Kyle didn’t know what to think. She was confused by all of this.

“I need to know if Ryan knew about this, and I need to understand why Viktor is dangerous. You guys can answer half of that right now.” She looked at both men, hoping they would tell her.

“He does what we do, just on a bigger scale. Well, he used to. Our father used to work for him, and some shit went down, and our father came out as the victor, winning this organization.

“Since you got this, we can assume that he isn’t dead as he’s the head of the organization that has been after us.

“He must have taken over that organization to come after us, and now he knows he can try to get two for one: the organization and you.”

Kyle was a bit shocked at what Max just explained to her. She never thought she would be involved in this kind of life, let alone born into it.

“So, what are we going to do?” she asked Max and Dimitri.

“We don’t know, little bee, but now that we have more of an understanding, we can start planning. This may also help us find the person who has been feeding them information.

“All this does not leave this room. We will talk to Ryan eventually, but we need a plan first.”

Max looked at Kyle and could see that this was too much for her; she didn’t know how to process this information yet.

Kyle pinched her nose, trying to ignore the headache that was starting. “Could we get something to eat? I didn’t have lunch, and I’m getting a headache.”

“Feel better now that your stomach is full?” Dimitri asked Kyle.

“My head still hurts, but it helped a little,” Kyle said as she leaned back on the couch next to Dimitri.

“Lay your head down.” Dimitri patted his lap.

Kyle lay her head down, and Dimitri started massaging her head.

“Oh! That feels amazing,” Kyle moaned.

Dimitri wanted to help Kyle relax, but the sounds she was letting out were making him hard.

He kept massaging her head and moved to her temples and leaned down to kiss her.

“Mmm,” Kyle hummed against his lips.

Dimitri’s hand traveled down her torso to her jeans. He unfastened her pants and slid his hand into them, touching her core.

He slowly rubbed back and forth, causing Kyle to moan.

“I love the sounds you make when I touch you,” Dimitri said as he was bending over to kiss her.

Dimitri’s pace started to pick up, and Kyle could feel her release building. She needed the release and started bucking her hips. “More,” she moaned out.

He pressed harder as he rubbed her core, and he could sense that she was close.

He kissed her clit a pinch, and it sent her over the edge. Kyle moaned into Dimitri’s mouth as her body shook from her orgasm.

“Do you feel better now, ~myshka~?”

“Yes.” Kyle sighed and closed her eyes, savoring the alone time she was getting with Dimitri.

“You wanted to talk to me?” Ryan said as he entered Max and Dimitri’s office.

“Have a seat,” Max said. “This conversation is between you and me and never leaves this room, understand?”

“Yes.”

“Good. We got some information the other day. Did you know that Kyle’s father wasn’t her father?” Max studied Ryan’s face to see if he could detect a lie.

“I didn’t. Are you sure?”

Max handed over Kyle’s birth certificate.

“Who is this person?” Ryan asked.

“We are trying to find out,” Max lied. He didn’t want Ryan to know. The less information people knew, the better, and by controlling the information, he could weed out the mole.

“Do you remember calling anyone Viktor or Uncle around the time your mother was pregnant with Kyle?”

Ryan was trying to think, but no one came to mind.

“I don’t think so, but I’m not one hundred percent sure,” he told Max.

“All right. Remember, all this is between us,” Max warned him.

Max knew Ryan was telling the truth; his body language didn’t give any signals of lying, and the conversation didn’t reveal anything.

They were stuck in a rough place. They could wait for Viktor, or they could try to surprise Viktor.
