Sad Ending

~Alternate ending 1~

Third person's POV:

"Dominic, please come out, it's time to go." Grey hit his door continuously but to no avail. "Then I'll be on my way there first. Please go when you're ready." Turning away from the door, he started his bike before riding away, leaving Dominic alone.

Dominic stared blankly at the ceiling as he hugged Anthony's shirt tightly. Uncontrollable tears flowed down the sides of his face when he breathe Anthony's scent in deeply.

"Why kitten? Why must you leave me?" He cried out painfully while curling himself into a fetus position as times spent with Anthony flashed through his eyes like a fast forward slideshow.

It's been a week since they announced Anthony's death, 7 months and a week since the first day Anthony is announced to be in coma. It was only last week when his heart started to fail before he flat-lined on that very day. 7 days since Dominic has trashed his room and that was the last time he was seen out of his room and only 30 minutes since he then stopped crying his heart out.

Dominic's mind flashed back to the day they went to the carnival, the first time he confessed to Anthony his feelings when he said that he gives his heart to him. He was serious when he said that. On that day, he realised that he had serious feelings for him and had been in love with him from that moment onwards.

Finally finding his resolve, he got up and took a quick shower before putting on his black suit. Combing his hair, he stared into the mirror with dead eyes which had lost their spark ever since his hopes had been crushed mercilessly. The longer he stared at his reflection, the more he realised that this was reality. Anthony is gone for good. He's never getting him back again.

Should I join him? That thought lingered in his mind for a very long time and he finally decided. He was going to join his kitten after his attendance.

Reaching the Chapel, he pushed open the heavy doors to be met by people giving their last regards and Clarice crying in Brandon's arms.

Just as he wanted to take a step to the coffin where his lover lies, he spotted a beautiful pair of hazel eyes staring right at him. He knew it was Anthony. The only hazel eyes which can captivate him was his.

"K-Kitten?" He stuttered, unbelieving his eyes. Anthony smiled warmly at him while motioning Dominic to go to him.

"I miss you kitten. I really miss you. I love you. I really really love you." Tears poured out of his eyes as he fell on his knees in front of Anthony. He couldn't believe that Anthony is just right in front of him when he's supposed to be dead.

"I love you too Dom. I really love you. Do you know what will make me happy?" Dominic shook his head cluelessly as he's head was clouded with both joy and fear. Joy to have been able to see him again and fear to lose him again.

"I will be very happy if I can touch my universe."

"Universe?" Dominic tilted his head in confusion before standing up before Anthony.

" Yeah. Come closer." As Dominic stepped closer, Anthony's hands cupped his cheeks gently before giving him a wide smile.

"I'm happy now. Really happy. You are my universe Dom, so please, live for me. I want to always see you happy and alive. I'll be always watching over you so don't cry. Promise me that you'll stay alive and live happily?" He brushed away Dominic's tears lighyly when they rolled down his cheeks, much to his oblivion.

His words struck Dominic's heart when he realised what Anthony means. Anthony is really gone. Nodding his head weakly with his shaking frame, Anthony lifted his face by his chin before placing a soft kiss on his lips for the last time.

"I love you Dominic, forever."

"I love you too kitten, forever." Anthony's body soon dissolved into sparkles, leaving a lingering chocolate taste on his lips. From that day on, he vowed to fulfil his promise to live happily and to stay alive no matter what.

"No matter where you are now kitten, you will always still have my heart. I love you."
