Chapter 27: Wipe Them With Beauty

While Arian on the other hand stared at Aurora with a acheing expression.

His lips trembled as if he was holding back to yell at her from the distance.

What the hell did he want in the first place?

What was he going to tell her?

Was he going to reclaim her again?

Was he going to tell her he had unconsiously expected her to give him a gift?

'I'm a fool...Aurora doesn't...' (Arian's inner thoughts)

And without any more thought he headed on his own this time ignoring Marquess Elex and Adelina.

"Arian where are you going?" (Marquess Elex, asked)

He asked with a warning tone.

"Brother your cufflikns" (Adelina, said)

Adelina said with a sad pitfull expression that she was being rejected and neglected by her brother.

He had not accepted Adelina's cufflikns and he was disregarding Marquess Elex's words.

His expression was so sad and disappointed enough that Marquess Elex, Adelina, and every noble watching had noticed Arian state of being.

Naturally, everyone turned to look at the cause of his misery but that person was long gone.

-First entrance, inside tent 3-

There were 6 large tents in total.

One the royal family tent, second the tent for the elders, third a tent full of young ladies, fourth tent a tenth of young men, fifth a tent for children, and finally a sixth tent for the servants.

The ladies tent was quite large as all the other tents but because of this year's competition the Emperor had allowed to open more hunting space for the hunt so more people felt challenged and entered it.

It was said to be an entertainment so a lot of nobles and commoners who participated showed up.

Luckily Aurora did not have to deal with the fake Empress or the Emperor who were sectioned in the royal tent.

She wouldn't have met the two princes because they had been sent to hunt first than any other participant.

She didn't want to be involved with the old ladies from yesterday and was just lucky they too were sectioned on the elders tent however this was also a two-edged sword.

She had no bodyguards with her and the only guards guarding the tent were at the very entrance of the tent being one Knight on each side the same for the back entrance.

And in this tent, a very very full tent of noble ladies gazing at her who sat in a very small circular tables.

On the far corner that was almost exposed to the sun but another tree had blocked her in the shade a little she decided to sit there.

It wasn't that there were no empty seats it was more the looks that everyone had given her.

Each noble lady seemed to have formed their own noble group and unwilling to get close to her.

Some even went to the lengths of calling one of the Rhone Imperial knights to move their circular table further away from her isolating her from any other table.

She paid no attention to them and ignored them.

Instead, she focussed on the map that each individual received of the area.

The men of course participated in the hunt however there were safe zone sections where docile animals resided and the beautiful flowers scenery that was safe zone to walk.

That was the purple section.

The black section was for hunters who had more skill, the red section bows were for only the best of the best since dangerous unknown animals appeared.

A yellow and green flag where for the hunting participants who were average hunters.

'Huh? They have flowers...red flowers there' (Aurora's inner thoughts)

Her eyes had lightened up a little remembering Dorion's red rubby eyes.

At the end of the competition a man would dedicate their prey to a noble lady and the more people who received the prey dedicated to them would become the queen of the hunting competition.

Perhaps she wouldn't mind walking around a little to the purple section since she wasn't going to do anything for the time being.

'Would he like a rose or it's that too-' (Aurora's inner thoughts)

'Snatch'

However, before she could finish her thought someone had snatched her map away.

"Ah so she was looking at the map" (Ruveni, said)

Young Baroness Lady Ruveni, age twenty.

A lady with two orange hair twirls and brown eyes that matched her freckles.

"Wait Ruveni isn't that-" (Turry, said)

Young countess Lady Turry, age twenty-one.

A lady with a mixture of grey and dark blue straight hair and dark green eyes leaned to see what Lady Ruveni had grabbed however she halted mid ways as if she noticed something but the main character had stopped her and grabbed the map away placing it in front of Aurora with a smile.

"Sister you don't mind if me and my friends sit right?" (Adelina, asked)

Adelina asked already sitting herself down as the two ladies and two more lady friends with brown and black hair sat down.

'I didn't say you could sit...' (Aurora's inner thoughts)

She frowned a little under her hat net.

Now everyone's attention was directly on them.

Adelina had done this purpose.

"Say sister, I saw you back there giving His Highness Prince Dorion a gift how come you didn't give any to Father and brother?" (Adelina, asked)

'Haa..what's this now?' (Aurora's inner thoughts)

She scoffed silently under her breath amazed by Adelina's words.

Since when had she called Dorion by a respectful name but the part that amazed her more was the blushing cheeks she was trying to hide.

