Labor day weekend has been so crazy for me, but today we hit 1 Million motherfucking reads! Rankings show that it's one of the best books on the entire app. Y'all let these people know how we did it in just 3 months exactly with NO connections what so ever 🤸🏽‍♀️

I chuckled to myself hearing Dave, Kairi, and Kali cackling loudly downstairs as I got dressed.

It's amazing how much they fell in love with her as soon as she walked through that front door. They didn't have to warm up to her or anything. It's like she just fit right in...

3 hours ago...

"It's a good thing I came and got you early huh?" I said walking into the door with an excited Kali on my hips.

I unbuttoned my jacket and she jumped down out of my arms. I watched as she closed her eyes, inhaling all the air.

"I missed the shmell in here... Shmells like cake..." She said gazing around the room.

Walking further into the house, we stopped once we saw David bouncing Kai up and down in her bouncer. She ran up to him.

"Hiii, my name's Kali! What's yo-"

"HUUUUUUUU!" Both of them let out a huge gasp in unison. Staring at each other with wide eyes, they met each other halfway.

"You're beautiful..." They both said at the same time with their hands on each other's faces.

After a while of admiring each other's beauty, they started to get to know one another.

"What's your name? Mines is Kalifornia Dream Greer." She looked extremely focused tracing one of the tattoos on his finger that spelled out his name.

"David Brewster Jr." He replied back watching her.

"Like the ice cream?"

He chuckled at her. "Yeah, like the ice cream..."

"Woo, thank you Jesus..." I praised as I placed a portable charger in my purse. After hours of getting myself dressed and ready, I was finally done.

"OKAY YOU GUYS! IM COMING DOWN! IS EVERYBODY READY T-" I stopped in my tracks seeing all of them laying on their stomachs in the middle of the living room floor.

Kali and Dave were laying across from each other with a piece of paper in between them, and Kai was laying on his back.

"What are you guys doing in here?!"

I went to one of the million pieces of blank copy paper that was scattered all over the room and picked it up. I then saw all of the tiny grids with X's and O's in them drawn in bright, sparkly purple ink.

Looking at the sheet that laid in between them; I noticed that it had Goldfish crackers in the grid.

"AR- ARE YALL PLAYING TIC-TAC-TOE WITH MY GOLDFISH?!" I asked with my hands on my hips.

"W-Well well yeah... Kali thought that it would step the game up a notch if-" She quickly spoke up to cut him off.

"NOOOO... That wasn't my idea! It was Dave's." He gave her at death glare.

"Yeah okay! Well MAYBE it WAS my idea that if we used Goldfish, it would step the game up a couple of notches."

"Yeah! See Dave's the colorful onesssss, and I'mmmmm the extra cheddar onessss!" She said picking a couple of them up from her pile and popping them into her mouth.

"And whoever wins gets to keep all of them that's on the board!" He excitedly clapped his hands cheesing from ear to ear.

"Annddd right nowwww, I'm winning!" She swiped all the Goldfish off the sheet and stuffed them in her mouth.

"Heyyyy!" Dave frowned at her as she chewed up the snacks.

"But but..." I held my Apple Watch up seeing that it was time to go. "I didn't get to play..." They both looked at me with a sad expression on their faces.

"Awwwe, don't be shad Angel! I'm sure we have time for one more game! Right Dave?" We turned to him, and he nodded his head.

"Right Chunky Butt! We have time for one more game! Come on." They scooted over a little, making room for me to sit down.

"Okayyyy, who's gonna go first?" I said sitting down on my side.

"Wait! Tic-Tac-Toe is a two person game... How are we gonna put Angel into the game too Dave? We don't have enough fishies for that..." We all just looked at each other for a second.

"Dang, I didn't even think that far..." I said.

"Me either..." Dave had a confused look on his face as he scratched the back his head.

"OH! I know what what we could use! Grab Kai Ang." I picked her up off of his back and held her in my lap. He jumped up and ran to the kitchen.

Kali and I furrowed our eyebrows at each other hearing lots of shuffling and cabinet doors slam. He ran back into the living room.

"We can use these!" He held up a bag of Jet Puffed Mini Marshmallows that haven't even been open yet.

