***Alright Now Continuation Of Chapter 19...
"-we she" (Kidnapper one, said)
"Pretty an-" (Kidnapper two, said)
"-ust do-" (Kidnapper one, said)
Unclear voices were heard at a very close proximity as Aurora was finally regaining her consciousness.
'Who's voices...' (Aurora's inner thoughts)
She thought as her closed eyes began to slowly open frowning her eyebrows trying to adjust her sight again.
"Oh she's waking up" (Kidnappner two, said)
Aurora finally opened her eyes and gazed upon two men who crunch down facing her.
It was clear that she had been kidnapped and in this situation, she had been tied up as she sat on the old dusty floor with tied arms in front.
Her dark blue eyes glanced at the back hard oak pole that stood as a structure for an abandoned room that looked more like a cabin.
Her back rested against the hard pole.
There were a few wooden boxes sealed with what looked like cargo, a small fireplace that was small lit hardly giving some light in the small cabin space alongside the moonlight of the moon on a medium-sized metal barred window.
Near the dark brown old oak door where what seemed to be a couch covered with a dusty white sheet cover to prevent dust from getting in.
Her dark blue eyes looked at the men again.
"My sister sent you right?" (Aurora, asked)
Someone like her is capable of performing such a bad plan without the backup of the fake empress.
The fake empress could never plan something so risk-taking so it was clear who had done it.
She had asked them with an expressionless face and unreadable eyes.
It was a question but more like a comment, she knew who had done it so there was no need for them to try and lie about it.
'Flinch'
The two men flinched immediately.
'....' (Aurora)
As predicted, these men were not experienced she was sure this was probably their first time getting involved in the kidnapping.
These men clearly looked stupid.
However, they tried to act tuff to fool her.
"We are not allowed to say our contractor's name, all that you need to know is that you are here" (Kidnapper one, said)
A skinny man with brown ash hair with black eyes and some freckles said with a prettend cold voice.
Acting as if he were professional.
"What do you want then?" (Aurora, asked)
She asked with a somehow bothersome tone.
"Ha, well nothing else than your blood" (Kidnapper two, said)
Another man, a little more chunky than the skinny man replied with a snicker.
He had dark brown hair with dark brown eyes.
'...' (Aurora)
She couldn't help to frown a little with her dark blue eyes annoyed.
"Don't worry we are not going to poke you yet were going to have fun with you first" (Kidnapper two, said)
At her frown, he smirked pervertedly rubbing his hands together sticking his thumb, and licking his lips with a red face.
"Hey, man are you sure... that Archbishop is about to arrive" (Kidnapper one, said)
However kidnapper one intervened with a little worried complexion looking at the kidnapper two.
'Archibishop?' (Auora's inner thoughts)
She couldn't help but wonder what an Archbishop had coming here.
I guess she had underestimated Adelina's favor amongst the temple.
"Hmph that's why we have to hurry" (Kidnapper two, said)
The kidnapper two said as he clicked his tongue annoyed at the kidnapper one for asking.
'Turn'
The kidnapper one took a pause to think and turned to look at Aurora who had her long fushia pink hair down wearing a purple lavender dress with not much fluff, quite like a good thin summer dress.
"Well she is very pretty" (Kidnapper one, said)
He stared at her up and down checking her out as he touched his chin.
"And her skin is very soft" (Kidnapper two, said)
The kidnapper two reached out to touch her collarbone with his nasty hands against her skin and a perceptive red face.
"In fact, she must be the most beautiful woman in this entire empire, I've never seen anything like her before" (Kidnapper two, said)
'Frown'
Aurora frowned in anger.
"Oh don't be scared, I promise we will be gentle" (Kidnapper two, said)
He looked at her as if she were a cat whose hair had raised in anger.
'I won't let him' (Auora's inner thoughts)
If she wanted to leave she had to do what was more convenient.
What would set her free if they were so foolish, they would definitely fall.
"Untie me and I'll compile" (Aurora, said)
She said with an unfaced voice but at the same time, it sounded like a command.
"What?" (Kidapper two, asked)
The kidnapper two's hands unconsciously withdrew from her skin with a confused face.