Aurora wasn't so dull that she hadn't noticed that Adelina had taken a liking to Dorion.

"Brother was so sad he couldn't part his eyes away he had not received anything from you he even left without receiving my cufflinks at how upset he was" (Adelina, said)

"Do you know how sad that made me feel?" (Adelina, asked)

Adelina began to add on and started acting pitfully.

"I couldn't gift my cufflinks because of you...you are so ungrateful" (Adelina, said)

"The least you could have done was come and greet us" (Adelina, said)

'I'm ready to ruin your image in front of all these noble ladies, today is a perfect day to spread rumors about you...I had hoped the rumors that I spread for yesterday's incident would spread faster but upsettingly they didn't' (Adelina's inner thoughts)

'There is no way you could escape with so much eyes on you, if you ever think of stepping foot in society you will have no face...simple as that you are nothing' (Adelina's inner thoughts)

'I'm the only one they have to admire not a trash repulsive existence like you' (Adelina's inner thoughts)

"I heard many rumors about you to think you were so mean to your family member aren't you ashamed?" (Paloma, asked)

Young Baroness Lady Paloma, age twenty-two

A lady with brown hair and light green eyes asked her with a snicker as she held her tea.

As soon as they had sat down the servers had served them tea as they chatted but they did not serve Aurora.

As soon as they were done they left without looking at Aurora.

'...' (Aurora)

Aurora's head was looking at the servants rather than at the Palom lady who was speaking.

"Oh if you want I can give you my tea, although it's not as good as the lavender tea that they ban this green tea is perfect "(Briget, said)

"I can spare for people in need" (Bridget, said)

Young Countess Lady Bridget, age twenty-three.

A lady with short straight black hair and purple eyes said as if she was feeding Aurora a second hand.

'Flinch'

Aurora flinched at the word 'lavender' tea and froze.

These ladies misunderstood and added on.

"What a shame it's not as good as the lavender tea...it's sad that the ships where boomed after the merchants had ignored someone's warning apparently for banning the lavender tea" (Turry, said)

'A merchant boomed the boats...?' (Aurora's inner thoughts)

They were using this conversation to look down on her however this had caught her interest.

'Don't tell me he...no he wouldn't...would he?' (Aurora's inner thoughts)

She remembered that he had also promised to ban the lavender tea but the ladies only kept adding on.

"Talk about bad luck the families getting bankrupt like that was just a shock too I couldn't imagine all thoes bad deeds that they did" (Ruveni, said)

"To think they were such file people who hanged with the dear saintess, how could they have the decency to approach her" (Bridget, said)

She said loudly as she was mad for Adelina's behalf.

'Scrunch'

Aurora scrunched her eyes and looked at the ladies.

'Now that I think about it her old group of noble friends are not with her today...these are new ladies...' (Aurora's inner thoughts)

She began to remember again that Dorion left early in the morning to destroy some families sparking more doubt and began to believe it was all his doing.

"Ladies, ladies it's  okay the only thing they should do is ask for gods forgiveness, I have already forgiven them I'm sure they had no bad intentions" (Adelina, said)

'How would I know that those useless girls were going to be so crooked I'm lucky their disastrous reputation didn't ruin mine' (Adelina's inner thoughts)

'Anyways these four stupid new ladies are drifting apart from my purpose today, let's give them some guidance' (Adelina's inner thoughts)

"You're so kind, saintess like always" (Ladies, said)

All the ladies said in sync.

"No it was just the right thing to do" (Adelina, said)

Although she wouldn't mind more praise in front of Aurora.

"Unlike me, my sister is quite different it appears" (Adelina, said)

But soon turned her attention to Aurora to instigate.

"We have lived under the same roof and I have done everything to blend her cold heart but it seems that she considers herself higher than everyone else" (Adelina, said)

"I thought she was just being rebellious enough for her jealousy towards me but to do such things it's utterly..." (Adelina, said)

Adelina said with a sad expression as if she was traumatized.

'There she goes with that same line' (Aurora's inner thoughts)

'I have already listen to it counts of times' (Aurora's inner thoughts)

' I lost track at how many times she has overused this line' (Aurora's inner thoughts)

At this point, she wasn't amazed at what Adelina had to say except for the next words that Adelina knew  how to use very well.