"I guess that'll work!" Me and Kal said at the same time, shrugging.

"Alright, good!" He rushed back over to us and laid back down in his spot.

Me and Dave quickly hopped out of the front seats of his grey Range Rover, shutting both of the doors

"Alright Angel, how about you get the kids and I get London's presents?" Dave said to me as we hopped out of his Range Rover.

"No no noooo... How about YOU get the kids and I get the presents?" He closed his eyes, shaking his head slowly.

"Nu uh, I don't agree with that." His words made me hold up my hands up in defense.

"Alllllllrright, I tried to negotiate with you. You KNOW how we have to settle this..." I raised my eyebrow at him and sat both of my hands on top of the roof of the car.

"ROCK... PAPER... SCISSORS... SHOOT!"

I made scissors with my hand. Joy jolted through my body seeing that he made paper with his.

"HAHA! YES YES YES! DAVEY, DO YOU LOVE M-" In the middle of me dancing like Shiggy when Drake brought him out onstage on his tour, I was interrupted by Dave's loud groans.

[S/N: When I first saw that video, I died so hardddd! That nigga was dancing his heart out on that stage 💀🤣]

"NO, WHAT THE FUCK ANGEL?! We have to do that over! You tricked me yo! You've done rock mad times! Now you wanna switch up and try to confuse me!" I rolled my eyes at his whining, but he's right...

"Nigga, I didn't try. I did. But whatever! We can do it over." I put my hands back on the roof to let him know that I wasn't bullshitting.

He's not going to win this time, no matter how many times we play.

I jumped up for joy AGAIN seeing that he made scissors with his hand, and I made a rock.

"I KNEW YO DUMBASS WAS GONNA DO THAT! Yes! Davey, do you love me? Are you riding?" I sang as I did my victory dance all the way to the trunk, getting the two big Princess Jasmine gift bags out.

He sucked his teeth and started to get the kids out the car.

"Come on Mommy fat babies!" I yelled to them behind me as I skipped to the huge building.

I was like a kid in a candy store looking around the huge building with wide eyes, astonished by all the big rides and vibrant colors as we made our way to London's section.

"OOOH OOH ANGEL! I wanna ride that, and that, and THAT!" Me and Kal exclaimed to her at the same time, almost breaking her arm shaking it.

"Okay okay babies! As soon as get to London's section and get settled in, we'll change and hop on the rides. Okay?" She said to us sweetly.

"Okayyy." We replied.

As soon as we got close to the birthday girl's section, a million of my little cousins came running to Angel and I almost knocking us down.

"ANGEL AND DAVE!!!" They shouted while holding onto our legs.

"Heyyy! Wassup y'all?" We smiled down at them. I furrowed my eyebrows looking down at them not seeing London.

"Where's London y'all?" I asked and they let us go.

"Oh, she's over there." They pointed to her. She was sitting down at her table with her head rested on her fist.

Hmm... I wonder what's wrong with her...

"Alright, thanks y'all!" I said to them; they ran off to play in the park.

"Babe, how come you didn't introduce them to Kali?" Angel whispered to me as we walked over to her.

"Them kids bad as hell Angel; Kali wouldn't wanna play with them. I could've tell by the look on her face. She was squeezing my hand extra tight."

"Hmm... Maybe she's just shy." She said looking down at her.

I sucked my teeth at her. "Angel you know damn well Kali not shy. She know them kids bad; she could feel it. Hell you said the same thing when you first met them." We both started to snicker.

"I did, but I had a reason to feel that way! They was cussing and stuff..."

"Yeahhhh, you've got a point." I shrugged.

"HEY YALL!" We both threw our hands up smiling at all the grown ups sitting around on their phones.

I can't believe that no ones up playing in the water, because I know as soon as I take these clothes off I am.

"Mmm, my baby!" My mama yelled getting up. I held out my arms to her smiling.

"Hi baby!" I stood there stuck after she brushed right passed me and went straight to Angel and the kids.

"Hi ma!" I watched in disgust as they conversed. I took the presents out of Angel's possession.

" 'HaY mUH!' Her ass be talking about me stealing Kai away from her, and she tryna take my damn mama." I mumbled all the way over to London.

