Chapter 1: Poison Tea With Sister

**Alright Continuation Of Chapter 1...

At Lepiliondel Estate-

Lepiliondel Estate was the home of marquess Elex Lepiliondel a very wealthy man with his three children Arian Lepiliondel, Aurora Lepiliondel, and Adelina Lepiliondel.

This huge estate beholds a pearl white mansion with highly carved customized pillars that give an extravagant and luxurious look, enough to feel like a king.

Even so, the mansion itself falls behind comparison to the beauty of the four gardens.

The four gardens are the Northern, Eastern, Western, and Southern gardens.

These gardens go by a set owner and picked color.

The Northern garden is known for its beautiful white and blue flowers which are marquess's Elex favorite colors. This garden belongs to the marquess and marquess only.

Secondly, the Eastern garden, this garden contains yellow and mint color flowers. That was the deceased marchioness Aliana Lepiliondel's dedicated garden. This was the only garden that was off limits with the exception of the marquess, his children, and the garden staff in charge of it.

Thirdly the Western garden, unlike the rest of the garden filled with flowers this garden had many fruit trees. From fresh lemon trees to apple trees and tangerine trees. The person behind this garden was Arian Lepiliondel, the eldest child in the Lepiliondel family.

Lastly the Southern garden, this garden was beyond comparison to any garden in the empire except for the royal palace. Pink, red, and purple colored flowers spread all around the Southern garden.

This garden also happened to have a crystal clear blue small river with a pearl white bridge made out of the material of the Lepiliondel mansion.

The shimmering water splashed the glossy polished rocks set ashore where the grass and lake met. As two outshining beautiful women sat near the bridge.

Two young ladies faced each other at a white rose-shaped table with a pink tablecloth and golden bottom embroidery tips.

At Lepiliondel Souther Garden-

"What do you want?" (Aurora, asked)

Aurora Lepiliondel was the middle child of marquess Elex and the deceased marchioness Aliana. A twenty-three-year-old with very long wavy fuchsia pink hair and dark blue eyes that complemented her long thick feather-like dark fuchsia pink lashes.

Even though her old dark purple worn-out dress was nothing compared to her sister, her beauty was unparalleled like no other.

At Aurora's exhausted question Adelina grind with a small smile.

"Oh, don't tell me you forgot sister?" (Adelina, asked)

Adelina asked innocently, but Aurora who knew her true colors could see her hidden judgmental eyes.

Adelina unlike Aurora had straight long corn yellow hair with blunt bangs that covered some of her corn yellow lashes. Adelina and Aurora were very different both physical and emotional but their dark blue eyes were the same as their father's eyes.

Adelina was wearing a yellow fancy puffy ruffluled-up dress with a golden embroidery corset and three looped pearl necklaces.

At the word, 'sister' Aurora frowned.

"Since when do you call me that?" (Aurora, asked)

She lifted her left brow and cross her arms and continued to speak.

"I don't know what else you want from me, aren't you busy with your empress training classes, so if you-" (Aurora, said)

Before Aurora could finish Adelina interrupted.

"I need something from you" (Adelina, said)

"..." (Aurora)

Adelina made a hesitant face as Aurora scrunched her eyes in suspicion.

'Of course, she wouldn't have let me in her private garden without a reason.' (Aurora's inner thoughts)

Aurora was known as the outcast of her family, a useless child to blame for her mother's death even though she wasn't the last child her mother birthed. According to the prophecy, she was the bad child sent from underground.

A child with no inherited power like her mother. An abandoned dog being mistreated by her servants, publicly bullied by the nobles, a brother who stood by Adelina's side like gum, and a father that didn't even know where Aurora's room was at.

At Aurora's silence, Adelina continued and blurted out loudly.

"I came to make peace with you sister." (Adelina, said)

'Creak'

Unconsuasly Aurora leaned back in confusion of the situation.

'Did she just...' (Aurora's inner thoughts)

"Peace?" (Aurora, asked)

Aurora asked with a snicker. Adelina's words were like a joke to her.

"Yes" (Adelina, said)

'Ha does she not get tired of that silly game of hers that she has to invent something new!' (Aurora's inner thoughts)

Aurora leaned forward and glared at Adelina.