"What do you mean Lady Adelina? " (Paloma, asked)

"What does that mean Saintess? What did she do?" (Ruveni, asked)

"Ah well...a couple of years ago my sister went inside my mother's sacred place...she recked it and danced on top of mother's ashes" (Adelina, said)

"I knew she hated me so much because I had gotten everything but she had no right to treat mother's place like that especially knowing how hurt brother and father were" (Adelina, said)

"I forgave her because the goddess would have wanted me to forgive her, even my mother for her horrific disgusting sin but she was my sister after all, she was still small so how could I blame a child for jealousy and obsession for the things they couldn't have" (Adelina, said)

"I had naturally become the holder of the divine powers like mother and inherited more beauty as I grew up better but I didn't think it could lead to this extent..." (Adelina, said)

'Thump'

At that moment Aurora's heart beat as if it shrunk.

This conversation was a conversation she could not move on.

It was the most that hurt because it was her mother's sacred room.

It had not been Aurora who did this but the fact that her mother's sacred room and ashes were like this was because of Adelina.

Aurora's heart hurt and angered her stomach.

She wanted to throw up in disgust at how hypocritical Adelina was.

She simply had no remorse nor regret doing that to her own mother's sacred place.

She didn't even feel bad seeing Arian's and her father's face.

Just to get to Aurora, if she wasn't selfish and obsessed then she didn't know what it was.

'Grit'

Her teeth unconsciously gritted and her lips finally opened.

"Stop it with the lout's card just because your face matches an angel it doesn't mean your black rotten heart does" (Aurora, said)

She said with a scoff and anger.

'Grit'

Adelina hid her grit and continued on with her pitiful sad act.

She wanted Aurora to look bad and she was already doing it very well calling everyone's attention.

"Sister how could you?" (Adelina, asked)

"Can you just shut up and move to another table, you and your friends are bothering me"(Aurora, said)

"I never allowed you to sit down right?" (Aurora, asked)

She asked coldly as the ladies quickly replied.

"Ha, so your really as rude as they-" (Bridget, said)

'Turn'

Aurora turned to look at Bridget.

"And you are really annoying, all of you" (Aurora, said)

She said bluntly.

"Ha!" (Bridget)

Bridget's eyes widen as if amazed with a scoff at Aurora's arrogant attitude.

'Turn'

Aurora turned to look at Adelina before giving her the chance or the ladies to say something.

She could already feel everybody staring at them.

'Creak'

She got up from her chair.

"Honestly it's getting pretty annoying just seeing your face, I don't care if you want to come and pick a fight acting pride and prejudiced but leave our mothers conversation out of your mouth" (Aurora, said)

"You and I both know it wasn't me but you. At least I have regrets for letting you reck our mother's sacred place for your own benefit "(Aurora, said)

'Take off'

The instant Aurora took off her hat her face came into view to all the noble ladies in the entire tent who were watching from their seats or standing up trying to  hear the conversation.

This included even the servants who had noticed everyone's attention shifted with a different atmosphere.

Everyone's jaws were wide open including their eyes.

And their cheeks were completely blushed as if they were looking at the most beautiful human being in the whole entire empire.

The male servants and knights that were there automatically became enamored by her beauty and some noble ladies easily displayed a fan girl face at such beauty.

All these noble ladies sitting at the table were the same, not even their words could come out the only one who was not in that state was Adelina who gritted her teeth in anger.

"You on the other hand lack in comparison to me in many ways" (Aurora, said)

"I'm quite more beautiful than you, and I'm your portable divine power, you are in that place thanks to me " (Aurora, said)

"Remember that because it won't last very long" (Aurora, said)

Her lips finally raised a little into a smile looking down at Adelina.

Even if Aurora's smile was not with a good purpose people should be mad but that did not happen.

She was even more beautiful as she smiled.

When she turned to look at the distance and showcased her side profile almost all the noble ladies fainted at even her beautiful side profile.

Aurora only side glanced at Adelina.

"I'm leaving since you have no intention of doing so" (Aurora, said)

'Put on'

Aurora put the hat back again and walked away as everyone stared at her with red blushed up faces and Adelina looked at her gritting her teeth except there was someone who had been watching from afar enjoying the scene that had finally approached.

"What a show, I knew each time you spoke of your eldest sister like that was for other reasons" (Rupelia, said)

"Knowing how two-face you are it was obvious that someone had to be better than you just like I am but it seems your sister has beat me this time" (Rupelia, said)

Young Marchioness Lady Rupelia, age twenty-two.

Rupelia Dions the first daughter of Marchiqess Robertzo Dions and Marchioness Dorrellin Dions.

One of the most beautiful ladies in the empire that threatened Adelina's beauty position that was till Aurora's face was shown in front of the nobility.