"Don't you want to have fun?" (Aurora, asked)
"Wouldn't it be fun if I too played?" (Aurora, asked)
She leaned toward him with a seductive face.
"I-" (Kidnapper two, said)
At her beautiful seductive face, the kidnapper couldn't help to be taken aback.
"No, you just want to tick us so you can escape" (Kidnapper one, said)
"Do you think we are stupid?" (Kidnapper one, asked)
However, it did not work for kidnapper one who seemed to be a little bit more brighter.
Still, he was flustered, she could see it.
"And where would I escape if I have two strong men in front of me?" (Aurora, asked)
Her dark blue eyes looked at kidnapper one alluring him.
"You said so yourself that we are in an abandoned hidden area and the windows are barred how do you expect me to run away?" (Aurora, asked)
She had heard them whisper silently as they thought conflicted over what to do.
Calling them strong and making them feel secure by the location obviously brought good benefit to convince them.
"Well she's right, plus if we are quick since she's being obedient there's no way the Archibishop would catch us" (Kidnapper one, said)
She had finally convinced him while the second kidnapper nodded in agreement.
'Reach'
Kidnapper two was about to reach to untie her but she spoke again halting his step.
"You are gentlemen right? Can you make that couch comfortable?" (Aurora, asked)
She asked them with a pitiful expression.
"...." (Kidnapper one, and Kidnapper two)
They looked at each other.
Kidnapper one nodded to kidnapper two.
'Stand'
Kidnapper one got up and walked over to the couch to prepare it.
'Grab'
Kidnapper two grabbed her hands and started untying her.
'Thud'
The rope fell down and the kidnapper two got up and looked down at her who was rubbing her wrist at the red-tied marks.
"You better not try anything funny" (Kidnapper two, said)
He looked down at her as she began to get up and leaned her left hand on the tall dark brown old wood pole.
"It seems I have a rock in my heel I will take it off first" (Aurora, said)
She said with an acting face that pretended to truly have a rock inside her heel as she lifted her leg and unbuckled her heel.
"...." (Kidnapper two)
Luckily the kidnapper two only scanned her taking off her shoe and turning it upside down to take the rock off but before the rock could fall off he had gazed to look at the kidnapper one to see if he was done.
But in that instant, he let down his guard.
'Hit'
'Thud'
Aurora had hit the back of his head hard with the heel knocking him out unconsciously and with some blood off from the back of his head.
'Turn'
"?!" (Kidnapper one)
Immediately kidnapper one turned around and stared at the bloody unconscious kidnapper two and Aurora standing holding a lavender purple heel with both hands while wearing one lavender purple heel.
She looked like she was huffing for air but still had a very strong angry look.
"You!" (Kidnapper one, yelled)
Kidnapper one dashed out to chase after her.
'Step, Step'
Running.
Aurora began to run or at least tried to run in this small space however because of the large tall cargo boxes some had unintentionally covered her way.
'Grab'
"Argh!" (Aurora, screamed)
Kidnapper one had managed to grab her elbow harshly trying to take her heel away.
"Give me that!" (Kidnaper one, yelled)
"Let go!" (Aurora, yelled)
She raised her voice with struggle.
She had not eaten in a long time and this skinny man was unexpectedly strong.
"You shouldn't have-argh!!" (Kidnaper one, yelled)
'Kick'
The kidnapper who had her elbow had moved up to Aurora's wrist trying to remove her heel, he had received a hard kick to the stomach with Aurora's heeled feet.
'Thud'
"Argh!" (Kidnapper one, yelled)
Kidnapper one unconsciously let her go and dropped down on his knees hugging his stomach.
"You argh!" (Kidnapper one, yelled)
"Bitch!" (Kidnapper one, yelled)
He had dropped one of his hands and placed them down on the wooden floor looking down as his other hand held his stomach.
He complained of pain as his vision was becoming blurry.
'Hit'
'Thud'
Because he was focused on looking down in pain Aurora hit him in the head with the heel she held onto finally knocking him down.
"Haa" (Aurora, breathed)
She breathed heavily trying to catch her breath.
She looked down at the two unconscious kidnappers.
