Since that wonderful day when everything started again, MY life has started again thanks to the certainty that he will always be by my side. Every moment together since then has been joy and discovery, we can be "us" again with the same intensity as in the past and perhaps even more so now that our love has been strengthened by the trials it has had to overcome.

We have lived the most beautiful and carefree days, finally free of doubts, constraints or outside interference, we are finally he and I, husband and wife, in our new life together outside of time and any conditioning imposed by others.

We haven't said anything to anyone yet, not even to my parents, I know that sooner or later I will have to broach the subject with them, let them know about the marriage we celebrated months ago and our renewed love, but not now, now is a moment of our own in which there is only us and the rediscovery of our great love.

I take his hand and walk down smiling,  my gaze questioning as he guides me towards the entrance of the facility, the glaring light I leave behind prevents me for a few moments from clearly seeing the shaded interior of the boungalow which must clearly be a restaurant overlooking the beach.

It takes me a few moments to realize what and especially who I have in front of me, I bring a hand to my mouth repressing a scream of surprise, I can't believe it, it must be a dream.

Emre and Layla move to reveal something hidden behind them, a mannequin with the most beautiful wedding dress I've ever seen. Once again I'm open-mouthed and turn to look at Can who is smiling at me excitedly.

I can't hold back the tears of emotion, he has once again managed to amaze me and make me love him even more than I think it's possible to love, I throw my arms around his neck and hug him tightly resting my cheek on his chest and then looking intensely into his eyes.

I can't believe it's really happening, I go in followed by Layla and find everything I need to do my make-up and fix my hair as well as the dress he has chosen for me waiting for me. On the dressing table a surprise awaits me that makes me smile and get excited at the same time, a little crown of white daisies to which the bridal veil has been applied is ready and waiting for me together with a bouquet of daisies and small yellow roses. She didn't tell me about it, but she must have remembered the photo shoot with Arzu during which I had woven some daisies to form a crown that I had put on my head, after some time I found out that he had secretly photographed me and kept those pictures carefully aside.

I am moved by everything he has done for me, I laugh and cry while Layla helps me to arrange my hair in soft waves and to apply a light make-up that I hope will survive the emotion I feel pressing behind my eyelids due to the daydream I am living in this moment.

Once I'm ready Layla leaves me alone for a moment to go and tell Can, I look at myself in the mirror and it's hard for me to hold back the tears of joy that I feel coming up spontaneously when I see myself finally getting married, after all her marriage proposals and the hasty ceremony at the hospital I had lost all hope of wearing such a dress and looking into the eyes of my albatross to declare all my love.

I hear a knock at the door, Layla comes out smiling and tells me that they are "all ready" I look at her questioningly wondering who she is talking about as I approach the door.

Our eyes remain captivated for eternal moments in which everything is said without the need for words.

I shake off the spell of his gaze, I go through the door looking around and I can't hold back the tears once again for what I discover, from Emre's tablet my mother, father, Aziz and Mihriban are smiling excitedly, from my sister's tablet Deren, Cey Cey and the guys from the agency are looking at us with emotion.

But the biggest surprise is waiting for me on the tablet in the hands of a waiter, I can't believe it but there they are, looking happy for us, our respective childhood friends Ayhan, Osman and Metin.

I'm moved by the thought Can had, he announced to me just before that today we would become husband and wife in the eyes of the world by having our loved ones with us and he wasn't kidding, he made sure that everyone we love most in this life was really there.

He leads me towards the door that leads to the beach and once again, on this memorable day, I am speechless in front of the location that has been set up for the celebration of our wedding. There are my favourite flowers, transparent veils swaying in the breeze from the bluest sea I have ever seen, which forms the backdrop to this corner of paradise that has been prepared for our most beautiful day.

We walk down the aisle created with fluffy cloths and scented flowers while Layla and Emre follow us with our virtual "guests" until we arrive in front of the official who smiles at us and, after welcoming us, pronounces a very simple and beautiful formula that Can has chosen for us:

"Now you will not feel the rain, for you will be shelter for each other.
