Chapter 38: Obligation

Zhou Mushi remained silent as if he were dead. His skin was really not thick enough, and he couldn’t say it again for a while.

He simply closed his eyes and pretended not to have heard the sound of the chair falling to the ground with a sharp “clang” just now.

That person did not stop because Zhou Mushi remained silent, instead he walked to the front of Zhou Mushi’s “bed” in the dim light.