"I don't believe you. A person like you could never be sincere besides, you and I both know today is our twenty-three year birthday so what are you doing here instead of the palace?" (Aurora, asked)

In fact, both Aurora and Adelina were twins. Aurora was born with fuchsia pink hair like her father. She was born first by two minutes before Adelina but since Adelina resembled their dead mother with blonde hair and received her saintess powers as well, she soon became loved by all.  Including the royal family, or more like in-laws now.

Adelina had married the crown prince Jarek Von Rhone a twenty-five-year-old arrogant prince with orange hair and green eyes.

'More like a fake' (Aurora's inner thoughts)

Adelina was twenty-one and a half when she married Jarek and was given the position of a princess but now that she is twenty-three she had to take empress classes.

Annoyed Aurora spoke again.

"Shouldn't you be celebrating with people of your high-status acknowledgment since I don't fall under your category-" (Aurora, said)

Adelina interrupted with a sincere voice like never before.

"Sorry" (Adelina, said)

'Blink, Blink'

Closing and opening eyes.

Aurora was dumbfounded.

"What?" (Aurora, asked)

Aurora knew that Adelina was never a person to apologize to her, especially with a sincere tone that took her by surprise.

Adelina continued as she looked at Aurora's confused face.

"I'm sorry Aurora, please forgive me. I know I put you through a lot of pain that you didn't deserve. I was immature.." (Adelina, said)

She bowed her head in shame.

"..." (Aurora)

Aurora turned her head to the right where a short black-haired maid with dark brown eyes stood. She was Maryjane Adelina's favorite maid in the Lepiliondel mansion who she took to serve her at the Rhone imperial palace. She was wearing her long black and white maid outfit with her interlocked hands in the back. Standing in front of a silver grey dessert rolling cart.

'Even she's here...' (Aurora's inner thoughts)

Aurora turned her eyes away from Maryjane and looked back at the bowing Adelina.

"So you acknowledge you were immature?" (Aurora, asked)

Adelina flinched and looked up at the glaring Aurora.

'Adelina hates insults, she'll break character' (Aurora's inner thoughts)

Adelina stayed silent for a few seconds when she opened her mouth to speak.

"I-I was" (Adelina, said)

Then Adelina quickly stood up from her chair and slammed her palms on top of the table.

She Bended her head again down.

'I knew it-' (Aurora's inner thoughts)

'Drip, Drip'

'A-Adelina is crying?!' (Aurora's inner thoughts)

Adelina would cry usually to get her way but today felt different.

Tears fell from Adelina's eyes and raised her face to look at Aurora.

"I-It's my fault, you hate me for a good reason but I was too blind to not realize how precious you are to me sister...sniff..my sinful actions have brought you pain." (Adelina, said)

Adelina continued as her tears continued to run down her cheeks.

"..." (Aurora)

Adelina raised her right hand and swept her tears with her knuckles.

"Aurora...sniff..now that I'm taking empress classes it has shown me how awful I was to you. It has thought me that I need to be responsible for the people I hurt. Sniff...I need to ask for your forgiveness from my dear sister...sniff." (Adelina, said)

She continued as she sniffed back her runny nose.

"Once I become the empress I'll try to give you everything I can, I know it could never make up for what I have done but...please forgive me sister." (Adelina, said)

Adelina clasped her hands tightly together just as she prayed in the Chessaruse temple.

"I have come to rekindle my relationship with you." (Adelina, said)

Adelina looked at Aurora with a hopeful face.

'I know her ways of acting but this..she seems sincere (Aurora's inner thoughts)

'Could it really be..' (Aurora's inner thoughts)

'Gulp' (Aurora)

Aurora hesitatingly spoke up after the intense eye contact between her and Adelina.

"Did you really come to fix our relationship?" (Aurora, asked)

"Yes, I promise. I even told Jarek that I wanted to celebrate my birthday with my birthday twin." (Adelina, said)

Adelina turned to her left and looked at Maryjane again.

"I even told Maryjane to bring strawberry cake just like when we were small." (Adelina, said)

Adelina pointed at the strawberry cake in Maryjane's cart.

She then pointed to the two white teapots.

"And I also brought the pineapple and lavender tea. I like pineapple and you hate pineapple tea. I hate lavender and you like lavender tea so I thought it was a good idea to bring your likes." (Adelina, said)

Adelina turned to look at Aurora with cheerful eyes.

