Chapter 4: Needles

**Alright Now Continuation Of Chapter 4...

In Aurora's room-

Aurora's room was a pretty dark room with burgundy wallpapers and a red carpet that covered all the room floor.

She had two emerald green couches facing each other while a small short circular dark brown coffee table stood between them.

The tall circular dark brown table with one chair that Aurora used to eat and study stood near the tall window.

The bedroom window with black curtains that matched the black bedding sheets. It was the window that provided the most light beside the bathroom window that provided light to the light brown vanity near the couches.

Anyone who stayed in this room would probably feel lonely and trapped by such dark colors.

"I have to get these needles out" (Maid Luciana, said)

Luciana was a maid with light brown shoulder-length hair and brown eyes. She was about twenty-two years old and one of Adelina's minions.

'Step'

Luciana ran into Aurora's room without worrying about the opened door.

'Creak'

She rushed and opened Aurora's second right drawer.

Inside the drawer were needles spread across.

"One, two, three, four.." (Luciana, said)

Luciana counted hastily as she held four sliver needles with a black marked dot in each.

"Where's the fifth one?" (Luciana, asked)

Luciana stared back into the drawer. She dug into the cabinet and found the fifth one.

"Found it." (Luciana, said)

She quickly picked it up but...

"And I found you" (Aurora, said)

A cold voice sounded from behind Luciana.

Luciana turned in surprise.

"Ah Aurora!" (Luciana, yelled)

She yelled flustered.

"Give me the needles." (Aurora, said)

Aurora extended her arm.

'Shake'

Luciana shook her head.

"I can't these are lady Adelina's an-" (Luciana, said)

"I didn't ask you, I told you to give them back to me." (Aurora, said)

She glared at Luciana.

'She was just a timid child..what happen in the dining room that her attitude is like this? Lady Adelina never said a word! No matter... how dare she get all high and mighty with me.' (Luciana's inner thoughts)

"Hmph" (Luciana)

"Why should I? Your not my lady which means, they don't belong to you. If you want them you will have to ask Lady Adelina for them back." (Luciana, said)

Luciana snickered as she spoke to Aurora arrogantly.

'Lady Adelina has my back, she would never betray me' (Luciana's inner thoughts)

"Adelina and you will no longer need those needles so give them to me now." (Aurora, said)

'Flap'

Aurora signaled Luciana to bring her the needles.

"No" (Luciana, said)

Luciana quickly responded.

"..." (Aurora)

Aurora pulled back her hand.

'From now on someone who dares disrespect me..' (Aurora's inner thoughts)

At Aurora's action, Luciana misunderstood.

'Ha, I knew it-(Luciana's inner thoughts)

Aurora interrupted her inner thoughts with furious eyes causing a dangerous atmosphere.

"Luciana, you are a maid and I'm the second lady of the marquess Elex whether you like it or not I am above you." (Aurora, said)

"Don't make me repeat myself." (Aurora, said)

'T-This atmosphere' (Luciana's inner thoughts)

Luciana could feel herself grow little in front of such an unexpected strong opponent.

"Hand it over" (Aurora, said)

Luciana timidly walked to Aurora and placed the needles in her palms.

"H-Here" (Luciana, said)

Aurora grabbed the needles with her left hand.

".." (Aurora)

'About one or two needles were used on me eight days each month.' (Aurora's inner thoughts)

'Yesterday morning Adelina instructed five needles..in my past life I followed Adelina's words claiming she was sick. That I could cure her.' (Aurora's inner thoughts)

'Aurora remembered being stabbed with the needles. They looked like ordinary needles but they were not. Lucian shoved the needles half ways and when she plucked them out the needles were covered in my red blood. They set up a drinking bowl with regular water and dipped the bloody needles into the water. Then Adelina drank the water.' (Aurora's flashbacks)

'I hated the pain, I thought maybe an injection was better than being poked like that so I asked Adelina and she said" I can't use that, the needles were blessed by one of the higher priests that died a long time ago. If I use injections it's useless".' (Aurora's flashbacks)

'That is what she said at the time, and I believed her without asking any questions. I had no idea back then the reason she had powers was that she drank my blood and was infused with holy power the needles provided.' (Aurora's inner thoughts)

'Even the Chessuraus temple plays a part' (Aurora's inner thoughts)

Aurora closed her left hand where Luciana had placed the needles.

She looked up at Luciana.

'Yank'

Aurora yanked Luciana by the wrist and pulled her close to her.

This made Luciana bend a little down.

"If I ever catch you sneaking into my room without permission I will use these needles on you and shove them all the way, understand ?" (Aurora, asked)

'I-I'm so scared, she's crazy. Just looking at her maniac eyes.' (Luciana's inner thoughts)

"Speak" (Aurora, said)

Aurora tightens her grip on Luciana's wrist.

"Y-Yes, I-I understand. I shall not do it again." (Luciana, said)

"Good" (Aurora, said)

Aurora released Luciana and slightly pushed her placing the needles into the drawer.

'Creak'

Closed drawer.

Aurora turned her body to face Luciana.

She crossed her arms.

"If these disappear you know who I'll blame?" (Aurora, asked)

She asked in a strict tone.