'Drop'
Her heel had dropped near the kidnappers as she wiped her sweaty forehead with her hand still trying to catch her breath.
After a few seconds of catching her breath, she looked up towards the door with a firm determined expression.
'Step'
She took a step to lean and reach out for her heel in order to walk out the door with her heels but heard steps approaching the door.
'Don't tell me there was another kidnapper?' (Aurora's inner thoughts)
'....Unless it's the Archbishop?' (Aurora's inner thoughts)
She thought worriedly.
In a rush, she left her heel on the ground and jumped over the tall cargo box to hide herself there.
She shut her mouth tightly with her hands as she scuttled her legs together to hide any fabric of her lavender purple dress.
'Bang'
Soon the old dark wooden door burst open.
"What is all this?" (Archbishop Ernest, asked)
Archbishop Ernest, age fifty said with a shocked voice.
He wore an all-white Archbishop vestment with a golden wide stole that matched the golden shown in the stole in his white with golden tall Arbihibishop hat.
He had dark grey hair with dark old hair and dark grey eyes.
'Scan'
His dark grey eyes scanned the room obviously spotting both unconscious kidnappers with some spilled blood and one of Aurora's lavender purple heel on the fool.
He did not move away from the door.
"This..." (Archbishop Ernest, said)
He said with a click of his tongue annoyed at their incompetence.
He really didn't want to be here in the first place and these men only brought more trouble to his mind.
'Step, Step, Step'
Walking.
However, he still continued to walk after spotting her lavender-purple blood-stained heel.
'...' (Archbishop Ernest's inner thoughts)
'Tremble'
Aurora couldn't help to tremble at the sight of that man approaching.
A higher up from the temple, the thought of being discovered by him made her unconsciously panic not counting that she no longer had the strength to stand she had a very exhausted day for things to turn out worse.
She covered her mouth more tightly hoping he'd just walk away and glancing down at her spare heel.
'Step, Step'
Walking.
His steps were approaching her closer.
She knew that he had noticed that she must have been hiding behind the tall cargo boxes.
'Reach'
At the same time, the Archbishop was about to reach out towards the tall cargo boxes as well as her trembling hand was going to reach to pull out her spare heel to hit him.
Till everything stopped.
"Take one more dam step" (Dorion, said)
"I dare" (Dorion, said)
A familiar cold furious voice sounded from the very entrance.
'Halt'
Both the Archbishop's hand had stopped and so did Aurora's hand to reach towards her heel.
"!" (Aurora)
Aurora's eyes widen as well as the Archbishop's.
'Turn'
The Archbishop turned around frightened at the sight of Dorion's voice.
"!" (Archbishop Ernest)
"Ah, y-you are..." (Archbishop Ernest, said)
His words became choked as he tried to speak up in fright.
He clearly knew who this furious man was.
'Tremble'
Archbishop Ernest trembled at Dorion's presence.
Dorion's red eyes furiously glared at the Archbishop.
Dorion was covered in sweat even his hair was mishaelved.
Dorion's red eyes who were stuck on the trembling Archbishop turned to the bottom a couple of feet away from the Archbishop Ernest's feet.
Dorion had smelled fresh blood.
And if two unconscious men were not obvious Aurora's lavender purple heel was there.
"!!" (Dorion)
Dorion's red furious eyes widen at the sight of one of Aurora's lavender-purple heels.
"What the hell have you done with my wife?!" (Dorion, yelled)
It was at this moment that Dorion snapped.
He looked up at the Archbishop Ernest with the most angry distorted face.
Countless of anger veins were popping out from his forehead, jaw, and neck.
His red eyes had lost a light and any sane thoughts.
It was as if he had truly become a furious monster about to kill anyone in his way.
"I'm going to fucken rip you to shreds!" (Dorion, yelled)
'Clack'
He took out his sword gripping it as his angry hand veins had popped out at how hard he was gripping his sword handle.
He approached the Archbishop Ernest with terrifying slow steps greeting his teeth.
'He's a monster!' (Archbishop Ernest's inner thoughts)
Dorion's suffocating raging murderous aura was suffocating the Archbishop making it hard to breathe or move.
