Ch - 22

They went on the road to collect supplies from mall .

Killing zombies and collecting crystal cores , everyone observed that Xuran was perticularly fond of crystal cores .

So they collected it and handed it to him .

Xuran asked if they needed it back or he could use them .

They replied he could use them as he wished .

So other than keeping a few in his pendent he put all the crystal cores in his space .

Even after putting all the crystal cores he could not enter the forest but he could feel this forest was very different than he had thought .

It seemed like a magical forest , it would take a lot of crystal cores to enter the forest , but it would be worth it .

Reaching the mall , as usual Xuran separated from others and collected lots of materials he would leave one fourth and collect all the rest .

He also got two space jwelery from one  jwelery shop .

After collecting he informed others he is going to see the warehouse at the back , but this time when he entered , there were people present and looked at them with anger for invading their area .

Xuran stoped and said they were just here to collect supplies for the base.

A guy a scar on his face said we won't be giving anything , this place is ours .

Just as he finished talking they heard a scream and a girl crying and struggling asking for help .

Xuran and Yichen understood what was going on Xuran used wood power  and tied them all to vines .

Xuran went around to take  a look and saw there were three girls , there clothes were ripped and they looked very skinny .

Xuran took out three thin blankets from his bag , actually from space though .

And put it on the girls .

Yichen restrained all the men in the warehouse with his powers .

And questioned them , after being afraid of their powers they finally spilled the truth .

They had come here a few days  ago and captured the girls who came here looking for supplies to have fun.

Xuran got so angry listening to this he went up to them and broke all their legs .

Then Xuran went to those girls , they were very scared they looked like 20 or 21 years old .

Xuran took out some women clothes from his space and gave them to the girls .

They were hesitating , but Xuran said " don't worry , i have little daughter too , so i collected lots of women related items . You can use this i still have enough "

" And my daughter is very young , she won't need these for the time being , get dressed we will take you to the base , it is safer than staying outside ."

the girls nodded and Xuran went back to Yichen .

To Yichen , Xurans anger was not wrong at all , these type of people should not be left to do bad things in the world .

After the girls got ready Yichen took the girls and Xuran ordered the vines to follow him .

Then he collected more than half of the supplies like toilet paper , soaps , few edibles etc .

after leaving those men on the streets , they sat in the car Xuran , Yichen, Xiao Liang  and  the girls in one car .

Xiao Liang was sitting in Xurans lap and asked " dad who are these people , why are they with us ."

Meanwhile Xuran gave them some biscuits and mineral water .

Xuran " we are just giving them a ride to the base "

Xiao Liang nodded .

At first the girlas did not believe Xuran's words but now they did .

After drooping them at gate Xuran kindly gave them some supplies in a bag .

And they went back to turn in the supplies in exchange for points .

Yichen had always seen Xuran maintaining a cold face to others this was the first time helped someone , other then Yichen and his group .

Yichen could feel Xuran was kind hearted , but he just did not wanted to get close to others .

He did get a little close to them at least not to show them a cold face after few days of living together .

But a large part of it came from kids not himself .

He always resisted trusting others .

They spend a few days in that base , it was already the end of April .

During their stay in this base they understood that the strongest would rule while the weak had no voice .

There were no soilders anymore only vetenaries to do tasks .

Xuran left the base early and took out the RV and waited for others at the same place where they left the RV last time .

They got on the RV , Zhang Yichen charge the battery to maximum and they turned on the AC .

It was very hot during this time and they were sweating badly .

Finally at night after dinner they took a bath and went to sleep .

Yichen finally circled his arms around Xuran and slept peacefully , inhaling his calming smell.

while Xuran  feelt  itchy on his neck and struggled to move forward , but Yichen draged him back .

Yichen woke up early and freed Xuran from his grip .

Ychen knew they did not know much about each other and there were things that Xuran might not share with him .

But it was fine with him as long as he could stay with Xuran .

Days went by as regular , they went out to kill zombies and collect crystal cores , ate delicious food made by Xuran .

While Xuran entered his space to take a look .

He spent some time collecting grains , but mostly he would use his mental power to collect fruits and vegetables.

He can move things in space with his mental power .

During this time he made a lot of delicious food , to make up for the weight loss during their stay in base of city A .
