)

"Thank you, madam" (Wenly, said)

Aurora turned to look at Terra again.

"I'm glad to serve the madam, it is my honor." (Terra, said)

"Thank you for coming all the way here, I was hoping you could lend me a hand taking the wedding dress off." (Aurora, said)

Wenly interrupted.

"If madam wants to sleep do you want us to bring you some food before the madam heads to rest?" (Wenly, asked)

"No that won't be necessary I just want to change out of my dress and would like to look around the castle, and get to know the staff." (Aurora, said)

'And to look at the castle's paperwork' (Aurora's inner thoughts)

"I understand madam" (Wenly, said)

"Ladies help the madam out and let me know when she is ready." (Wenly, said)

"Yes" (Tala and Terra, said)

"Let's go Irna" (Wenly, said)

Iran bowed to leave.

'Even though she seems cold and restricted like me, she must be a very responsible and well-admired head maid...' (Aurora's inner thoughts)

Or so she thought.