"Uhmm." (Aurora, said)

Aurora was unsure of what to say to the situations she had to suddenly take in.

"So do you think I can have another chance and start fresh with sister?" (Adelina, asked)

Adelina asked with sorrowful eyes as if she would burst into tears again at any moment.

'Am I selfish to believe...' (Aurora's inner thoughts)

'Nod' (Aurora)

"Kyahh!" (Adelina, yelled)

Adelina grabbed Maryjane and shook her excitedly like a joyful kid.

"See Maryjane my sister is the sweetest most beautiful person in the world." (Adelina, yelled)

At Adelina's fluttering remarks Auroras's cheeks painted a small pink blush. While the flustered Maryjane regained her focus as Adelina sat down happy.

Adelina looked at Maryjane again and smiled.

"Maryjane then to celebrate can you set up the snacks I brought?" (Adelina, asked)

"Yes, Princess Adelina" (Maryjane, said)

'Clack'

Maryjane had set down the strawberry cake, pineapple, and lavender tea in front of Aurora and Adelina. The sweet scent hit Aurora's nose.

'Flick'

After Maryjane finished Adelina raised her finger for Maryjane to leave.

Both Aurora and Adelina watched Maryjane leave and disappear into the distance with the cart. When Maryjane's figure was no longer seen Aurora and Adelina face each other again.

"I like to make a toast to my gorgeous sister, so drink up first and tell me if it's not to your liking. I will personally add some more sugar cubes since you like sweet things." (Adelina, said)

'She remembered?!' (Aurora's inner thoughts)

'Badump' (Aurora)

"No, I'm sure it's fine." (Aurora, said)

She smiled softly and drank a little as her blue eyes quickly sparkled in delight.

Adelina smiled kindly with her elbows on top of the table clasping her own arms. She rested her chin on top of her hands as she asked.

"Sweet right?" (Adelina, asked)

"Yes, very" (Aurora, said)

Aurora's smile widen by a few centimeters more.

She then proceed to gulp down the whole tea, not such a lady-like thing for her to do but it was just so good.

'It's been so long since I had something so good, usually, the maids only bring bread and water...' (Aurora's inner thoughts)

Aurora put the teacup down and smiled brightly.

"Thank you, Adelina" (Aurora, said)

Adelina's eyes narrowed down at Aurora's beautiful smile.

"I'm glad you like it." (Adelina, said)

But then Adelina's kind face shifted to her cruel old face.

"Because it will be your last." (Adelina, said)

"Wha-" (Aurora)

'Cough' (Aurora)

Suddenly blood spilled through Aurora's mouth and immense heat spread inside her stomach.

"Argh" (Aurora)

Aurora fell off her chair and landed on her knees clenching the pink tablecloth.

"M-My stomach..argh" (Aurora, said)

"It's burning" (Aurora, said)

Aurora winced in pain as she wrapped her left hand around her waist and held on to the tablecloth with her right.

At Aurora's painful face Adelina bent down and held Aurora's bloody chin.

"You are no use to me dear sister, but no fret I won't let you die without you knowing why I hate you so much." (Adelina, said)

Adelina squeezed Aurora's chin harder as her dark blue eyes glowed with jealousy and resentment.

"You were going to take everything away from me, so I took it first" (Adelina, said)

Aurora's eyes widen at the realization.

"Yes, it seems you guess it right. It was you the real saintess not me." (Adelina, said)

'I always felt something within me...I neglected it, denied it myself because...' (Aurora's inner thoughts)

Adelina continued.

"You see this pretty thing, it's a matching set so who do you think helped me out?" (Adelina, asked)

Aurora glanced at Adelina's golden and blue bracelet that the fake empress had given her.

Aurora's eyes changed into hate, something she never showed.

At Aurora's eyes, Adelina stood up and drank her pineapple tea. She looked down at Aurora and kicked her stomach with her yellow heels.

'Pow'

Aurora felt completely on the grass.

'Cough' (Aurora)

"Y-You" (Aurora)

"T-Tricked me" (Aurora, said)

Aurora looked at Adelina as her face laid on her left side staring at Adelina's figure.

Adelina smirked and raised her left hand to check her pretty nails.

"It was the empress after all that made it happen, but of course I wanted it" (Adelina, said)

'How could she!' (Aurora's inner thoughts)

"Once..cough..father finds out..cough" (Aurora, said)

Adelina turned to look at the laying Aurora.

