Chapter 2 Letâs Divorce!
Zayla held the last bit of hope until the unfamiliar smell came, and her last hope was ruined.
A portable oxygen tank appeared, and the oxygen mask was pressed against her face.
Zayla tried so hard to breathe with the desire to survive. She held the manâs wrist tightly and the beads on his wrist as if this was the only hope for her to live.
It was silent all around, except for Zaylaâs rapid breathingâ¦
Zayla was saved from the brink of death. At that moment, Zayla was completely clearâheaded.
After she breathed freely, the medicine bottle was placed in her palm, and the man turned around and left.
Zayla raised her head with difficulty and stared after him and the hand that was behind his back. On the wrist of his hand were the beads she had gripped tightly just now.
Zayla took out the remaining pills in the bottle and ate them. It was very hard for her to swallow. Just like the five years of marriage, it was hard for her to explain what she had suffered and wiped Zayla sneered when she looked at the pool of Norahâs blood. Zayla took a rag the dried blood away bit by bit. Along with that, her love for Simon disappeared.
It turned out that when they met in Mist Mountain, there would be a disastrous ending. Over the past five years, Zayla was wrong enough.
One always had to move on. If one was stuck in the past, what was the point of living?
As night fell, the relatives of the Russo family arrived at Dorado Villa in advance.
They already knew about the matter of the aborticide and whispered to each other, even pointing fingers at Zayla.
From their conversation, Zayla learned the news of Norahâs miscarriage. Zayla thought Norah played such a wonderful trick.
Zayla smiled and thought, doesnât matter. Norah will pay the price one day.
Right now, the car Zayla was waiting for had appeared.
Simon got out of the car.
Zayla picked up the cake on the buffet table and walked toward him with a smile in front of everyone.
Simon looked at Zayla holding the cake in her hand and thought that she truly knew that she was wrong. In his eyes, Zayla was here to please him and apologize to him.
But in the next second, Simon made a big mistake.
That piece of cake was thrown on his highâend customâmade suit just like that.
At that moment, everyone was stunned, saying that Zayla, a bumpkin, had become a complete lunatic.
But Zayla didnât care about it at all and just smiled indifferently.
âSimon, I wiped the pool of your loverâs blood clean. This is the last thing I have done for you.
âNow, letâs say goodbye to our decayed marriage at your uncleâs reception party.
âLetâs divorce!â
From Zaylaâs words, she didnât show any mercy or loveâ¦
Everyone was even more shocked.
After all, Zayla loved Simon deeply but was so humble in front of him. It was known to everyone.
But now, in front of the Russo family, Zayla had ruined Simonâs fame and even proposed a divorce.
Before everyone could react, Zayla turned around and walked out of the courtyard.
Simon frowned and used a handkerchief to wipe away the cake. He patiently whispered, âZayla, what have you done for me? What are you doing now? Donât you know where we are?â
âSee you at the courthouse at nine oâclock tomorrow morning.â Zayla did not look at Simon again. She had said what she wanted to say.
Simon said with gritted teeth, âZayla, do you know what you are talking about? Once you get divorced, you will never be able to get back.â