"No I didn't do anything I swear!" (Archbishop Ernest, yelled)
He tried to yell as his words were becoming more choked up while he extended his hands as if they were going to prevent Dorion from approaching.
"I don't know what happened here! Please I have nothing to do with this!" (Archbishop Ernest, yelled)
No matter how Archbishop Ernest yelled, trembled, and pleaded Dorion had not listened as he continued to approach towards him.
'All this dam time I said I wouldn't let her get hurt, all this time I was selfish once again!' (Dorion's inner thoughts)
'I should have been cruel, I should have sent her away!' (Dorion's inner thoughts)
'I should have gotten rid of everyone in the way to bring her back to a safe place' (Dorion's inner thoughts)
'But I didn't send her away...once again she died, I have let her die!' (Dorion's inner thoughts)
He gritted his teeth in anger and regret.
'Fuck the dam heaven's, fuck hell!' (Dorion's inner thoughts)
'There is no point in recruiting the families that were willing to support my rebellion, I will charge myself and kill all of them this isntant' (Dorion's inner thoughts)
'I'll get rid of this dam dog first!' (Dorion's inner thoughts)
"I'm going to feed you to your dam kind!" (Dorion, yelled)
"Not even your body will reincarnate in the heavens!" (Dorion, yelled)
'I couldn't stand as she lost her life in my arms..that dam family...that dam sister...that dam maid!' (Dorion's inner thoughts)
'I'll fucken kill this bastard and kill them all every single one of them' (Dorion's inner thoughts)
'Halt'
Stop walking.
'Swish'
'Thud'
Dorion pointed his sword toward the Archbishop Ernest whose back was now touching the old oak pole trembling uncontrollably.
"Please I beg you! I beg you! Don't kill me!" (Archbishop Ernest, yelled)
The Archbishop Ernest begged trying to look at Dorion with a trembling chin scared for his life.
"You should have thought so when you killed my wife" (Dorion, said)
He grunted coldly and furiously.
"I'm going to kill you" (Dorion, said)
He raised his sword with merciful red eyes.
His eyes no longer saw reason.
Not enough for him to hear Aurora running toward him yelling at him.
"-orion st-" (Aurora, yelled)
"-on't do-" (Aurora, yelled)
"I need-" (Aurora, yelled)
Aurora whose weak legs had regained some strength in the suffocating atmosphere had gotten up and ran towards Dorion with a pale scared face.
His sword was still rising about to cut the Archbishop Ernest's head.
It was as if he could only see the Archbishop Ernest and Aurora's silhouette was blurred.
He couldn't see how scared Aurora was seeing Dorion's crazy appearance.
He was unrecognizable like he had become the bloodthirsty tyrant in the battle.
She was afraid that her words were no longer getting through him.
She was afraid of being chopped by his boiling sword.
"-orion-" (Aurora, yelled)
'Cut'
"I'M ALIVE!" (Aurora, yelled)
She yelled at the top of her lungs with all her might as the sword came to a stop on her neck.
'Drip, Drip'
Dorion's sword had made a small cut on Aurora's neck.
Her blood dripped off his sword as she stood there trying to look at him unafraid.
'Hick' (Aurora)
She tried her hardest not to show the pain of Dorion's cut.
"I'm here!" (Aurora, yelled)
Finally, a familiar voice sounded in front of him.
"!!" (Dorion)
But when he noticed her it was too late as his sword had stopped in her bloody neck.
It was he who had cut her.
His red eyes regain their sanity unconsciously dropping his sword.
"Aurora..." (Dorion, said)
Dorion called with a shocked hurt face looking heartbroken for hurting her.
'Tremble'
'Thud'
At that moment Aurora who noticed that he had regained his emotion once again couldn't help but collapse to the ground after rushing towards him extending her hands wide as if blocking the Archbishop Ernest.
She had dropped to the ground with a pale face as if all her emotions were rushing in.
'Badmup, Badump, Badump'
Her heart beat full of fright.
She was honestly scared of Dorion when he acted like this, she hated the sight of blood or violence like that.
For Dorion, it must have been effortless to kill anyone like that but Aurora was different.
Of course, she had to use it on occasion to defend herself but once a sword and blood were splatted she couldn't help but feel nauseous and scared.
