Chapter 51: Just Sleeping
At the moment when Jin Yang fingertips touched Zhou Mushiâs forehead, Zhou Mushi opened his eyes. In the darkness, a glimmer of light fell into his beautiful eyes, and as his eyelashes trembled lightly, they brushed against the strings of peopleâs hearts.
âJin Yang,â Zhou Mushiâs voice was very soft when he spoke, with a hint of unobtrusive tenderness and even a trace of pleading, while his hand continued to grip Jin Yangâs neck.
Jin Yang was tightly held and he leaned over, propping his hands beside Zhou Mushiâs body, trying his best not to be knocked down, and said with a stiff neck, âYouâre drunk.â
Even now, Jin Yang still evaded looking at him directly. Zhou Mushiâs heart was filled with immense sadness. In a fit of anger, he hooked Jin Yangâs neck, pressing him against his body. Carefully, he leaned close to his ear, his slightly intoxicated breath filling the air: âAre you taking me for a fool?â
Jin Yang didnât react for a moment to Zhou Mushiâs trivial words. He only knew that he was just one step away from going too far, so he struggled to get up and said, âLoosen your grip.â
Without saying another word, Zhou Mushi, emboldened by the alcohol, held onto Jin Yang even tighter. He pressed his chin against Jin Yangâs collarbone and rubbed it against him twice.
It didnât take long before Jin Yang noticed that there was no movement, thinking that Zhou Mushi had fallen asleep. He gently tried to move his arm away.
Just as Jin Yangâs hand covered Zhou Mushiâs, a slight tremble from his neck made Jin Yang abruptly stop moving.
Jin Yang cautiously called out, âMushi?â
Zhou Mushi didnât respond, but the strength in his grip loosened. He slowly lowered his arm and closed his eyes, looking like he was genuinely tired and about to fall asleep without crying or making a fuss.
Jin Yang sighed, he didnât understand why Zhou Mushi was making such a fuss today.
He sat up and slowly covered Zhou Mushi with the blanket, saying: âYour body is your capital, donât treat it badly.â
Zhou Mushi wanted to open his eyes, but his eyelids were trembling badly. He didnât dare to lower his head, fearing that something might fall out if he did.
A long silence pervaded the room, and finally, Zhou Mushi couldnât hold back anymore. He quietly lifted his hand in the darkness, wanting to hold Jin Yangâs hand.
Just as he was about to raise his finger, the person stood up.
âRest well and make sure to set an alarm. You have work tomorrow.â he said.
Jin Yang didnât know what was wrong with his words, nor did he know if he misspoke about the alarm clock or work. The person lying on the bed, upon hearing his words, suddenly did a fish flop and pounced on top of him in a dominant position.
Jin Yang was prepared to have his clothes stripped off, but Zhou Mushi didnât do anything after that. It was as if he regarded him as a mattress and half of his body rested on Jin Yangâs chest, silently falling asleep.
He began to suspect that Zhou Mushi was really drunk.
Otherwise, why would he just hold onto him and sleep so peacefully?
He couldnât move now, so he had to force himself to move the limbs that could still move, cover the two of them with the blanket, and close his eyes.
After several hours, there was only a faint dim light in the room. Someone opened their eyes, but even though his body was numb, he refused to move and only shifted their chin and kissed a patch of skin they could reach. With just this, it seemed that they had obtained great satisfaction, and then they fell asleep.
