Chapter 34: A Protective Brother That Causes A Rift Among All

"HEY WAKE UP YOU!" (Arian, yelled)

"OPEN YOUR EYES! DON'T YOU DARE!" (Arian, yelled)

"WHY AREN'T YOU WAKING UP! OPEN YOUR EYES!" (Arian, yelled)

He began to shake her body not harshly to hurt her but in a panic mode seeing she wasn't opening her eyes nor was she moving.

The only thing that assured him was the large warm divine lights emitting from her body shooting up in the sky.

But even that it was already beginning to disappear driving him into a panic mode thinking that she was indeed losing her life.

"No...way...this light...that's divine light" (Lepiliondel knights, whispered)

"The size and affection of that thing...it even cured my fatigue, scars, and injuries" (Lepiliondel knights, whispered)

"Look at the bear its injuries had been healed too...but it's like it knocked out...then what does..." (Lepiliondel knights, whispered)

"No is that even possible? That's too much divine power not even a high priest or a pope has that kind of divine power" (Lepiliondel knights, whispered)

"Why are you afraid to say that our second lady, the saintess couldn't even come close to possessing the power of the first lady?" (Lepilodnel knights, whispered)

These knights should have been familiar to their former lady's face but since she never stepped out of the mansion and remained in her room they truly had not seen a glimpse of her.

They were shocked to see that she turned out to be such a beauty and now especially with the divine powers emitting with her as her features had changed.

Commotions had begun amongst them.

Within all this had reached Arian's ears who was only focused on his sister who had not woken up.

In fact, why was he such an idiot?

Someone so close to him, someone so close to his sight how could he not see the resemblance?

Suddenly they were interrupted with a cold warning tone and expression that reflected a brotherly protection from Arian.

Arian warned them or more like threatened them.

He grabbed her tightly and lifted her carrying her unconscious body as the golden divine light had now disappeared.

He rushed towards his horse and hopped on being careful at the same time not to drop her or hurt her unconscious body.

"Run at full speed, call a doctor or a priest to the mansion now!" (Arian, yelled)

He spoke again loud giving them orders as he took out his long handkerchief that she had made many many years ago tying it to her neck hiding her necklace.

Something told him it was best to keep her necklace hidden.

"Yes, young master! "(Lepilondel Knights, yelled)

The knights did not question him.

Even protocol to leave they must bow down to the royal family to say their goodbyes but seeing how panicked and worried he was for his sister there was no way he would do it.

So they had to be prepared to pass them and the royal family staining the Lepilondel honor as everyone watched.

Horse noises.

He gritted his teeth stressed that his horse couldn't go any faster to get her the care she needed.

"No, as soon as the light hit the royal family were escorted out apparently something bad happened to the Emperor how could that be good?" (People, talking)

The nobles and the servants were scattered all together outside on the grass rather than inside their tent they had come out to see the divine light shooting up the sky as it hit them.

Everyone was in commotion except for a few.

"What is this....why do I...." (Marquess Elex, mumbled)

Marquess had grabbed his head that felt strange as if something bad that had been hovering over him had been taken off.

But his attention turned to a man who was approaching him with a frown.

A frown that made Marquess Elex frown himself.

"You shouldn't be here standing and wasting your time" (Marquess Robertzo Dions, said)

Marquess Robertzo Dions, forty-seven years old.

A tall man with red straight hair and blue eyes just like Rupelia including her sharp features.

He had approached Marquess Elex as he spoke to him informally with a tone looking down at him.

"What? " (Marquess Elex, asked)

He frowned more ignoring both Rupelia and Davina holding their mother Marchioness Dorrelline Dions who had wavy pink hair and green eyes staring at him with a disapproving face.

The two daughters even looked down at the Marquess Elex.

He asked with an offended tone not comprehending Marquess Robertzo's words.

"I heard your second daughter tampered on your first daughter's map...don't worry we already informed the guards" (Maquess Robertzo, said)

Marquess Robertzo's words confused him more as Marquess Elex didn't understand what was happening.

Everything was chaos, there were out of the tent as people talked among each other confused, surprised, and worried at the divine light that had disappeared and that their attention wasn't to them only the Dion's family and Maquress Elex himself till a familiar yelled was heard before he could comprehend.