Her heart continued to beat wildly as she held her hands near her chest as if it calmed down her heart.
'Thud'
Dorion dropped down to his knees with a hurtful expression, a face that seemed to blame himself.
'Flinch'
Unconsciously he tried to reach towards her bleeding neck but as his hand approached Aurora's attention turned to look at Dorion and flinched at his hand's proximity.
'Shiver'
She couldn't help but shiver at his close hand.
She was still taken aback that she had unconsciously flinched with a scared face.
'Halt'
Dorion's white-gloved hand halted as he closed it into a fist and pulled it back looking at Aurora who looked at him with afraid eyes.
'....' (Dorion)
Her reaction had made Dorion's heart throb but he understood that he had just scared her.
It wasn't the side he wanted to ever show her and yet here he was.
"..." (Dorion)
Dorion tried not to grit his teeth in self-regret as he was getting ready to get up grabbing his sword from the ground as he turned his head at Orland and Evan who had been behind him.
"Take her to get tend her injuries" (Dorion, said)
Dorion had gotten up turning his face away from her and looking at the worry some Orland and Evan.
He dared not to look at her.
That little time he got to enjoy by her side was broken in an instant.
There be no other chance for her to ever look at him the same.
He had commanded to them with a distant voice that set a boundary once again with her and him.
'....' (Aurora)
At his distance words Aurora had finally snapped out.
She was afraid of this man but not for the reason of why he slaughtered people, well that did have some part of it.
But everything had happened so quickly and she thought his sword would have cut through all her throat.
'Grab'
Aurora's hand reached to grab the end of Dorion's cape as her hands shivered.
'Turn'
Dorion who felt her grip on his cape turned and looked down at Aurora who seemed a little afraid.
However, she looked up at him as her lips parted.
"Don't go" (Aurora, said)
Aurora said with desperate eyes.
Dorion's eyes widen.
"I am not afraid of you" (Aurora, said)
"I was afraid you could not come back to me" (Aurora, said)
She continued to look up at him as her expression reflected worry.
"You did not react, you were not the same....I needed you back" (Aurora, said)
"...." (Dorion)
Dorion's eyes which had been widened out finally eased.
He clearly understood what she meant.
'Crunch'
He crunched down again looking down at her who was still lying on the ground.
"I'm sorry" (Dorion, said)
He said as he placed his sword on the ground slowly still keeping eye contact.
"I did not see the sight of the lady I thought you were dead" (Dorion, said)
Dorion's red eyes genuinely looked hurt.
"I have made you worry" (Dorion, said)
He said as Aurora gave him a small bitter smile.
'Reach'
Dorion slowly tried once again to reach toward Aurora's bloody neck touching her injured neck.
"I would have lost you from my own fault" (Dorion, said)
Dorion's white gloves were now stained with Aurora's blood.
He furrowed his golden blond thick brows and with his extra hand, he ripped a piece of his cape wrapping it around her neck with a side bow to stop the running blood.
"...." (Aurora)
Aurora did not say anything as she let herself be tied like a present however her dark blue eyes shifted towards Dorion's sword.
Dorion who had noticed her direct stare gazing at his swords had sneaked a gaze toward his sword and back to the finishing touch of her wrapped-up bow.
"Take all of them away, do not kill them" (Dorion, said)
"And take my sword away from this sight" (Dorion, said)
Dorion ordered with no room for protest but his tone sounded excusted as if he could finally rest finding her.
He opened his eyes making eye contact with her dark blue eyes that gazed at him with curious eyes.
It was as if she was surprised by his actions.
'Lift'
Before she knew it she was lifted by him in bridle carry.
She was no longer touching the ground as her feet floated with one heel off and one lavender purple heel on.
Dorion had also had buckled the bottom of her bloody lavender-purple heel where his sword was supposed to be.
'Turn'
He turned around as he looked at Orland, Evan, and three more knights who were already dragging the Archbishop, the unconscious men, and his sword.
Aurora remained in silence looking up at him.
'Step, Step, Step'
Walking.
Dorion had finally walked out of the cabin.
Aurora was looking up at Dorion whose face glimmered against the moonlight and the bright stars.