Rupelia Dions has long red wavy hair, blue eyes, and red lips.

She looked just like the little Mermaid from a storybook, she even had the same hairstyle vangs.

Although the only difference was that Rupelia had more chest and butt than that little mermaid wearing a dark green dress with dark purple hints.

As luck had had Rupelia was also the lady years ago who had thrown whine on Adelina's dress just simply because she found Adelina annoying.

"Sister she was so pretty I wish I could have gotten a closer look at her!" (Davina, said)

And right being her.

Young Marchioness Davina Dions age seventeen.

She looked exactly like her sister except that her bangs were parted beautifully they looked quite voluminous which made it look so effortlessly good.

She however on the other hand had heterochromia.

Her left eye was a dark green color and her right eye was blue color.

Others would be easy to judge but how could you if in fact that made her even more beautiful including her small black beauty mark on her right cheekbone before her right eye.

She too had naturally red lips just making her parallel to her sister's beauty.

Both sisters actually had the same personality when it came to teaming up and defeating ladies like Adelina.

Rupelia had more of the arrogant strong attitude that only spoke to those who deserved it and those who were not fake.

Basic persons who were not greedy for power.

And Davina had just started to show her face in nobility, well to be exact when the whole Dions family had a part they all attended so today like any other day that her parents attended she came along, except this time she and her sister were station separately from their parents.

That applied to all the noble ladies who had not had a coming-of-age part since they were underage and the smaller children of the age who were in a different tent.

She loved her sister and looked up to her, they had a cousin but he happened to be participating as well and that was the captain of the Rhone Imperial Knight Lexious Smith but that was beside the point.

Davina was the second daughter of the Dions family.

Marquess Dions and Marchioness Dions only had two daughters and no sons.

They like the Lepiliondel family were in equal terms of wealth and noble power discarding the fact that they did not involve themselves with the noble faction supporting no one.

This included the temple, they had never donated to the temple, a quite stain in their name according to all the nobles and even the commoners but they still did not care.

They found themself no reason to donate especially when Adelina was the saint.

In other words, they hated to involve themselves in politics and the temple yet each family aimed for their family more for support to have them side with them be it royal or for other purposes.

The Dions family and the Lepiliondel family were also house enemies so Adelina did not hate just Rupelia but her father hated the Marquess Dions as well.

Arian could care less about them because he didn't involve himself in such things the only thing  he did was stay in the mansion and train.

He hardly went to parties unless if he was dragged or accompanied Adelina.

And he really had no interest in the ladies it was just him and his sword.

The rest of his day was just to pick a fight with Aurora who never left her room but now that she was gone Airan had been swinging the sword day and night.

And these two sisters were also quite the pair now Davina was adding fuel to the fire.

"Looking at this Saintess now she's quite not so good looking as the eldest sister, I can't help but side with her" (Davina, said)

"To me, it seems that it was more like that cornflake-haired old Saintess was just jealous of her pretty sister" (Davina, said)

She raised  her hands up to cover her snicker and showed an innocent face as her eyes were looking down at Adelina.

She was only giving a piece of mind of how white louts Adelina was.

'What did this little...say?!' (Adelina's inner thoughts)

Adelina got up like a spring and looked directly at Rupelia instead of Davina.

"Lady Rupelia do you know that your sister is offending not only the Lepilondel family but the very temple itself?" (Adelina, asked)

"It seems that the Dions family lacks manners perhaps it/s not your sister's fault but yours from where she'd learned" (Adelina, said)

Adelina looked up at Rueplia since Rupelia was the same height as Aurora.

'Smirk'

Rupelia's lips rose as if she was waiting for that line, the fact was that Davina was only using it as a normal method of acting this way when she knew Rupelia did not like someone so naturally Davina found something to pick at and Rupelia loved to add more spiceful words.

It was more humiliating for a noble lady to be called out by a younger one especially when they were right so that's simply how these sisters work when Davina wasn't around.

That didn't mean that Rupelia couldn't defend herself in  fact she was very capable.

"Really? You just got up just now, wow it's amazing to think that you remained sitted down even when you never received permission from a higher person" (Rupelia, said)

"Or perhaps did I hear wrong?" (Rupelia, asked)

She smiled as if she was looking down at Adelina.

"You're twenty years old and you don't know etiquette yourself, how do you still have face to judge my sister who hasn't reached of age" (Rupelia, said)

Everyone's eyes were on them, it was shameful everyone knew and Adelina herself could feel it.