"Let me go! I'm the Saintess that's been serving you ingrates! You can't do it without any proof! How dare you touch me you ungrateful-Dad!" (Adelina, yelled)

That was because at the distance Adelina was being held elbow to elbow by the Dions's family guards.

She was yelling as if she was unjustly detained till she spotted her father and the Dions's family staring at her.

Especially Rupelia and Davina snickering with a smirk.

'Dam it! Those bitches actually went like rats and framed me! They will not be getting away with this my father is going to stick up for me...and just wait till the empress deals with them' (Adelina's inner thoughts)

She was already pissed and panicked as soon as she had spotted the divine light.

It was obvious that light was in the direction Aurora had headed on.

However, she had many questions.

Such as if Aurora had finally manifested her powers?

If she was actually taken care just like the Empress had said.

If not what the hell had happened?

Her annoying noble friends who sat with her and the ladies that surrounded her quickly began to talk about an awakening of someone with a high divine power or the descent of a god.

How was that even possible to have that much divine power?!

She always thought Aurora's power was high enough to be considered a saintess but if it was like this was the little portion of blood that had given her those powers to become a fake saintess only just a glimpse?

It boiled her blood the thought of Aurora being much more powerful than that.

From now things were going to change but at this moment she had to get out of their grasp.

At the same time, Adelina was staring at her father.

But Marquess Robertzo spoke over him.

"I'm a man that hates to repeat but you don't seem in the right mind....your second daughter tampered with the map of your first daughter who followed the map to the dangerous restricted area" (Marquess Robertzo, said)

Marquess's angry expression instantly distorted as if what he had heard had caught him by surprise but for some strange reason, his eyes reflected alert and worry.

"I've already sent some of my knights to go find her, I hope it's not too late" (Marquess Robertzo, said)

"That poor child must have gone through a lot living under your roof to be faith like this, I am taking your second daughter under custody for the time being. I am in charge of this unit if you have any concerns you can march yourself down to the imperial palace now that the royal family has headed that way" (Marquess Robertzo, said)

He really didn't care nor was he scared of defying royalty after all locking up Adelina was under a good reason.

She just simply wouldn't be able to get out unless the influence of the royal family.

"It's already chaos with this unexpected light but at the moment me and my family's concern is to make sure your first daughter comes back alive" (Marquess Robertzo, said)

"If not your second daughter will be charged with planned murder. Do you think the royal family would be able to handle a hit like that, especially with the sharp sword?" (Marquess Robertzo, whispered)

The sharp sword was Dorion.

Marquess Robertzo was right.

Everyone had seen it.

How Dorion looked infatuated with Marquess Elex's eldest daughter.

If something were to happen to her there was no saying what he would do.

It wasn't that the reason why Marquess Robertzo decided to step up rather than he too was at fault for becoming ignorant.

He paid no attention to his rivals his undivided attention was to his family he could care less for others as long as their family was okay but as soon as their two daughters ran unladylike something they could do that in their home but not outside in the noble world to not bring shame to the Dions name meant that it was something of utter concerned.

His two daughters told them what Adelina had done and he felt guilt that a child like Aurora had to go through that.

He had heard rumors that people saw her as a bad omen and people mistreated her but there was simply no information on the eldest daughter so there was no way to really confirm if that was how they actually treated her in the house.

Marquess Elex's words did not come out only his mouth opened as Marquess Robertzo leaned away with a cold face.

Marquess Elex should have been mad that they had detained his precious daughter, he should have said something to get her out of the clutches of the Dions's family knights but why did he not feel like doing so?

More like his thoughts were focused on one thing.

Something that would not occur for him to think so why did it feel strange that he felt worried for the other?

Adelina was yelling louder as some heads were already turning seeing how her dad was taking his sweet time to talk to Marquess Robertzo when he should have cared and just grabbed her protecting her from them and the world but this time...

The utter shock that hit her as she watched her dad close his eyes and turn away ignoring her to speak to Marquess Robertzo again.

The words that left Marquess Elex's mouth were firm as a father who had finally stepped up not cover his daughter's mistakes.

"Ah there covered in blood! Wait that's young Marquess Arian?!" (People, yelling)

Immediately everyone turned to look at the Lepiliondel l kingths who were rushing as if they were chasing someone alongside the bloodied Arian who was holding the unconscious bloodied Aurora as if she were a corpse.

He dared not to look another way his priority was getting someone to get to her but somehow spotted Adelina being held by the Dions Knight.