"Wassup fat head!" I sat the bags in top of the table and mushed her shoulder playfully.

Usually I would push her head, but I didn't want to mess up her big beautiful hair. Her thick, black, curly hair was pulled up into a neat low bun, and there was a gorgeous diamond headband that traveled the perimeter of her head.

"Dee Dee!" She stood on top of the table and jumped in my arms. "Hey mama! Happy 5th birthday big girl!" I smiled holding her.

"I missed you so much! What'd you bring me?! What'd you bring me?!" She let me go, jumping up and down on the table.

"Woah, woah, woah! Before I show you your presents, there's someone I want you meet first..." I said picking her up and putting her down on the floor.

I looked at Kal and waved her over. She grinned and ran over to me, taking my hand.

"London, this is Kali Greer. Kali, this is London Brewster: The Birthday Girl." I introduced them to each other.

"Hi London! You're really pretty!" Kali said. "Thank you! So are you!"

"Thanksss! I really like your party! I've never had one of these before..." She in a sad tone.

"Awwww man, really? It's okay! I'll share mine with you!" Kal's eyes lit up.

"Really? You would do that?"

"Of course! Do you have on a bathing suit?" Kali unzipped her furry pink jacket, revealing her white Fend one piece.

"Good! Let's get Angel to help you take your clothes off and we'll get Dave to take us to the water!" London said eagerly.

"But what about those other kids I seen earlier?" Kali asked puzzled.

"Ummmm... Even though they're my cousins, we shouldn't be around them a lot. They'll get us in a lottttt of trouble. Trust me, I know."

"Alright, but wait! Lemme just-" My heart melted inside of my chest seeing Kali take her small hands and push her headband back that was falling down onto her forehead.

"-Now we can go!" I smiled watching them run off to Angel.

I can already tell I'm going to have to keep a close eye on them when they're together.

"Damn what they ordering? The whole damn menu? It ain't that much to choose from. We been standing in line for 20 minuets. Shit it's already hot in here; feels like summer forreal." I complained behind Angel, folding my arms.

We were standing in this long ass line at the concession stand trying to get something to eat so we wouldn't pass the fuck out, but I think we'll do that before we even get a chance to touch the counter.

"Um, ma'am?" I quickly became annoyed hearing an unrecognizable, high pitched voice behind me.

"Ugh what?!" I scrunched my face up and turned around.

My eyes laid on a skinny caucasian woman with a short grey bob. She was probably in her 40s.

She looked like that one teacher that would chase you down the hallway in school to take you to the office for dress code AT THE END OF THE DAY.

"Can you stop cursing? There are children around you know." She said rolling her neck at me. I drew my head back at all the attitude that was in her voice.

" 'DeRe R kIdS aRoUnD U nO' Bitch, fuck you and the badass ki-" My words became muffled due to Angel slapping her hand over my mouth.

"Ma'am, I am so sorry... She hasn't taken her medicine today." She said to the woman sweetly.

"Whatever." The woman walked off.

Just as I was about to grab her from behind, Angel pulled me back.

"Stephanie what the hell is wrong with you?! You can't talk to people like that! We're in public!" She scolded at me, taking her hand from my mouth.

"No bitch, what the fuck is with your bathing suit? Yo booty hungry as fuck." I grimaced looking at the way her butt swallowed her Fendi bottoms whole.

"Mhm, it's hungry Dave. That's what it's hungry for." As soon as that flew out her mouth, Dave came out of no where and hugged her from behind.

He put his arm around her neck and began to whisper in her ear.

"I been watching the way that ass been shaking around this park since we've been here. I can't wait until we get rid of these kids and get home. Daddy gone bend you over and make you nut until you pass ou-" He was cut off by Angel's constant squirming and giggling.

"Daviddddd..." She managed to get out her mouth.

"Y'all so fucking nasty." I said feeling Jaceyon's strong arm being thrown over my shoulder.

"Baby please. I taught Dave everything he knows. That's my son."

"Right bae! They tryna act like they freakier than us." I looked up at him frowning.

"Nah, nobody freakier than y'all. Nasty bitches..." Dave and Angel said at the same time while shaking their heads.

We stuck up our middle fingers at them.