Some noble ladies were laughing including Davina in the back.

'Rupelia Dions I will not let-' (Adelina's inner thoughts)

But before her crumpling expression would give her away with such thoughts Rupelia had caught something that had widened her eyes but quickly moved away from the thing that drew  her attention and leaned near Adelina's ear with a waring provocation.

"We both know we hate each other's guts, you're simply a fucken bitch that's what you are but I didn't realize how truly disgusting you are" (Rupelia, said)

"I had gained an interest, there might not be just shallow here in this entire nobility faction full of fake bitches like you" (Rupelia, said)

"Unlike you, your sister is much more beautiful so beautiful you can't even compare to the bottom of her heels...if you think I won't report what you and your little click are planning then I'm afraid you're very wrong" (Rupelia, said)

"You knew where she was heading and you know that the map was not accurate, you're repulsive" (Rupelia, said)

"You better pray nothing happens to your sister, after all, she's the wife of the strongest man of this empire...I'm sure you heard the rumors, I happened to see how he bought the neckless for 2,000 million gold" (Rupelia, sadi)

"I was shocked but the moment I saw their faces it was obvious they deserve each other not because of some stupid piece of shit birthplace or a prophecy said by some old geezers but because they genuinely look like they deserve each other" (Rupelia, said)

"If you don't know what that means then I'm sure what the phrase close your mouth or your blabber might fall out" (Rupleila, said)

"Don't go after men that don't belong to you especially those that don't ever spare a glance at you, just because he's attractive doesn't mean you can try to steal your own sister's man" (Rupelia, said)

"Although I doubt that would happen with your average-looking face, it's a lost cause he's too infatuated with your sister...I'd be more afraid of the consequences if she would get hurt" (Rupelia, said)

"Who knows I might get to see your head roll for once" (Rupelia, said)

Rupelia finally leaned away from Adelina who greeted her teeth furiously with a distorted face while Davina continued to laugh.

"Saintess that crumpled face will form some wrinkles, I have a very good cream for future wrinkles I will make sure to send you some, bye, bye" (Davina, said)

She humiliated Adelina even more as Davina waved goodbye following her sister in the direction of the elder's tenth.

-Purple area-

"Haa" (Aurora, sighed)

Aurora sighed stressed.

'I was so irritated that I forgot the map...at least I'm in the purple area a safe zone but why does it feel like I have been walking for a very long time?' (Aurora's inner thoughts)

She was so irritated that by the time she had walked to the purple zone she had barely noticed she had not taken the map.

Although she wasn't as stressed since this was the safe area and she had only moved in a straight line so she would only have to go back straight.

She had been careful with her steps however how long had it been really she had walked that she started to sweat.

'Take off'

'Fan'

She took off her hat and began to fan it like a fan trying to give herself some fresh air.

'Well if it isn't just heat coming out, just great' (Aurora's inner thoughts)

She thought a little bothered.

She knew it wasn't going to give her some cool air fanning it like that considering this boiling climate but why not give it a try?

'Fan, Fan'

'Snatch'

She continued to fan herself and closed her as for a while taking a break however as she continued to fan herself someone or something had snatched her hat.

"Huh?!" (Aurora, said)

She exclaimed startled and looked at the person oh yeah, what it was an animal.

"Hohoha, ha, hooo, haha, hoha" (Monkey, sounds)

A playful monkey had snatched her hat.

'Gongo?' (Aurora's inner thoughts)

A monkey a yellow color with brown an exact real-life version of her stuffed monkey Gongo that she used to have before Arian had ripped it to pieces.

"Hohoha, ha, hooo, haha, hoha" (Monkey, sounds)

The monkey continued to run making happy playful sounds as it moved at fast speeds hanging on different trees moving away.

"Hey! You!" (Aurora, yelled)

Uncoiously she had followed the monkey trying to get her hat.

"Give me the hat back! Monkey!" (Aurora, yelled)

-A few moments later-

"Great..." (Aurora, said)

She looked at the large three with a purple ribbon tied.

That monkey had made her run in this excruciating heat, she had become sweaty, her hair was all ruffled up, and now she had deviated from her only straight path.

The worst was that the monkey had made a fool of her and outruned her taking the hat away.

The only good thing was that she was still in the purple section.

'I'm starting to begin to doubt that those who organized the purple safe son are unintelligent... where is there a sense of precaution there is not even one single fence that protects large animals from coming in here nor is it to block any nobles's protection' (Aurora's inner thoughts)

'The safe zones are clearly for children and women why wouldn't they put more precaution into arranging the safe zones better?' (Auroa's inner thoughts)

She was so deep in thought that she had not noticed what she was searching for.