"I will not hold a sword in your presence" (Dorion, said)
"I promise" (Dorion, said)
He had come to understand too late that she hated seeing people killed.
He was used to that cruel word, in which killing was a mere nothing but she who tried to hide her kind heart hated to see people die.
He had acted the way she hated, he needed to change that even if it meant adapting differently.
A face terrified of him, he'd rather die.
So he realized those words as he said looking up at a good group of knights with horses on standby.
His red eyes gazed at the captured men and then turned to look down at Aurora's whose eyes had already widened at his words.
"I don't want to be that bloodthirsty man" (Dorion, said)
"Lady, I swear" (Dorion, said)
Dorion looked at her with hurt eyes still filled with guilt but still possessed the love for her.
'...' (Aurora)
........
-Dorion's office-
'Hit'
"How could you have forgotten your orders!" (Evan, yelled)
Evan punched Xer in his stomach as he kneeled on the ground holding his stomach with his left hand.
Xer looked down with a bloody face along with the young coach driver who was barely standing full of injuries watching Xer being bet up.
"At all times you are to protect the grand duchess!" (Evan, yelled)
"How can a Rainers knight be so incompetent?! Have you lost your touch because you were out of war?!" (Evan, yelled)
"You have disgraced our elite knighthood" (Evan, said)
He said with cold furious eyes.
"How could you let the grand duchess out of your sight, out of your grasp?!" (Evan, yelled)
"..." (Orland)
Orland too observed in silence of course the three criminals kneeled with their hands on their backs guarded by him watching the scene of Evan beating up Xer.
'Turn'
"Your Highness let me take care of the grand duchess instead!" (Evan, yelled)
Evan yelled turning around while Xer had painly gotten up.
Evan looked at Dorion who gave Evan his back.
"I asked to guard my wife with your life" (Dorion, said)
Dorion looked out the window with a cold voice.
"I said she is very important." (Dorion, said)
He said ignoring Evan's request.
Dorion's words were for Xer to hear.
Xer eyes widen at Dorion's words.
'Kneel'
Xer kneeled in front of Dorion who still gave him his back.
"Please forgive me, your highness!" (Xer, said)
He raised his voice full of regret and pleaded.
"I promise you that I will never let anything like this happen again!" (Xer, said)
He raised his voice looking slightly down as his bloody mouth and nose began to bleed more.
"...." (Dorion)
The room felt silent, no one said a word.
Dorion's lips finally parted.
"Quenton, Rex, and Uno had the responsibility to guard my wife's business partner however they had to join us in the search due to your negligence" (Dorion, said)
"Xer you have been a loyal knight however tonight's incidents cannot be overlooked" (Dorion, said)
'Turn'
Dorion turned and glared coldly down at the kneeling beat-up Xer.
"She is very precious to me, that is why I will let it go for this" (Dorion, said)
"She explained the situation, I could not agree but her benevolence is far too greater than mine" (Dorion, said)
"She pleaded for your position to remain" (Dorion, said)
"!" (Xer, Evan, and Orland)
Their eyes widen.
In today's incidents, Xer would have been dead.
Every Rainer's knight and any workers in the Rainer mansion including the animals that belonged to the Rainer's duchy were warned.
They knew that Aurora's life was their top priority if something were to happen to her they would no longer see the light of the day.
"Get treated" (Dorion, said)
"I don't want my wife to see you like this" (Dorion, said)
Dorion said still with a cold tone looking down at Xer whose eyes widened.
'Bow'
Xer bowed.
"I thank the grand duchess benevolence" (Xer, said)
Xer bowed as he said loudly with a thankful expression.
It was reasonable that he had to thank Aurora and not him.
Xer could never say thank you to him afraid that it would make him more displeased.
The only person Dorion wanted to hear be thanked was Aurora.
"...." (Dorion)
Dorion looked at Xer who had gotten up and bowed to him leaving alongside the beat-up coach driver whom Aurora also had pleaded for.
They both left with a knight who guarded the inside of the office near the door.
'Clack'
They soon left.
"Your Highness are you sure?" (Evan, asked)
Evan swallowed hard and asked with a conflicted expression.
