Chapter 28: An Unasked Sacrifice

"YOUNG MASTER ARIAN!" (Lepilondel knights, yelling)

"IDOT GET THE BEAR AWAY FROM HIM FIRST!" (Lepilodel knights, yelling)

"KILL IT!" (Lepilondel knights, yelling)

"FORMATION NOW!" (Lepilondel knights, yelling)

"GROWLLL!" (Bear, growling)

As soon as his breath was no longer felt there were loud panicked yells in the background.

It seemed that they had come alongside Arian, she didn't know who they were but her mind was not with them.

In fact, her mind had become a mess.

The bear directed its attention to them and it no longer continued to attack Arian's body however that was what made her come to a completely horrified expression.

Because the bear would no longer move Arian's body she would no longer feel the movement of Arian himself who she wanted to believe he was still breathing even if it was a very slow breathing she could not feel and hear.

But his body did not move.

'Move'

Aurora's expression was pale and sweating countlessly as she moved her body in a rush to move her back away so she could get out of the position she was being protected by Arian.

As soon as she had moved away from his shield her gloved hands cough Arian's collapsed body as her eyes were naturally drawn to the bloody gruesome back of Arian.

'WIDEN!'

Arian who was not wearing a light pink cape just like the color of her dress was now wearing one now and it was torn apart and shredded to bits with blood and his open skin was visible enough that it had dug to his tendons almost getting to the bones.

Arian's back head that had beautiful fushia pink hair just like hers was no longer there.

Only his brain was visible to her.

It was clear he was no longer alive.

"Hahaha" (Aurora, laughed)

"Arian you..." (Aurora, said)

'TREMBLE'

This scene made her enter into a desperate panic as her body trembled so much as if it could collapse.

Her bloody-stained gloves tried to stay firm sustaining her left hand on his stomach and her right hand wrapped on the back of Arian's back.

She couldn't help to laugh like that in shock as if she had lost all sense of sanity.

It was as if she couldn't process the shock so she turned Arian's body placing her trembling hand on the back of Arian's bloody brain and switched her left hand on his back.

"!!!" (Aurora)

She had held him as if she was holding a baby on the ground and she was sitting on the ground alongside him.

Arian's mouth was covered in blood and his eyes were red as if he had cried.

His face was pale white as he had lost his color and his whole entire body was cold.

'TREMBLE'

'No...No...No....NO!' (Aurora's inner thoughts)

Just seeing Arian like that.

She couldn't accept it.

She shook him various times as if he was going to wake.

"Wake up Arian...it's not funny anymore" (Aurora, said)

Her voice sounded desperate but for the first time in a long time, she was speaking to him gently.

She thought of the times she had cut him off.

She was speaking to him of those times but he did not answer.

She gritted her teeth as if anger would seem to be soon taking over her.

"You got what you wanted. You made me care about you again so wake up please brother" (Arurora, said)

But he did not wake up at the word 'brother' that he wanted to hear.

A person who had witnessed such a scene could not come to comprehend the situation all they could do was beg and deny that it wasn't true.

She couldn't help to hide her emotions any longer.

No matter how she begged softly he did not wake up driving her to the brink of it.

With anger, regret, and confusion.

Aurora hugged him desperately as violent tears began to finally run down her her cheeks in agony, anger, and sufferment.

"ARIAN WAKE UP! WAKE UP! STOP MAKING ME BEG AGAIN LIKE THIS!" (Aurora, yelled)

She let out a desperate horrifying yell naturally drawing some of the Lepiliondel knights who were still fighting the bear.

Since the bear had been covering Both Arian and Aurora they finally witnessed the gruesome scene.

"BROTHER WAKE UP! WAKE UP PLEASE!" (Aurora, yelled)

Aurora continued to yell and beg as her warm tears dropped on Arian's cheeks.

"YOU HAVE TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY ARAIN YOU HAVE TO!" (Aurora, yelled)

"YOU HAVE TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR MAKING ME CARE WHEN I DIDN'T WANT TO CARE ABOUT YOU ANYMORE!" (Aurora, yelled)

'I've cut you off. I pushed you away. I told you to leave. You were no longer my brother and yet you...!" (Aurora's inner thoughts)

'GRIT'

Aurora gritted her teeth angry but still begging him.

"YOU HAVE TO WAKE UP AND TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR MAKING ME CRY! FOR MAKING ME ANGRY! FOR WANTING YOU TO LIVE!" (Aurora, yelled)

'HUG!'

'TREMBLE'

She continued to hug him as if he was frail as her hands were trembling more than her entire body but her tears had overtaken her and her yells became choked up with her crying voice.

"SOB...SOB...WHY...WHY DO YOU HAVE TO DO THIS TO ME? WHY? WHY DID YOU HAVE TO SACRIFICE YOURSELF WHEN I NEVER ASKED YOU?!" (Aurora, yelled)

"AN UNASKED SACRAFICE! I DIDN'T ASK SOB...YOU FOR ANY SOB... AT ALL SO WAKE UP AND TAKE SOB...RESPONSIBILITY FOR MAKING ME LIKE THIS!"ARAIN WAKE UP AND OPEN YOUR EYE'S BROTHER!" (Aurora, yelled)

Yet, he remained unmoved.

Aurora's yelling could not come out and a burning feeling was felt.