"Ha, save it we are both poisoned" (Adelina, said)

"Argh..B-Both?" (Aurora, asked)

Aurora was in mid of confusion and pain as she clutched on the grass.

Suddenly.

'Cough' (Adelina)

Adelina coughed blood as Aurora's eyes became wider at her sister's sinister look smiling down at Aurora with blood coming out of her mouth.

"Don't worry I'll be alright, I only added a few drops to mine but you'll be gone soon." (Adelina, said)

Adelina snickered and walked away.

"No please!" (Aurora, yelled)

"I'm scared" (Aurora, yelled)

Shivered in fear as she clenched harder in the grass trying to raise herself up.

Aurora's vision started to become blurry but could still see Adelina's blonde yellow corn hair moving father away and her yelling voice in the background.

"Help!" (Adelina, yelled)

"Someone Help!" (Adelina, yelled)

"Cough..H-Help!" (Adelina, yelled)

At Adelina's call, rushing footsteps could be heard. Aurora turned her blurry gaze at the pearl bridge where two figures ran towards them and a third really tall figure following them behind from the distance.

"Adelina!" (Marquess Elex, yelled)

"Sister!" (Arian, yelled)

"Ha, I don't need to see their faces clearly to know who they are" (Aurora, mumbled)

Aurora tried to open her eyes more seeing her father holding Adelina on the floor with red blood covering her yellow dress.

And her eldest brother Arian passed Adelina as he now stood between Adelina and Aurora but further away from Aurora than from Adelina.

Aurora's vision managed to capture Arian's indecisive look. The fact that it was the first time seeing him so indecisive instead of running directly towards Adelina.

He was unsure who to pick. This gave Aurora one last hope. Aurora tried her hardest to raise her elbows to stand up and look at Arian.

'Cough' (Aurora)

Aurora reached in thin air with her left hand so her brother would take her hand.

"..." (Arian)

Arian still stood there more indecisive than ever until the very tall figure that was following from behind bumped Arian hard running past him.

It was a man. A familiar man. Aurora's vision was worsening by the second but she managed to see the handsome man in white sliding his knees across the grass and grabbing her fragile body.

'Drip, Drip'

Suddenly gentle tears filled Aurora's eyes and caught a clear glimpse of the man's close-up face.

He had blonde golden-like color lashes like the color of his hair that was in a pull up slick back hairstyle with a few loose strands coming down.

His red ruby color eyes shook as as he looked Aurora.

'Why is he looking at me with such a hurtful and angry face?' (Aurora's inner thoughts)

'I rejected this man, my family made him into a laughing stock, and yet he's..' (Aurora's inner thoughts)

Aurora's eyes finally closed slowly losing conscience as the man's grip became stronger his cracked pained voice yelled in the background of her conscience.

"Lady Aurora don't close your eyes!" (Duke Dorion Rainers, yelled)

"Stay with me-" (Dorion, yelled)

"-ease" (Dorion, yelled)

That was the clearest Aurora could hear as his voice soon faded.

"---------" (Dorion, yelled)

'If only I hadn't been a fool, I was too selfish. I was used to this so why did I accept it? Those people deserved nothing of my love. Instead, the man that I hurt the most came to me..' (Aurora's inner thoughts)

'If I had one more chance, I would remove them from my heart, I would make them pay for all the suffering they made me go through.' (Aurora's inner thoughts)

'I will take away what you craved Adelina. If I had one more chance, I would give the love to that lonely man...just like me' (Aurora's inner thoughts)

As Aurora thought the pain soon faded away and became warm and relaxing.

Suddenly

"Gasph" (Aurora)

Aurora opened her eyes. Her eyes went wide still not taking in the surroundings but she knew she was sitting down somewhere.

Everything was blurry but her instincts were to get up as she choked on her own breath.

"Haah, ha" (Aurora)

Aurora heavily breathed.

Aurora held both hands on her neck as chocking herself. She only knew she was walking straight in this blurry place. She had now turned around and dropped to her knees on the carpet-textured floor and heard a familiar voice.

"rora" (Arian, yelled)

"Au-" (Arian, yelled)

She felt some cold hands land on both her shoulders. This calmed Aurora down and her vision became clear.

In front of her was her brother Arian but...