"That are my wife's words" (Dorion, said)
'Turn'
He responded with a cold voice.
It was obvious he was still mad.
Besides the three men were up next.
'Push'
Orland had pushed the two kidnappers down to the ground with tied-up arms in the back.
"Arck" (Kidnpaper one)
"Argh" (Kidnapper two)
They complained as their chin slid on the floor at the push.
"Two rats like you better not waste my time" (Dorion, said)
"Get up" (Dorion, said)
Dorion's red cold eyes glared at them furiously.
Immediately the two got up still kneeling although very slowly getting up since their hands were struggling.
Dorion, Orland, Evan, and Archbishop Ernest watched them squirm like worms to get up.
"I..please we didn't know that she was the grand duchess I'm-" (Kidnapper two, said)
He said pleading but before he could finish Dorion had pulled out his sword and slashed his head.
He had become once again a furious man with glowing red eyes that had slashed Kidnapper two effortlessly splattering blood onto his cheek.
'Thud'
The kidnapper's head had fallen down and rolled with its eyes and mouth open.
"Uck!" (Kidnapper one)
Kidnapper one who was next to him trembled as his eyes widened in horror.
It was the same as Archbishop Ernest who watched with a pale face.
"I hate excuses from rats like you" (Dorion, said)
"I don't need to hear you" (Dorion, said)
'Slash'
'Thud'
With another slash, the kidnapper one's head had rolled in the opposite direction.
Dorion's red eyes had looked at the kidnapper one's rolling face and placed his bloody sword back on his right hip.
He had promised to never hold a sword in her presence however not when she wasn't around.
He had no interest in hearing the kidnapper's excuses.
He knew it was an order from Aurora's sister and Aurora had explained everything to him after getting a look from a doctor for her injuries, taken a warm bath, eaten, and went to bed.
'Turn'
Dorion's red glowing eyes turned to look at Archbishop Ernest who shrank at Dorion's sight.
"You heard. You would have rolled if it was up to me" (Dorion, said)
"You're here because my wife asked me to keep you alive to serve your purpose" (Dorion, said)
"If you think this is a benefit of living, then you would have rather die" (Dorion, said)
'Flip'
Dorion stared at him angrily and a bit displeased once again for Aurora's kindness.
He flipped his finger instructing Orland to pick Archbishop Ernest up to drag him down the dungeon.
"I wait-" (Archbishop Ernest, said)
Archbishop Ernest who had gotten up with the help of Archbishop Ernest staring at him coldly had tried to speak up again and say something to Dorion however Orland had stopped him.
"If you're smart, then shut up and follow me" (Orland, said)
Orland whispered coldly at Archbishop Ernest's ear as he trembled nodding and following him out the door.
Now only Dorion and Evan remained.
"Have you done what I asked?" (Dorion, asked)
Dorioin had turned around to look at the window.
"Yes, I have your Highness" (Evan, said)
"By now the mansion should be experiencing a surprise" (Evan, said)
He responded quickly nodding his head respectfully.
"Good" (Dorion, said)
Dorion looked outside at the bright moon with a wide side smirk in malice.
......
-Many minutes before inside the Marquess Elex office-
"Father would you participate in the hunt this year again?" (Adelina, asked)
Adelina stood in front of her father's desk looking at him with curious eyes in her yellow night gown.
However, her eyes contained some hint of anxiety.
"Yes" (Marquess Elex, said)
He sat in his pajamas looking at her from his desk with a warm expression.
"Have you prepared your dress you seem anxious?" (Marquess Elex, asked)
He had noticed the hint of anxiety in her eyes.
Getting the wrong idea of what it looked like she worried about.
Well since noble ladies seemed to get nervous when it came to dresses, shoes, accessories, and such as the hunting event will soon take place.
This was because it wasn't just a regular hunting event.
It was an event where noble men participated and brought their pray dedicating it to their interest or lover and the lady who had received the highest catched would become the queen of the hunting event.
Adelina happened to win each year so she always worried about what to wear for those events.
That said the noble ladies on the other hand only sat and chatted amongst each other waiting for the man to return or explore the safe-marked areas.
