Chapter Twenty-Three

Falling for the Mafia Brothers953 words~5 min read

Kyle was tired; she had been up most of the night helping the doctor, and she was so thankful that Varina and Violet were taking care of Evie.

She climbed into bed, ready to sleep until the guys came home.

Kyle was in that state of falling asleep and mildly aware of her surroundings, so she didn’t hear the bedroom door open and wasn’t aware of anyone in the room with her until the bed dipped down.

“Wh—”

“It’s just us, ~myshka~.”

“Dimitri!” Kyle sat up quickly, wrapping her arms around Dimitri’s neck. “Where’s Max?”

“Right here, little bee.”

She squealed and threw herself at Max.

“I love you guys so much! I’m so happy you’re back and safe. Is everyone else okay?”

“Let’s not talk about that, but just know Ryan, Anatoli, and Ellis are fine.”

Max kissed Kyle, but the kiss wasn’t the usual kiss that he gave her. It was slow and soft; it was filled with love.

Kyle broke the kiss while Max pulled her closer to him. “I have to get Evie.”

“She’s asleep in her room. Dimitri laid her down before coming in here.”

“Then let’s get some sleep. I’m sure you guys are tired.”

Kyle led Max to the bed and had him lie on the opposite side of her, so she was positioned between the two brothers.

“I love you,” was the last thing Kyle whispered before she fell asleep.

Kyle woke up the next morning with Dimitri still sleeping next to her. Max wasn’t in the room, but she could hear him through the baby monitor, so she turned her attention to Dimitri.

She found both men attractive, but she had always been curious about Dimitri. He had scars scattered across his body; his tattoos hid some, and some he seemed to wear proudly.

She only knew the story behind some of them, and she hoped that one day he would open up to her about how he got those scars.

“Are you just staring at me?”

Kyle felt her face her warm. “I was just admiring you.”

Dimitri pulled her to his side, and she settled her head on his shoulder.

“Did everything go well last night?”

“Yes, but let’s not talk about that. Are you ready for our wedding, ~myshka~?”

“I wanted to talk about that. I want to include Max. I know I’m going to be legally married to you, but I want to have a separate ceremony with Max too.”

“If that’s what you want, then that’s what will happen.”

Dimitri rolled over so Kyle was on her back, and he was on top of her.

“And I want to talk to you about something,” Dimitri said while leaning in to kiss her.

“You never just talk; it must be serious.”

“Eh . . . Kind of.”

“What is it?”

Before he spoke, Dimitri moved Kyle’s hair from her face and kissed her nose.

“I want us to have a baby. After we get married, I want us to work on having a child together.”

“I’d love that. Evie does need a sibling.”

“She’ll have lots of siblings,” he said with a grin.

Dimitri rolled off Kyle and sat up. “I’ve already talked to Max, and he’s aware that he’ll either need to wear a condom or not have sex with you.”

Kyle let out a laugh. “If Max doesn’t want sex, something is wrong.”

Dimitri was sitting on the edge of the bed, and Kyle wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed his neck, moving down to his shoulder.

“I think we could get some extra practice in, you know, to make sure we get it right.”

Dimitri laughed and pulled Kyle around to his front, making her straddle his lap. “I love you, ~myshka~.”

Kyle removed Dimitri’s cock from his boxers, stroking it. “I love you too.” She worked him slowly, pausing every few strokes to tease him.

Dimitri picked Kyle up and placed her on the bed. He slowly removed her panties and then slowly moved her shirt up her body until it was completely off.

“You’re so beautiful,” Dimitri stated as he finished removing his boxers.

Kyle loved how sweet Dimitri was when they had sex. She remembered in the beginning, he was dominating and had to be in control.

Both Max and Dimitri were harsh; she was terrified of them, but there was always something about them. While she was terrified of them, she was interested in them.

She never felt like they forced her to do anything. Even though they demanded her to do things, she felt like she wanted to do it; she wanted to please them.

Kyle knew that this life was for her; she was meant to be here with them.

“Girl, you need to hurry—you don’t want Dimitri thinking you left him high and dry,” Violet said while handing Kyle her wedding dress.

Even though it was a small wedding, Kyle was still nervous. People would be staring at her.

“Let’s get you into this and get you down that aisle.” Violet held the dress while Kyle slipped into it.

“Don’t mess up her hair—I don’t want to redo it,” Varina yelled.

Kyle laughed; ever since Varina got pregnant, she’d been a little bossier and a little more sensitive.

“They’re all done, now let’s go.” Violet pulled Kyle out of the room and toward Ryan.

“You look beautiful, Ky.”

“Thank you, and just so you know, there isn’t anyone else that I would allow to walk me down the aisle. I love you, Ryan, and thank you for everything.”

Ryan hugged her and wiped the tear from Kyle’s eye. “Enough of this sappy stuff—let’s get you married.”