He hated it now, he felt her touch repulsive as if he had seen something that had blinded him.

Never had he given an opportunity to his first sister to speak her truth.

He had come to realize that even giving his life he was still unqualified to give.

He didn't know what happened if Auroa had extracted her life energy for him but if he had to do what he had to do then his direction definitely shifted directing towards her.

Arian had jumped down his horse holding Aurora tightly so she wouldn't get hurt at his jump while his right hand yanked Adelina's wrist tightly away from the Dions family Knights that didn't expect it.

They would have thought Arian was going to help his sister and so did she seeing how angry he was.

But her thoughts would never have realized he was furious because of Aurora's current state.

"YOU SCHEMING BITCH! GIVE HER BACK!" (Arian, yelled)

Arian screamed at the top of his lungs with a furious shriek he was a total wreck.

Everyone had become surprised at the way he had grabbed her and the way he was talking to her.

Marquess Elex, Marquess Robertzo, and Marchioness Dorriell were shocked except for Rupelia and Davina who covered their mouths with a funny shocked look as if they were unexpectedly entertained.

"HOW COULD YOU BE SO...! DAM IT! WHY WOULD YOU PUT HER IN A DANGEROUS SITUATION LIKE THIS! WHAT THE HELL?! WHERE YOU PLANNING TO KILL HER?!" (Arian, yelled)

"IT WAS TRUE! IT MUST BE TRUE YOU HIERED SOMEONE TO KIDNAP HER NOT TO LONG AGO AND NOW THIS!" (Arian, yelled)

'GRIP!'

"I WAS STUPID BUT I WON'T LONGER STAND BY IT! SHE HAS A BROTHER SO GIVE HER POWER BACK! GIVE HER WHAT YOU STOLE FROM HER! WAKE HER UP! DO IT!!" (Arian, yelled)

He thought if somehow Adelina who had taken Aurora's power tried to heal her Aurora would open her eyes.

Right in front of everyone, Arian was exposing her.

And the nobles who were watching soon began to whisper.

"Stole her powers? What is he talking about?" (People, asked)

"But what is it...he said the Saintess hired someone to kidnap the first daughter" (People, whispered)

"Why would young Marquess who loved and cherished his little sister would be acting like this? Is there more to the story?" (People, asked)

"But what he said about scheming? Did the Saintess scheme something with her divine power?" (People, asked)

"Wait then what about that divine power that shot up the sky and the possibility of being from the eldest daughter?" (People, asked)

Never in her life had she received that much humiliation.

The love she felt for her brother was completely gone.

It was like a match exterminated in her heart.

The thought of him completely switching sides with her.

In the end, he always returned to her.

Why couldn't everything be her?

Why did the crown prince and her husband follow her like dogs when they were small?

But Arian did not let it slide.

He took his hand away from her wrist with anger and held Aurora again as he looked at her angrily.

"What's going on? Is the saintess not going to cure her own sister?" (People, speaking)

"Well didn't they say she was a bad omen that could be dangerous" (People, speaking)

"Arian" (Marqess Elex, said)

Suddenly Marquess Elex's voice was heard in the back of Arian.

"Dad...hic..!" (Adelina, yelled)

Arian halted the moment he heard his father's unreadable voice while Adelina was gripping on straws reaching out for her father to help her.

Arian turned still angry holding Aurora in his arms without feeling intimidation of his father.

"Dad as much as you hate her she's still our family, please...please dad...she's not waking up" (Arian, said)

Arian had anger in him but his voice cracked as if he wanted to cry.

He held her tight this time hiding Aurora's face as if he was covering her and protecting her.

His tone was more like a plead.

"For once, look this over...I'm taking my sister back home and I won't let you stop me" (Arian, said)

"I won't ask for you to accompany me as your only daughter is in need of you, there's no reason for you to care for Aurora but I will" (Arian, said)

He said as he passed him not even glancing at him as he pointed out his favoritism and mistreatment towards Aurora.

Marquess's Elex heart throbbed.

Actually, the instant he saw his first daughter carried lifeless with little color on her face covered in blood along his son who looked to have a panic attack his heart dropped immediately.

Arian had gone beristic and was not in the right mind anyone knew that if something happened to Aurora perhaps Arian would not be able to handle it.

Arian did not look back he only dashed straight ahead heading to the mansion at full speed.