'Shine'

Something  seemed to shine reflecting the sun rays of the sun.

'Turn'

Aurora turned to look at what shined.

"Ah...that's!" (Aurora, said)

At the very far end, she had found the tall bush with red roses whose petals seemed to be made of soft silk that shined of red including the center of the rose that had a golden color as if it was made of real gold and the center that attracted and reflected the sun rays.

Well, it wasn't that bad then.

It was a beautiful hat that she had lost, the reason why she wanted to keep her hat was for memory, not because it was beautiful.

Well, the hat was beautiful but she had loved to collect things that held memory, just like today.

She wanted to guard her dress, her heels, her gloves, her scarf, and her hat as a memory that she had worn it the day she went to see Dorion's first hunt, and well the first day she was and he had gone out together rather than under disguises.

She also kept his cape, and mask and so did she with her cape and mask.

Some people might consider that weird but for a person that hardly had pleasant memories, it was a safe haven to look at beautiful memories to remind her she was finally free, to be able and be happy.

But on the bright side at least chasing the monkey had directed her to the red rose flowers.

She had actually read about these flowers in the books and each time those flowers came to mind it always reminded her of him.

Even when she was small her mind would drift and think about how he was faring off.

Now she had the opportunity to pick some flowers so why not gift them as a welcome back gift?

'Badump'

Somehow her heart began to beat a little.

'Sniff'

She leaned and sniffed the flowers.

'It smells just as I pictured them' (Aurora's inner thoughts)

Her cheeks painted a pink color as her lips raised a little into a small smile as if a happy freedom was in the air.

Perhaps that was a simple of her freedom.

These flowers smelled very fragrant, elegant, and with a touch of sweetness.

They were not poisonous and unlike other roses, they had no thorns.

'Lean away'

She leaned away and stretched her hand out to grab the stem of the red roses called 'Luminous Red Rose' and gently picked one out.

'Twirl'

She twirled it around gently by the stem admiring it happily when she heard a growling behind.

'Turn'

She turned to look behind her and right a few feet away was a very very intimidating bear who was growling and walking slowly.

"Grrrr" (Bear, growling)

'Freeze'

Her body immediately entered a frozen state.

Her legs that wanted to move could not move and her body began to tremble in fear.

'My...body doesn't move...I can't run away...I-I need to run away' (Aurora's inner thoughts)

This time sweat dripped from fright instead of the heat of the weather.

Now the bear was approaching closer stopping and opening its large mouth.

"Grrrrr!" (Bear, growling)

The bear growled louder than before.

Some can say the clam before the storm and that was exactly what happening because right after the little pause this bear seemed furious.

'Run'

"GRRRR!" (Bear, growling)

The bear growled so loud dashing toward her in a fast four-legged run.

"!" (Aurora)

"AHHHHH!" (Aurora, yelled)

Her body still could not move and the bear had already come so close to her she let out a very terrified loud yell.

"GROWL!!" (Bear, growling)

But it was too late the bear growled so loud that it was a match to her horrified scream, the bear launched itself standing up pulling out its claws in front of her at a very high height.

'Is this how I'll die again-' (Aurora's inner thoughts)

Her body did not move as the bear was about to swing its large claws someone's body had thrown themselves protecting her and shielding her from the bear covering her completely as if the person was hiding her from the bear.

"ARGH!" (Arian, screamed)

"GROWL" (Bear, growling)

And that person was no other than her brother Arian was now defending her and taking the bear's claws that had penetrated and opened his flesh back.

She could not see who it was since she was crunched down and the person covered her but she recognized the person.

And she had felt how gruesome the bear had ripped his skin, loud for her to hear, strong to feel how Arian's body was being pushed down on her back each time the bear's heavy claw paws attacked him.

His grip on his hand became tighter but his head that was sunken down on her back somehow felt loose as if he was losing his strength.

"I couldn't...keep my promise...to protect..you before" (Arian, said)

His voice was pained as if it was costing him effort to speak, and his voice sounded with less strength as if he was losing his breath while warm liquid had fallen on her back.

A lot of liquid with the scent of blood.

His voice had a very genuine sorrow and regret that made her heart ache as he continued to speak and she felt his body become more torn by the bear.

Arian's hands that were protecting her finally loosed grip and she could no longer feel his beating heart but could feel his body move as the bear continued to attack his unmoved body.
