Inside the wooden house…

After eating, Luo Ruying took the used crockery and cutlery and walked out the room.

She looked at the pile of crockery and cutlery at her feet and frowned. Then she sat down and tried cleaning them like a mortal.

When she realized it was inefficient, she decided to use her spiritual energy to hold the crockery, cutlery, and water in midair and make them spin at high speed.

In the blink of an eye, everything was clean, and the dirty water was removed from them.

Following this, Luo Ruying did the same thing to chop firewood and do the laundry.

A fairy from the Heavenly Realm marrying someone from the Mortal Realm was simply a joke!

Luo Ruying furrowed her brows but did not get annoyed. Instead, she said solemnly, “I will go with you! Just promise to let him and the child off!”

After some thought, Luo Ruying finally decided to give herself up to save Ning Yechen and their daughter.

In her heart, she could not bear to part with them, but she had no choice.

She could not keep running with her daughter or implicate Ning Yechen.

“Mommy! Mommy! Don’t leave me!” The moment Luo Hongye heard Luo Ruying volunteer to leave, she instantly bawled and clutched Luo Ruying’s clothes with all her might.

Luo Ruying looked at Luo Hongye by her legs. A reluctant yet doting look appeared in her eyes as they turned teary.

If she could help it, she could never bear to part with her child.

Old Ghost interrupted with a sinister laugh. “How touching. Don’t worry. You are coming with me, and so is this girl! As for the man, I will just kill him.”

“You…” Luo Ruying’s face turned glacial. She was so furious that her nails dug into her hands until they bled.

She had already compromised, but he refused to let off her husband and daughter!

Luo Ruying bent over to pick up Luo Hongye and handed her to Ning Yechen. A grave yet gentle look appeared in her eyes. “Leave this to me. Take her and run into the forest! Promise me to keep her safe! After I’m done here, I will look for you. If I don’t come, don’t wait for me!”

Luo Ruying did not wait for Ning Yechen to reply. She tipped her toes and kissed his lips gently.

This was the first time they kissed on their own volition without drugs.

Ning Yechen opened his eyes wide in astonishment.

The sword lights passed through the puppets, cutting them at the waist!