As if her heart had been broken all she could do was cry.

She leaned her forehead against Arian's forehead and closed her eyes as her tears kept running down.

All she could do was cry and cry her heart was in so much pain she felt as if she could no longer speak as if she were to get up her trembling legs would not let her.

'Arian...please...why did you do all this....if...if only I knew how to manifest my powers again....please...please' (Aurora's inner thoughts)

Aurora's eyes opened and looked down at the floating neckless on her neck while the Lepiliondel knights who had now finished were looking at her with a shocked expressions.

To be exact she had not opened her eyes because of the golden light from the neckless she had opened her eyes because she felt the same feeling when she manifested her powers.

However, the case was how she had managed to manifest her powers again was unknown to her but when she felt her divine energy infuse on the necklace the old silver necklace was no more that necklace because it had transformed into a necklace she had seen before.

Even down to the initials.

This silver necklace had transformed into the Yverne necklace but it was not the only thing that. had transformed.

Because she was too taken aback she had not noticed that her appearance had been changing alongside the neckless.

Her long wavy fuschia pink hair was no longer that color or that texture.

In fact, it much much longer than before.

It had transformed into 12 feet long white straight silk hair and her eyes had changed into a fushia a pink color along a small circular golden tattoo mark near her collarbone with wings and a crown.

But before she could even react the Yverne necklace's last bottom tip was changing alongside her last hair strands fully transforming at the same time.

The golden holy divine power that surrounded her had shut up right up the sky and spread like an explosion making all the surroundings warm bright golden that surrounded the whole empire.

A golden light that was so blinding and had pushed any person out in close proximity back including the Lepiliondel knights.

It spread through the whole forest grounds while some participants carried animals that they had recently hunted had healed magically coming back to life while the ones who were hurt, some who had old scars all healed as if they had baby skin.

They were in shock with this wave explosion of divine energy especially since they were staring up at a large golden illuminating divine light that still stood up in the shooting sky.

On the tent grounds, the golden divine wave had hit Adelina with widened eyes in shock while the young ladies began to cause a commotion.

And in the elderly tent hut, they were too shooked when some elderly started to feel as if their body had rejuvenated including Marquess Elex whose eyes widened as if he had felt something even the royals had gotten it because the emperor who was hit with the divine energy whole demeanor had changed.

It was as if something that had tied him up had been broken at that moment he started furriously frown at the fake empress who began to panic and grit her there.

The whole forrest training grounds had ended up getting healed from the divine exposition however this diving explosion had spread around the whole empire meaning that commoners or other people had gotten it too.

Every person in the whole Rhone empire had been healed, rejuvenated including any animals present, and anything with nature.

But what was shocking for the religious was the funeral ceremony that a  priest and the supervising higher priest with a veil that covered his face were holding with a variety of people.

The person had just died today in the morning but since that man was of a wealthy family they wasted no time doing so even if there was a hunting ground event.

Count Gero Gins the dead man who donated a lot to the temple besides the Lepiliondel family.

Both over by the nobles and commoners who too were able to attend had come to witness a resurrection.

Because Count Gero's coffin had lifted up.

Their eyes became shocked at Count Gero who rose from the coffin and was alive.

There was no way this could have been works of the demons or black magic because they all felt the immense divine burst of energy and a bunch of temple people including some priests and holy knights had burst open the chapel coming in and getting surprised that Count Gero was alive.

Of course, they were shocked but their situation had been similar after coming from the temple hospital where the holy power had healed all the patients there.

"Higher Priest all the patients in the hospital are healed!" (Priest Samuel, yelled)

"No, look take a look at the large golden light shining up that sky!" (Priest Manny, yelled)

The priests yelled causing more common to the people who went out to see the golden divine light shining up the sky.

"That's where the training grounds are but how? Is that Saintess Adelina's doing?" (Priest Samuel, asked)

"No, that is our goddess holy Althea who has come from the heavens" (Arbischop Ernest, said)

He had walked in on the picture with a proud smile looking at the direction of the golden light.

And that was precisely what it was.

Aurora was surrounded by the golden light with the Yverne necklace and her different appearance.

She did not understand it all yet but her attention turned down to look at Arian whose hands were starting to feel how his skin was healing magically and how she could no longer feel his brain in fact Arian's body had completely healed.

Even his color had come back.

"Brother!" (Aurora, said)

She didn't know if it was her beating heart that had beat in relief and happiness or if it was Arian's who had actually come back to life.

'Swish'

The golden divine energy that shot up to the sky had now disappeared.

And Arian's eyes opened up slowly.

"Aurora?" (Arian, asked)

He said talking to her as if he had just woken from a sleep however her features were different but her face still resembled her and the pink dress she had on she was still wearing it.

She looked as if she had been crying for a long time.

So he began to try to get up as she called him or tried to call him.

"Broth-" (Aurora, said)

But before she could finish calling him her eyes shut unexpectedly as if she was now entering slumber.

"Aurora!" (Arian, yelled)

'Grab'

Arian immediately caught her now holding her as if she were a baby just the way she was holding him except resting on her knees so that she would not touch the dirty ground.

"OI! SISTER WAKE UP!" (Arian, yelled)

Sweat drops fell as he tried to shake her to wake up while she was detransforming back to her usual features but now it was her who was unresponsive.
