Its been a week that Angels been living with me since Amir raped her, and honestly it's been hard.

Angel barely talks. She barely eats anything. She doesn't even sleep. All she does is lay in the bed and stare at the wall.

Even when I tell her jokes and be my old goofy self, she doesn't laugh or even tell me 'Stop all that fucking playing all the time!' like she used to. She just sits there...

I miss my friend, and me and Dave are trying our hardest to get her back. But we know it's not going to be easy.

Yeah that's right: I said we.

Dave has been a really big help with Angel. He drags her out the bed when he comes over and takes her out and spends one on one time with her despite how much Angel doesn't want to see him. He's not giving up on her and he never gets frustrated.

We're also not rushing her to go see a therapist. We decided it would be best that she goes when she's ready.

Angel is getting a lot better physically, but mentally: we're taking it step by step and one day at a time.

Now it's time for me to go back to work and Dave is coming to get Angel this morning before I leave.

"Good Morn-" I said as I walked into the guest room, but when I looked at her she was sitting on the bed and already awake and ready. Which I was very surprised by.

Usually I would have to drag her out of bed and into the shower.

I smiled as I walked up getting a closer look at her. She had on a little bit of makeup and and her grey PINK tights and a white long sleeve shirt that had big, silver sparkly letters across it that said 'PINK'. Her hair was brushed and pulled back.

"Ahhhh I see somebody is excited about leaving today!" I smiled at her.

She just rolled her eyes and gave me a small smile.

"Alright, Dave will be here any minute. Everything's packed right?" She nodded her head.

"Alright let's get your shoes put on." And I grabbed her silver PINK slides and put them on her feet.

I grabbed some of her bags and she grabbed the rest and we sat them by the front door.

"Now Ima let you know before you get over there. Dave is with Millie, and she may be over there from time to time-"

She cut me off. "Yeah yeah I know..."

"But if that bitch fuck witchu.... Please call me. You know what, take my gun..." I said grabbing my purse, searching through it.

I pulled it out. "Steph please! I don't need that... Put that away." She said.

I put it up. "Alright. Alright... But if she do... I want you to dog walk that bitch-"

She laughed a little. "Okay Steph I got it."

I smiled. This is the most I've seen her smile and heard her talk. Even though after everything that happened with her and Dave, I know she still loves him.

And right now it's showing, or maybe she's just happy she's getting away from my annoying ass. I don't know, but either way I'm happy for her. I'm happy she's finally starting to fight this and not let it take over her life any longer.

My thoughts were cut off as the door bell rang. I walked to the door and opened it. Dave walked in. He had on a matching grey Nike sweatsuit matched with grey Air Max 97s.

"Good Morning." He said walking into the apartment, walking straight to Angel. He wrapped his arms around her.

"Good Morning Beautiful..." He said as he tried to kiss her. She put her hand on his head and pushed him away.

"Give me some love..." He said, scrunching up his eyebrows.

"Go get some from Millie." She said quietly.

He sucked his teeth. "Man Ion give a fuck about her. You know that."

"Then why you still got her around?" He opened his mouth to speak but she put her hand up to his mouth and stopped him.

"Save it. Your actions shows me everything."

He sighed and picked some of her bags up. "Ima take these to the car.." He said as he walked out the door.

She got up and came and hugged me.

"Thank you... For everything..." She said into my chest.

"Awww you're welcome... Anything for you. You know I'll do anything for you." I squeezed her back.

We both let go. "Alright Ima call you okay?"

She nodded her head. "Alright."

"And remember what I told you!" I squinted my eyes at her, referring to Millie. She laughed.

"Okay Steph!" "Alright."

Dave came back in. "Alright you ready to go?" Steph nodded her head.

"Okay well let's go..." He then picked her up bridal style and she whined.

"David put me down! I don't need you to carry me anymore, I'm better! I can walk..."

"Baby please, I wanna carry you. Let me..." He pleaded to her. My heart melted. She just folded her arms together and huffed.

I chuckled and grabbed the rest of her bags. We all walked outside and to his truck. He grabbed the door handle and opened the passenger door. He put Angel in and buckled her in. Before he closed the door he kissed her all over her face. She just squirmed and moved his head back.

He shut the door.

"Alright Steph! Thank you again..." "No thank you!" I started walking away.

"Oh and if that bitch fuck wit her... I got some for her!" I yelled, looking back at him.

He laughed and got in the truck. I walked upstairs to my apartment.

Dave

I pulled out of the complex. "You wanna go back to the house and sleep in before we go out for the day? I got a surprise for you later..."

She looked over at me. "Yeah..." "Alright."

10 minuets later we pulled up to my complex. I parked, cut the car off, and popped the trunk. I got out and went to her side and opened her door. She got out.

I went to the truck and grabbed most of her bags while she grabbed the rest. I closed the trunk and we made our way to the apartment.

I unlocked the door and she stepped in. "Let's take your things up to the guest room."

We went upstairs and sat her things on the floor. She pulled the covers back, took off her shoes and laid down.

"I'll be in my room if you need me..." I said about to walk out.

"Wait!" I looked at her. "Can you stay in here with me? At least until I fall asleep..."

I smiled. "Sure."

I took my shoes and hoodie off. I pulled the covers back and got into the bed. I wrapped my arms around her and put my face into her neck.

I softly kissed it and closed my eyes until darkness came over...