Adelina once again had to mark her territory, her popularity.
"Ah I do?" (Adelina, asked)
She asked unconsciously unaware that she had let her anxious thoughts slip.
"Oh no I'm just tired Father" (Adelina, said)
She quickly spoke again trying to cover her question with a face pretending to be tired.
"..." (Marquess Elex, said)
"I will let Father finish his work and go to bed now" (Adelian, said)
She said with a warm simple look at him as an educated young lady who respects her curfew.
"Rest well then my lovely daughter" (Marquess Elex, said)
He who had fallen for her pretend tried look said to her gently.
As a loving father wishing his daughter a good night.
"Yes Father good night" (Adelina, said)
"And don't stay up too late" (Adelina, said)
Adelina responded as if she was an innocent sweet daughter before leaving and making her way to the room anxiously.
As she was about to open the door of her room Mary Janes's voice sounded in front of her as she saw her running towards her agitated.
"Miss I just got an inform" (Mary Jane, said)
Mary Jane came running from in front of her stopping right in front of her.
Adelina's eyes scrunched down at Mary Janes's agitated face and worried face.
"Tell me" (Adelina, said)
She said with cold eyes holding onto her door handle.
'Guilp'
Mary Jane could sense a storm coming in.
"They failed" (Mary Jane, said)
She bowed her head as she said with a scared tone afraid Adelina would slap her in anger.
She continued to report without looking up at her.
"It was reported that the illegitimate prince bought her back along with the two men, and the Archbishop Ernest" (Mary Jane, said)
"However, not long ago there was a sight of the two decapitated men being dumped onto the dog street" (Mary Jane, said)
The rural poor street in the empire where most stray dogs roamed around.
It was obvious what would happen to their bodies.
"What about Archbishop Ernest?" (Adelina, asked)
Adelina's cold displeased sound again.
"There hasn't been information" (Mary Jane, said)
She lifted her head with her remaining courage.
"..." (Adelina)
'Squik'
Adelina said no word however her grip on her door noob made a sound at how hard she was groping it.
'Turn'
She turned her head to look at the front of the door and closed her eyes.
'Clack'
She opened the door handle and entered the room with her eyes closed shutting the door without a noise.
Mary Jane understood that she wanted to be alone.
'Open'
Adelina's eyes opened once again.
Eyes full of malice, vengeance, and anger,
'When did this bitch turn so dam lucky?' (Adelina's inner thoughts)
'They should have gotten at least a small bottle of her blood!' (Adelina's inner thought)
'Screech'
Adelina's nails clawed her wooden door in furry.
'That useless Archbishop Ernest better pray to show his face in the temple...' (Adelina's inner thoughts)
She looked at the far distance large window porched lighted up with tonight's stars with a cold face.
'Step, Step, Step'
Walking.
'Halt'
She had a cold face walking towards her bed laying in her bed and covering herself with a blanket in her dark room.
'Just wait and see' (Adelina's inner thoughts)
She looked above her dark ceiling greeting her teeth.
'Rustle'
"!" (Adelina)
However, her eyes widened at the sudden scaly feeling up on her legs.
'Extened'
Immediately she uncovered her duvet cover and and found some kind of animal on the corner bottom of her bed, on the left side of her bed, and one more animal on top of her legs.
'Pull'
She pulled onto the wall light lighting up her room and what she found made her scream in terror.
"KYAAAAHHH!!" (Adelina, yelled)
There were three snakes in the corner bottom of her bed. One Coral snake, one Python snake, and one rattlesnake.
On the left side of her bed were two snakes. One Horned viper snake, and one Copperhead snake snake.
And the finishing touch at her legs.
'Hiss'
A long Black-necked spitting cobra who slid up on her legs with it's tongue stuck out.
......
'Burst'
At her loud horrific yelled Marquess Elex and Arian had burst into her room.
"Adelina what's the mat-" (Arian, yelled)
Arian and Marquess Elex who had burst into her room worriedly came in screaming until they both froze at the scene.
Adelina was trembling uncontrollably covering her mouth with pouring tears accompanied by a variation of snakes.
"?!!" (Arian and Marquess Elex)
Their eyes widen in shock.