"I'-I am" (Luciana, said)

Luciana shivered and bowed her head.

"I'm glad you know, but one more thing.." (Aurora, said)

"I am lady Aurora to you. So don't ever call me by my first name!" (Aurora, said)

Aurora raised her voice coldly.

"Ugh" (Luciana)

Luciana winced in fright at Aurora's intensifying glare.

'I-I have to apologize, my life is first right now...Adelina and Maryjane will give me justice.' (Luciana's inner thoughts)

"Lady Aurora I'm so sorry. Please forgive me." (Luciana, said)

"Ha" (Aurora)

"Leave before I change my mind and close the door."(Aurora, said)

"Y-Yes" (Luciana, said)

Soon Luciana left leaving Aurora alone leaning against the vanity.

"You shouldn't be too happy, you still hurt me and I will come back to destroy the Lepiliondel family." (Aurora, said)

Aurora talked to herself as she stared at her black bedding sheets.

Her eyes moved to the bright window that illuminated her room.

Aurora had stopped in front of her window and looked outside.

Servants talking among each other as they cut the growing vines in the Eastern garden.

'Since I'm no longer allowed to any garden, I sure am thankful to get a view from my mother's garden.' ( Aurora's inner thoughts)

"Mother, what did I do so wrong to deserve this? I wish you were here with me. Even if it was for a minute.." (Aurora, said)

Aurora turned away from the window and leaned on the burgundy wall and some of the black curtains as she faced her two wooden bedroom doors.

"I could already see how the arrogant Adelina will turn after she gets the offer of the crown princess." (Aurora, said)

"Count Ian has probably told them already and once Adelina's coming of age party comes up they will announce their engagement." (Aurora, said)

"Haha, see mother me and Adelina are both twenty and the only one to receive a debuting is her." (Aurora, said)

Aurora laughed bitterly.

'It should be within a five months after all marquess Elex has been preparing for her coming age ceremony for four months." (Aurora's inner thoughts)

'I wasn't allowed to attend in the past but who knows I'll have my husband now and if I receive a saintess title too...' (Aurora's inner thoughts)

'Halt'

'Oh wait, husband...according to my last life he finished war within 2 weeks. I can't say I'm not a little scared to meet him since my family is on good terms with the emperor.' (Aurora's inner thoughts)

Duke Dorion Rainers is the first prince of the emperor Ivan Von Rhone and the real son of the real empress Oralith Von Rhone.

Orlaith Von Rhone had dark blue hair and red eyes she was very beautiful but died young at age thirty-two by the fake empress Paola Von Rhone.

Orlaith was the only daughter of marquess Michael Macadam and marchioness Erica Macadam, family.

"They hate their real grandson without even knowing it." (Aurora, said)

Aurora clutched her fists.

"She took away their real daughter and their real grandson like nothing..." (Aurora, said)

'The problem is I'm not sure if the first prince was affected by the magic..if he is and I bring it up, he'd take me as a crazy woman only to be easily killed.' (Aurora's inner thoughts)

Aurora remembered Dorion's face in the little banquets she was forced to attend to entertain Adelina and her bully friends.

'He was standing there in a white suit filled with colorful medals and three golden sashes that hung from his left elbows to the end of his right chest. He wore a long red cap with a red tie that matched his red jeweled eyes. He had styled his soft blonde golden-like hair like he always did. His hair was in a pull-up slick back hairstyle with a few strands on his face.' (Flashbacks, Aurora)

"I always thought that man had beautiful hair and his ruby red eyes that shine brighter than any red jewel captivated me. Even back then in the swordsmanship tournament when we meet each other again before he left for war." (Aurora, said)

A small blush formed across Aurora's cheeks.

'That man was extremely handsome but no lady dared to approach him, instead they humiliated him. That man standing in the corner alone was just like me..' (Aurora's inner thoughts)

Aurora turned to the window again and placed her right palm in the window.

"It was unjustly. I stood still, maybe death was my karma for not choosing him, by not telling him. I was selfish I thought putting my family first was the right thing instead I hurt that man and betrayed the former empress's, kind heart." (Aurora, said)

'Bang'

Aurora hit the window.

"That dam fake empress, she changed everything. She used us both like ponds." (Aurora, said)

"She killed empress Oralith, that kind woman who loved her son and empire unconditionally." (Aurora, said)

'The sweet memory in the Rhone Imperial palace where she held empress Oralith's hand through the garden as Aurora looked at Dorian who accepted her flower crown.' (flashbacks, Aurora)

"If she saw how they treated his beloved son..." (Aurora, said)

'Drip'

"That poor man that ran towards me" (Aurora, said)

"That man who I promised to marry when I was small"(Aurora, said)

"I broke the promise" (Aurora, said)

Soon a handful of tears ran down Aurora's cheeks.

'Slid'

Aurora's fist released and slid down the windshield.

Aurora rested her forehead against the window.

"I'm to blame. My conscious always eat at me even in the past.." (Aurora, said)

'Drop, Drop, Drop'

"I will give you the revenge you want. I shall step on those who made us like this." (Aurora, said)

"For me, for you, and for your mother" (Aurora, said)
